Obama Administration Funding Projects “Towards The Establishment of Independent Palestinian State”

Friday, September 4th, 2009

Obama HeadscarfThe United States is funding a Palestinian Authority project to place non-Hebrew road signs throughout Judea and Samaria.  The PA plans to implement it in exclusively Israeli-controlled areas as well.

The project is part of American aid “towards the establishment of an independent Palestinian state,” as a top official of USAID (United States Agency for International Development) in the PA, Howard Sumka, told the Al-Hayat Arabic daily.

The project was announced by PA transportation minister Dr. Saadi Alkaranz. Correspondent Haggai Huberman reports that it is the first of its kind since Jordan lost control of the area when it attacked Israel during the 1967 Six Day War.  All roads and localities will appear in Arabic and English on the new signs; Hebrew will not appear.

Minister Alkaranz said, “This project is included in the government’s plans to lay the foundations for the establishment of a Palestinian state whose capital is Jerusalem.” He explained that the signs will not include the names of any Jewish locations in the region.

{The Article}

Although the writing on roadsigns might sound like a non-issue, it has become a very contentious issue in the Arab/Israel conflict recently.  Not too long ago, Israeli Transportation Minister, Yisrael Katz  suggested that although all the roadsigns in Israel will continue to be in Hebrew, and Arabic (and English), they will use the Hebrew names for Israeli cities.  Thus, instead of now where the signs refer to Jerusalem as “Jerusalem” in English, “Yerusahlaim” in Hebrew, and “Al-Quds” in Arabic, they will all read “Yerusalaim” but be written in all three languages.   This caused an outpouring of all hell from the Israeli-Arabs,  and Muslim/Arab world with claims of racism, ethnic cleansing, etc.  Dispite this, the PLO/PA plan, funded by the U.S. (ie: your tax dollars) is to only use Arabic!

We also should not ignore the scope, message, and impact of this plan.  The project will effect EVERY area of Judea & Samaria, creates facts on the ground, impact the daily lives of the Arabs in Judea & Samaria, and interfere directly with Israeli sovereignty.  This is all without getting into how it is premature, and in violation of the principles, requirements we have insisted upon before such actions could be taken.  (see Road Map, Annapolis, Oslo, Camp David…)  As we all know, this hasn’t stopped the Obama administration from holding Israel to the previous agreements. (ie: removing roadblocks, giving the PLO soverignty, and “settlements”)

Hopefully it is accidental, but the Obama Administration is participating in history revisionism, racism, and ethnic cleansing.  The Obama administration seems to be making the same mistakes as the Bush administration did with the “Disengagement”, and supporting an outcome that is inherently Anti-Semitic.   By creating these “Arab only” facts on the ground, the Obama administration is wiping the historic Jewish connection to Judea & Samaria out of the history books, and supporting the forced exclusion of Jews from a future Palestine, and bolstering the Arab claim that a future Palestine shoudl be Judenrein.

‘Fun with terror’

Monday, August 24th, 2009

This is nothing new and yes, most of us have seen these before.  However, that doesn’t change the fact that it never ceases to amaze me that the world continues to blame every Islamic ill on Israel.  Will they ever take responsibility for anything? (rhetorical)  I hope and pray that people all over the world will begin to open their eyes to the hypocrisy and hate that oozes through almost every fabric of palestinian life.

They could have hope, instead these children are only taught hate.

Hamas Woos Gaza Kids from UN Camps to Join ‘Fun with Terror’

(IsraelNN.com) Hamas has embarked on a massive campaign this summer to woo Gazan children away from UNWRA (United Nations Works and Relief Association) summer camps to its own camps. At Hamas summer camps, kids learned to wage war against Israel and were indoctrinated with Islamic ideology.

Hamas has run 700 summer camps throughout Gaza in 2009 at a budget of $2 million, which were attended by 100,000 children. according to a research report by the Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center. In contrast, UNRWA ran camps that were attended by between 200,000 to 250,000 kids. Fatah, Islamic Jihad, and other Islamic groups also run Gaza summer camps.

Leading up to the summer, Hamas embarked on a massive advertising campaign which included a designated website designed to encourage parents to send their children to Hamas camps instead of the UNWRA camps.

Hamas council member Younis al-Astel repeatedly lambasted the UNWRA camps for being coeducational, and claimed that campers there used drugs, learned how to dance, and worst of all, were taught about reconciliation between Gaza and Israel.
[...]

Besides learning about Islam and studying the Koran at Hamas summer camps, children also learn to fight in the Jihad against Israel. Children are taught weapons training, hand-to-hand combat, as well as the use of explosive belts for suicide missions.

In one incident in July, children in a Hamas summer camp reenacted the June 2006 kidnapping of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, in which two other Israeli soldiers were killed.

“In the war against Israel, there were more than 100 children trained to attack Israeli forces in Gaza,” a source in Gaza told Middle East Newsline. “Some of them ran away and many of them were killed.”

Children in Hamas summer camps also protested the “Israeli siege” of Gaza, some laying on the ground in rows, faking death from starvation.

Flashback:
(07/14/04):

PA summer camps: Featuring the use of summer camps to promote a culture of hatred amongst Palestinian children. Teach Kids Peace calls for an end to end to ALL incitement at PA summer camps. Teach Kids Peace.

(07/31/08):

Gaza summer camps teach kids to fire rockets
Palestinian children on annual vacation can choose between Hamas or Islamic Jihad summer camps, both of which boast militia-style training, Koran classes, lessons on political prisoners

But our “leaders” are more worried about Israelis building homes in a city they created, than to take issue with Palis militarizing children.

pfft!

History Thread: The Nazi-Islamic connection

Monday, August 17th, 2009

Here is a video I came across and it explain a great deal of what is going on today. The Progressive Movement is currently aligned with the Islamists, this is nothing new. The German Progressive Movement or as they are better known as: The Nazis, actively made alliances with Islamists.

This Video even shows America’s beloved  Bosnian Muslims recruited in the German Army!

The Leftist-Islamic alliance, nothing is new under the sun!

Op Ed: In Defense Of The So-Called “Settlements”

Monday, July 20th, 2009

The best weapon against the propaganda, and half-truths we are bombarded with everyday by the MSM, and the professional Arab/Islamist taqiyah organizations is education.  It is in this vein that I present to you the following op-ed.

_______________________________

In Defense of The (So-Called) “Settlements”

by Israel Medad

No one, including a president of the United States of America, can presume to tell me, a Jew, that I cannot live in the area of my national homeland. That’s one of the main reasons my wife and I chose in 1981 to move to Shiloh, a so-called settlement less than 30 miles north of Jerusalem.

After Shiloh was founded in 1978, then-President Carter demanded of Prime Minister Menachem Begin that the village of eight families be removed. Carter, from his first meeting with Begin, pressed him to “freeze” the activity of Jews rebuilding a presence in their historic home. As his former information aide, Shmuel Katz, related, Begin said: “You, Mr. President, have in the United States a number of places with names like Bethlehem, Shiloh and Hebron, and you haven’t the right to tell prospective residents in those places that they are forbidden to live there. Just like you, I have no such right in my country. Every Jew is entitled to reside wherever he pleases.”

We now fast-forward to President Obama, who declared on June 15 in remarks at a news conference with Italy’s prime minister, Silvio Berlusconi, that Jewish communities beyond the Green Line “in past agreements have been categorized as illegal.”

I believe the president has been misled. There can be nothing illegal about a Jew living where Judaism was born. To suggest that residency be permitted or prohibited based on race, religion or ethnic background is dangerously close to employing racist terminology.

Suppose someone suggested that Palestinian villages and towns in pre-1967 Israel were to be called “settlements” and that, to achieve a true peace, Arabs should be removed from their homes. Of course, separation or transfer of Arabs is intolerable, but why is it quite acceptable to demand that Jews be ethnically cleansed from the area? Do not Jews belong in Judea and Samaria as much as Palestinians who stayed in the state of Israel?

Some have questioned why Jews should be allowed to resettle areas in which they didn’t live in the years preceding the 1967 war, areas that were almost empty of Jews before 1948 as well. But why didn’t Jews live in the area at that time? Quite simple: They had been the victims of a three-decades-long ethnic cleansing project that started in 1920, when an Arab attack wiped out a small Jewish farm at Tel Hai in Upper Galilee and was followed by attacks in Jerusalem and, in 1921, in Jaffa and Jerusalem.

In 1929, Hebron’s centuries-old Jewish population was expelled as a result of an Arab pogrom that killed almost 70 Jews. Jews that year removed themselves from Gaza, Nablus and Jenin. The return of my family to Shiloh — and of other Jews to more than 150 other communities over the Green Line since 1967 — is not solely a throwback to claimed biblical rights. Nor is it solely to assert our right to return to areas that were Jewish-populated in the 20th century until Arab violence drove them away. We have returned under a clear fulfillment of international law. There can be no doubt as to the legality of the act of my residency in Shiloh.

I am a revenant — one who has returned after a long absence to ancestral lands. The Supreme Council of the League of Nations adopted principles following the 1920 San Remo Conference aimed at bringing about the “reconstitution” of a Jewish National Home. Article 6 of those principles reads: “The administration of Palestine … shall encourage … close settlement by Jews on the land, including state lands and waste lands.” That “land” was originally delineated to include all of what is today Jordan as well as all the territory west of the Jordan River.

In 1923, Britain created a new political entity, Transjordan, and suspended the right of Jews to live east of the Jordan River. But the region in which I now live was intended to be part of the Jewish National Home. Then, in a historical irony, a Saudi Arabian refugee, Abdallah, fleeing the Wahabis, was afforded the opportunity to establish an Arab kingdom where none had existed previously — only Jews. As a result, in an area where prophets and priests fashioned the most humanist and moral religion and culture on Earth, Jews are now termed “illegals.”

Many people insist that settlements are illegal under the Fourth Geneva Convention. But that convention does not apply to Israel’s presence in Judea and Samaria and the Gaza district.  Its second clause makes it clear that it deals with the occupation of “the territory of a high contracting party.” Judea and Samaria and Gaza, which Israel gained control of in 1967, were not territories of a “high contracting party.” Jewish historical rights that the mandate had recognized were not canceled, and no new sovereign ever took over in Judea and Samaria or in Gaza.

Obama has made his objections to Israeli settlements known. But other U.S. presidents have disagreed. President Reagan’s administration issued a declaration that Israeli settlements were not illegal. Support for that position came from Judge Stephen M. Schwebel, former president of the International Court of Justice, who determined that Israel’s presence in Judea and Samaria did not constitute “occupation.” It also came from a leading member of Reagan’s administration, the former dean of the Yale Law School and former undersecretary of State, Eugene Rostow, who asserted that “Israel has a stronger claim to the West Bank than any other nation or would-be nation [and] the same legal right to settle the West Bank, the Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem as it has to settle Haifa or West Jerusalem.”

Any suggestions, then, of “freezing” and halting “natural growth” are themselves not only illegal but quite immoral.

‘Terrorist Leader’ Threatens To Sue ‘Bruno’ Movie

Monday, July 13th, 2009

JAFFA, Israel – A “terrorist leader” interviewed in the just-released hit movie “Bruno” is fuming mad, telling WND the film mislabels him and that the movie’s star, Sasha Baron Cohen, conducted the interview under false pretenses.

Ayman Abu Aita, who is labeled in the movie as a “terrorist group leader,” said he was shocked when he learned five days ago the film depicts a homosexual character and contains scenes including full frontal male nudity and graphic homosexual fetish sex.

Aita also slammed Baron Cohen as a “big liar” who “made up stories” when describing to CBS’s David Letterman last week the way he met Aita at an undisclosed location. Aita said he is pursuing legal action against Baron Cohen.

“[Baron Cohen] said this was a film going to help the Palestinian cause,” Aita told WND. “When I heard (four days ago) what this film was about I really didn’t believe it.”

“Moderate” Fatah Official: “Our Goal is Not Peace, but Rather Palestine”

Monday, July 13th, 2009

Photo:<!--###IMAGE_BRIEF###-->Palestinian Media Watch once again proves that the terrorists from Fatah (”Moderate” Mahmood Abbas/Abu Mazen’s Party and the ones the U.S. are building a professional army for, with your tax dollars), openly admit their true intent, and state that any “peace” created will only be a means to their ultimate goal of destroying Israel.

_________________________________________

_________________________________________

This discussion on public “Palestinian” T.V.  again proves that despite the West’s continuous desires, Fatah is no less committed to Israel’s destruction than Hamas.

Kifah Radaydeh, the deputy head of the Jerusalem chapter of Fatah, says openly that the PA will resume violence and terror against Israel when Fatah is “capable,” and “according to what seems right.” “It has been said that we are negotiating for peace,” she further stated, “but our goal has never been peace. Peace is a means; the goal is Palestine.”

Just like their founder Yassir Arafat, they know to say one thing to the usefull West, and to work for another with their fellow Arab Muslims.  Kifah Radaydeh however is not a lone “extremist”, as her statements are part of the overall Fatah policy.

Fatah MP Najat Abu Bakr said in a PA TV interview last year that Fatah’s goal remains the destruction of Israel, but that their political plan is to focus on returning to the 1967 borders. He stated “It doesn’t mean that we don’t want the 1948 borders,” Abu Bakr said, referring to all of Israel,” but rather that “our current political program is to say that we want the 1967 borders.”

Also, just four months ago, senior PA official Mohammed Dahlan stressed that Fatah adamantly refuses to recognize Israel, and that even the Palestinian Authority’s recognition is only for the sake of receiving foreign aid: “…the Fatah movement does not recognize Israel, even today… [such recognition is] required of the government but not of the Fatah, so that this government will be able to offer the necessary assistance, to carry out the necessary reconstruction, to offer assistance to the sick, to bring relief to needy families… This can be dealt with [only] by a government that has relations with the international community, one that is acceptable to the international community, in order that we can work together and benefit from the international community.”

The terrorists of Fatah/PLO have been lying to the West, and getting away with it, for decades.  It is never the Arabs whom state that they are going to accept a “two-state” solution, or “peace” as their ultimate goal.  This is simply what the West, including our current administration, wants to hear – so they do. Even today the West demands a “settlement freeze” from Israel, stating it is a requirement for “peace” even though the Phakestinians openly state that this won’t make a difference.  On these confused beliefs of what the Phakestinians want, and what will bring about a resolution to the Arab-Israel conflict, despite the Arab’s own statements to the contrary, the EU is even calling on the UN to impose “peace” on Israel.

If the world listened to the actual words of the Arab/Muslims, and not just what they want to hear, they would see why all of their attempts at gaining “peace in the Middle East” have failed miserably.  The Arab/Muslim goal since the increased influx of Jews to the region, (even before 1948) has always been the same: destroy Israel (kill the Jews).  Carl in Jerusalem posted a brilliant video showing how little the aims of the PLO and Fatah have changed over the last sixty years since Israel’s creation, and another evidencing how the charges Israel was being called to answer to fifty years ago are remarkably similar to the charges made against her today.

The PLO/Fatah/Abu Mazen/Mahmood Abbas policy hasn’t changed, and was placed on paper, and made “official” in the 1974 PLO Phased Plan.

They keep saying it……so when will the West start listening?

EU Blames Israel For The PA Wasting Their Aid Money

Monday, July 6th, 2009

The EU seems to be waking up to the fact that all of the billions they have funneled into the terrorist organization known as the P.A. (Palestine Authority) for decades has been wasted.  Unfortunately however, they have decided to blame this on the Jews.

_______________________

The European Commission issued a statement Monday blaming Israel for the fact that aid money has not succeeded in stabilizing the Palestinian Authority economy. Despite decades of aid, much of it from Europe, the PA economy remains in shambles.

According to the commission, the fault lies with Jews living in Judea and Samaria. Jews take fertile land that could otherwise be used for Arab agriculture and their presence leads to restrictions on Arab travel, spokesmen said. Travel restrictions also harm the PA economy, they claimed.

“It is the European taxpayers who pay most of the price of this [PA] dependence” on aid, the commission concluded.

The EU funds the PA and Gaza to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars per year. European countries have poured $280 million in aid into PA coffers in the first half of 2009 alone.

Despite the aid, the PA regularly reports a budget deficit. Much of the budget goes to pay salaries – the PA employs roughly 160,000 people, including many PA loyalists in Gaza who receive paychecks despite being without work since the Hamas takeover in 2007.

This response is dispicable, and the Europeans are shameless.  To them, the murdering Phakestinians can do no wrong.  In 2005, Israel donated to the Phakestinians fully working greenhouses, synagogues, and other buildings to be used as their infrastructure.  They destroyed them, and used them for terrorism instead. Since 1967, Israel has been giving the Phakestinians money, electricity, water, etc.

Despite all of this, the pathetic Europeans are once again simply blaming the Jews, and excusing the horrid behavior of the terrorist Phakestinians.  This “blame the Jew” mentality seems to have become reflexive, and internationally accepted. It is truly a shame.

When Egypt Occupied Gaza

Thursday, June 4th, 2009

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_u-AKWDZaYso/R9dC65Cmp1I/AAAAAAAACMM/MpasBVcWE0Y/s400/Palestinian_lynch.jpgFollowing the footsteps of all Western leaders before him in recent history, President Obama has waxed poetic on the need to fulfill the dreams of every Phakestinian by providing them with a ”much deserved” State.  (Even comparing Phakestinian suffering to the Jews in the Holocaust)

His statements, and policy is based on many false assumptions, but none more influential than the repeatedly proven false belief that the Phakestinians are suffering from an unprecedented “occupation” by Israel, and that they actually want to live side-by-side with Israel in peace within their own Country.

Carl In Jerusalem, does a fantastic job explaining the folly of this assumption, and gives a bit of a history lesson on the Arab-Israel conflict from an angle that is often not discussed: When Egypt Occupied Gaza.

Below are excepts from Carl In Jerusalem.

_______________________________________

Egypt occupied the Gaza Strip from 1948-67.  Had they chosen to do so, and if the real goal of the ‘Palestinians’ and the Arab countries had been to do so, Egypt could have granted Gaza independence as a ‘Palestinian’ state. (Jordan could have done the same with the ‘West Bank’).

But that was not Egypt’s goal and the Arab countries have no interest in the ‘Palestinians’ or a ‘Palestinian state.’ Here are a couple of examples of how the ‘refugees’ in Gaza were treated in the 1960’s, long before there was any ‘occupation.’

Egypt’s policy for the Strip was succinctly spelled out by the deputy governor, Muhammad Flafaga, in an interview appearing in the Danish newspaper Aktuelt on February 9, 1967:

  • Question: Why not send the refugees to other Arab countries? Syria would no doubt be able to absorb a vast number of them. Are you afraid that national bonds with Palestine will be loosened, that the hatred against Israel will vanish if they become ordinary citizens?
  • Answer: As a matter of fact, you are right. Syria could take all of them, and the problem would be solved. But we do not want that. They are to return to Palestine.

UNRWA reported in 1956: “One of the obstacles to the achievement of the General Assembly’s goal of making the refugees self-supporting continues to be the opposition of the governments in the area.”

Ralph Galloway, an UNRWA official who quit in frustration, observed bitterly: “The Arab states don’t want to solve the refugee problem. They want to keep it as an open sore, as a weapon against Israel. Arab leaders don’t give a damn whether the refugees live or die.”

No discussion about the Arab-Israel conflict would not be complete without mentioning the 1974 P.L.O. Phased Plan.

One of the major reasons why the Arab-Israel conflict has yet to be resolved is because we don’t allow ourselves to properly understand it, and instead naively cling to baseless assumptions regarding the Arab goals; namely destroying Israel.

The “Disengagement” from Gaza in 2005 is a recent blaring example of this.

After Obama’s Meeting With Netanyahu, MSM Works Overtime To Manufacture Anti-Israel Sentiment

Wednesday, May 20th, 2009

The international mainstream media has been working overtime to shift the narrative regarding the Arab-Israel conflict, and place all blame on Israel’s shoulders – despite the reality being the complete opposite.  Although many of us have come to accept this from the press, a sharp left turn against Israel has become more apparent, and they are using all the weapons of propaganda in their arsenal.

Fauxtography

What better place to start than with with Fautography from the AP in Bilin?  The Associated Press would have you believe that this man holding a key aloft in one hand, and raising the other in a defiant fist, directly in front of a photographer Bernat Armangue simply “passed out” from tear gas at a Nakba demonstration this week.

For those who do not know, Bilin is home of the West Bank’s longest continuous run of manufactured dissent and grandstanding for the cameras.  It is “ground zero” for the ISM, and their ilk to Paliwood riots, and “IDF abuses”.

_______________________________________________

Inverting The Facts / Shaping The Discussion

The AP however, didn’t stop there.  Much of their, and other’s, media coverage of Netanyahu’s meeting with Obama this week tended to concentrate on Netanyahu’s refusal to formally endorse the creation of a Palestinian state dispite the fact that this is a misnomer regarding his position.  In fact, while with President Obama,  Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, spoke eagerly about renewing negotiations and expressed support for Palestinian autonomy.  Despite this, the media’s coverage implied that his position presented an obstacle to peace.

While the media outlets focused on the negative with Netanyahu, the real obstacle to peace – Hamas – continued to be treated completely differently.  In an Associated Press article published the day after the meeting, the A.P. provided a platform for Hamas leaders to propagandize to the West and falsely express “moderate” positions, such as a quote from Hamas lawmaker Yehiye Moussa saying, the group is “not demanding to destroy Israel.”

This is despite the fact that, as writer Karen Laub point out, that Hamas is not about to change its ideology – which explicitly precludes any recognition of Israel.  Insofar that it is the historically stated position of Hamas that it is their ultimate goal to destroy Israel, an honest reporter would have to conclude that nothing has changed with Hamas.  However, Karen Laub streteches reality to note that Hamas has begun “raising the possibility they would someday accept a Palestinian state alongside Israel.”

So while Netanyahu’s call for Palestinian autonomy is treated as insufficient and anti-peace, Hamas’s rhetorical, though not ideological or practical, shift from total rejectionism is presented as a cause for hope.

Blaming The Victim; Ignoring The Huge Kiffiyah Wearing Elephant

Last, but definatly not least, in this hall of shame is England’s “The Independent” which stands out from the crowd with a glaring omission.

In an article by Donald Macintyre, “Israel goes cold on plan for regional peace deal,” a list of “obstacles to peace” includes issues such as settlements, Palestinian infighting, Iran, Syria and Israel’s own apparent reluctance to publicly endorse a Palestinian state.

Putting aside the relative importance or otherwise of issues such as settlements being primary stumbling blocks, Macintyre conveniently forgets a very real and potentially the greatest obstacle to peace – Palestinian terror and violence.

How can Macintyre omit the thousands of missiles fired from Gaza at Sderot and surrounding Israeli communities for several years (and before the Hamas takeover of the Gaza Strip)? Indeed, only the day before Macintyre’s piece was published, Sderot endured a Qassam rocket attack on a courtyard adjacent to two private homes. One resident was wounded while several others were treated for shock.

And how can Macintyre forget the brutal campaign of suicide attacks against Israeli buses, cafes and other civilian targets that has claimed the lives of over 1000 Israelis and wounded thousands more since the year 2000? While major attacks have declined recently thanks to Israeli counter measures such as the Security Fence, the incentive for terrorist groups to carry out similar acts of violence has not.

We could also add to the list other potential obstacles to peace, for example, Palestinian intractability on issues such as the right of return, incitement in Palestinian media and the education system that has poisoned Palestinian minds, and the increasing role of Islamic extremism represented by Hamas.

The way that the Pro-Arab propagandists, useful-idiots, and Terror sympathisersr associate home building, with murder is truly disgusting.

DONT JUST SIT THERE….DO SOMETHING!

Please write to The Independent – letters@independent.co.uk – to remind them that there are many potential obstacles to peace and that some of these that the paper has omitted, are the responsibility of the Palestinian side to overcome.

You can also contact The Associated Press – to remind them of their duty to provide unbiased, truthful reporting on such an important issue.

PA Representative: “Two State Solution Will Kill Israel”

Thursday, May 14th, 2009

When discussing the Israel-Arab conflict, everyone today will tell you that the two-state solution is the only resolution to end the conflict.  Although this belief is presently considered the internationally accepted view, it was originally the Arab talking-point.  Naive westerners today believe that the Arabs want a two-state solution as a final resolution to end the fighting, and to create a final status.  This however is not what the Arabs want, nor what they say to each other, and  it never has been.  They don’t want peace with Israel, they want to destroy Israel.  The tactics might have changed, but the goal has not!  This won’t stop them from lying to naive western politicians, and slobbering western journalists however because doing so has been the most successful tactic in helping them achieve their final goal.

What the Arabs are willing to say to their own however, has always tended to be more candid.

___________________________________

Palestinian Authority Police Salute(IsraelNN.com) Palestinian Authority representative in Lebanon Abbas Zaki says the two-state solution is his preferred approach, as it will lead to Israel’s collapse.

Speaking with Lebanese ANB Television on May 7, Zaki said that any ceasefire, or hudna, deal with Israel is not desirable.  Instead, the long-time PLO member said, “we must go towards the two-state solution, a solution that even [Iranian President Mahmoud] Ahmedinajad supports.”

“In my opinion,” Zaki explained, “with such a solution, Israel will collapse. Because if they get out of Jerusalem, what will be left of all their [the Jews’] talk about the Promised Land and the Chosen Nation?  What will be with all the sacrifices they gave and then they are told to leave?”

The two-state solution, supported by the United States and most of the world, calls for a Palestinian Authority state in Judea and Samaria, leaving Israel barely 11 miles wide in some areas.

Zaki said that Jews and Israelis “perceive of Jerusalem as having a spiritual status. They relate to Judea and Samaria as a historic dream. If the Jews leave these places, the Zionist idea will begin to collapse of itself – and then we will move forward.”

The interview was brought to the Western eye by Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).

Zaki has made similar points before.  In 2008, the former Palestinian Legislative Council member for Hevron, former Fatah operations head, and current PLO Central Council member said, “When the ideology of Israel collapses, and we take, at least, Jerusalem, the Israeli ideology will collapse in its entirety, and we will begin to progress with our own ideology, Allah willing, and drive them out of all of Palestine.” Zaki also headed the PLO Lebanon Committee and the Palestine National Liberation Army’s political commissariat.

Asked then if he believes in weapons or negotiations, Zaki replied, “The use of weapons alone will not bring results, and the use of politics without weapons will not bring results. We act on the basis of our extensive experience. We analyze our situation carefully. We know what climate leads to victory and what climate leads to suicide. We talk politics, but our principles are clear. It was our pioneering leader, Yasser Arafat, who persevered with this revolution, when empires collapsed.

To those willing to be realistic when discussing the Arab-Israel conflict, Zaki’s statements are not surprising nor new.  It has always been the goal of the Arabs (who then created the “Palestinians”) to destroy Israel, never to make peace.

They tried all out war, and failed miserably.  Therefore, they changed their tactics to terrorism.  Although reasonably successful on this front, it wasn’t accomplishing their ultimate goal of total destruction of the Jewish State, so they have moved on to what we could cynically call diplomacy.

As Zaki alludes to, none of this is by chance or fate – it is all ACCORDING TO THE 1974 P.L.O. PHASED PLAN for Israel’s destruction!
