Just something to think about.

This report speaks for itself, so I am going to get out of its way.

The Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life report provides a precise number for a population whose size has long has been subject to guesswork, with estimates ranging anywhere from 1 billion to 1.8 billion.

The project, three years in the making, also presents a portrait of the Muslim world that might surprise some.  For instance, Germany has more Muslims than Lebanon, China has more Muslims than Syria, Russia has more Muslims than Jordan and Libya combined, and Ethiopia has nearly as many Muslims as Afghanistan.

The arduous task of determining the Muslim populations in 232 countries and territories involved analyzing census reports, demographic studies and general population surveys, the report says.  In cases where the data was a few years old, researchers projected 2009 numbers.

The report provides further evidence that while the heart of Islam might beat in the Middle East, its greatest numbers lie in Asia: More than 60 percent of the world’s Muslims live in Asia.

About 20 percent live in the Middle East and North Africa, 15 percent live in Sub-Saharan Africa, 2.4 percent are in Europe and 0.3 percent are in the Americas. While the Middle East and North Africa have fewer Muslims overall than Asia, the region easily claims the most Muslim-majority countries.

While those population trends are well established, the large numbers of Muslims who live as minorities in countries aren’t as scrutinized.  The report identified about 317 million Muslims — or one-fifth of the world’s Muslim population — living in countries where Islam is not the majority religion.

About three-quarters of Muslims living as minorities are concentrated in five countries: India (161 million), Ethiopia (28 million), China (22 million), Russia (16 million) and Tanzania (13 million).

In several of these countries — from India to Nigeria and China to France — divisions featuring a volatile mix of religion, class and politics have contributed to tension and bloodshed among groups.

Europe is home to about 38 million Muslims, or about five percent of its population. Germany appears to have more than 4 million Muslims — almost as many as North and South America combined. In France, where tensions have run high over an influx of Muslim immigrant laborers, the overall numbers were lower but a larger percentage of the population is Muslim.

_ Of roughly 4.6 million Muslims in the Americas, more than half live in the United States although they only make up 0.8 percent of the population there. About 700,000 people in Canada are Muslim, or about 2 percent of the total population.

China:Ambition And Duplicity!

Sunday, August 16th, 2009

Several recent reports about China-Centric activities have come to light, that seem to merge in significance from slightly different angles.

First, from Reddiff, China should break up India: Chinese strategist.

The punch line in the article has been that to split India, China can bring into its fold countries like Pakistan, Nepal and Bhutan, support ULFA in attaining its goal for Assam’s independence, back aspirations of Indian nationalities like the Tamils and Nagas, encourage Bangladesh to give a push to the independence of West Bengal and lastly recover the 90,000 sq km territory in southern Tibet.

I recommend reading it all.

Then, in July there was a report from the South Asia Analysis Group, CHINA: Back to Containing India? Take note this article’s title ends with a question mark.

Therefore, clearly a very serious effort at forming a China-Nepal-Pakistan trilateral is in the offing. This alliance covers India from the North-West to the East at the Eastern sector of the Sino-Indian border. During the BNP-Jamaat-e-Islami (JEI) government in Bangladesh from 2001-2006, the China-Pakistan-Bangladesh nexus against India started flourishing. With the debacle of the BNP-JEI alliance at the 2008 December elections, the anti-India agenda has been broken with the Awami League in power. But that is not the last word. Beijing continues to worm its way into Bangladesh. During the BNP-JEI government China, Bangladesh and Pakistan entered into an agreement to coordinate their intelligence operations in India.

As India is a growing economic power in the region, the threat to China’s hegemony in this region is genuine. For China to project power beyond its own sphere of influence, it must first gain control of the region in which it exists.

That India is a strong ally of the U.S., we must continue to support them to thwart China’s ambitions, not only for their own good, but for ours and the worlds.

With China vulnerable to internal strife of its own, those vulnerabilities should be exploited now, while China is struggling to maintain the growth in its economy it must have to keep its citizens from demanding change.

In that vein, another article highlighted how China is struggling to do just that, and once again shows that China doesn’t support free markets, just profitable industries that serve the Communist agenda.
The Deeper Level Of The China-Rio Affair.

Since the global financial crisis hit China hard a year ago, economic policy has become a national security concern for Beijing. The party’s legitimacy to rule is predicated on its continued delivery of rising living standards to all Chinese. The global recession has made that more difficult. Increasing incidents of social instability have further rattled a Beijing already concerned about the growing wealth gap between urban rich and rural poor. Hence the importance of restoring at least 8% GDP growth this year.
******
The Hu-Wen leadership is counting down to the 2012 end of its 10 years in office, and succession battles anywhere can open unexpected fronts in the in-fighting. National security has always had a broader interpretation in China than in other large economies and has a long history of being deployed for political purposes.

If ever there was a convergence of need and opportunity for striking at China’s internal vulnerabilities, that time is now.
Former President Bush and his administration recognized the growing China threat, and was successful in ending decades of distrust between the U.S. and India, to counter this threat.
Unfortunately, we currently have an administration that embraces our enemies and doesn’t view threats at our or global security matters as vital, in comparison with the goal of making this nation as subservient as the Chinese are to the ChiComms.

Pakistan is focused on India while Taliban makes gains

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

This is a great article and it makes the obvious. Pakistan’s army still views India as the main enemy, not the Taliban. The Taliban is taking advantage of this.

Besieged by the Taliban, but thinking only of India

Today, Pakistan’s President drops in on America’s. There will be forced smiles and fine gifts, but stern words must also be exchanged.

Pakistan’s Asif Ali Zardari seems more interested in demonizing India than in defeating the Taliban. Barack Obama can’t afford to humour such misplaced priorities. How difficult will it be for him to extract serious change out of his Pakistani peer, fair-weather ally and duly elected, deeply compromised pain in the neck? I got a taste of the odds stacked against meaningful change myself when I confronted Pakistan’s former president, Pervez Musharraf, at a recent gathering.

Pakistan is a lost cause and I don’t want anymore  of our tax dollars going there. Let India deal with them.

Iran’s Idea Of Diplomacy With The U.S.

Monday, May 4th, 2009

President Barack ChamberlainPresident Obama has made a huge deal about how eager he is to extend his hand in peace to those who were traditionally considered the enemies of the United States.  It seems to be his belief that but for the strength, and aggressiveness of the United States, countries such as Iran, Syria, North Korea, and Saudi Arabia would be America loving democracies.  Although the Obama Administration has famously stated that they are expecting Iran to unclench their fist, it seem that instead Iran would rather punch the U.S. in the face.

Iran’s Strategy In Upcoming Nuke Talks With U.S.:  Come Out Swinging

Iran intends to “come out punching” at an upcoming conference regarding nuclear armaments, and will attack the U.S. for cooperating with Israel and India on nuclear programs, according to the Reuters news agency.

The news service reported Sunday that it has obtained four Iranian working papers prepared for the meeting of the signatories of the 1970 Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), which is aimed at halting the spread of nuclear arms. The working papers show Tehran is “redoubling its efforts to draw attention away from its own nuclear program by turning the spotlight on Washington for what it says are clear breaches of the 1970 Non-Proliferation Treaty,” Western diplomats told Reuters.

Iran will claim that the U.S. itself has violated the treaty by developing new nuclear weapons and providing nuclear aid to Israel and India, neither of which has signed the NPT.

Tehran will also slam what it calls the “nuclear-related cooperation of the United States with the Zionist regime” and say the U.S.-India nuclear deal has “severely damaged” the NPT by showing that non-signatories can receive special treatment.

In addition, Iran will blame the U.S., Britain and France “for working to prevent [Iran] and other developing countries from having complete nuclear energy programs.”

Meeting begins Monday

The signatories of the NPT gather on Monday to prepare for a major conference in 2010.

Some countries want the nuclear powers to carry out past pledges to disarm and to agree on a plan to seal loopholes that have enabled states like North Korea, which withdrew from the pact, to develop nuclear weapons.

U.N. diplomats involved in the conference told the news agency that Iran has “gone on the offensive ahead of the meeting” in order to “keep the focus away from its nuclear program.”

Tehran has refused to halt its uranium enrichment program despite three rounds of U.N. sanctions.

Iran’s NPT papers do not mention the fact that President Barack Obama has offered to conduct direct talks with Iran nearly 30 years after Washington severed ties with Tehran. “Iran is very worried that Obama’s commitment to disarmament … will make it harder to portray the Americans as the enemy,” a Western diplomat said.  “The same goes for Obama’s engagement policy. So they (Iran) want to come out punching.”

Mumbai terror suspect Mohammed Kasab – I was tortured by police

The sole terror suspect to be captured alive during the Mumbai attacks made an apparent attempt to avoid a possible death sentence by telling a court today that he was only 16 years old at the time of the atrocity and had been tortured in custody.

Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab, who faces 166 counts of murder, sought to withdraw a statement in which he had detailed his training with the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist faction, saying that he had been beaten by Indian police.

Mr Kasab is alleged to be one of ten militants who attacked Mumbai’s main train station, two luxury hotels, a backpacker bar and an orthodox Jewish centre in a commando-style assault that last for 60 hours in November.

“He was beaten, thrashed, by police” Mr Kasab’s lawyer, Abbas Kazmi, a veteran of high-profile terror cases in Mumbai, told The Times. “Under this fear he recorded his so-called confession.”

Oh please. By now, the left has the world calling loud music and belly slaps “torture”. *eye roll*

India warns Obama over Kashmir

Wednesday, February 4th, 2009

While Obama is kissing up to Muslims, he’s pissing off 1 Billion Indians. India is worried Obama might try to pressure it over Kashmir to appease Pakistan.

India warns Obama over Kashmir

India has warned US President Barack Obama that he risks “barking up the wrong tree” if he seeks to broker a settlement between Pakistan and India over the disputed territory of Kashmir.

MK Narayanan, India’s national security advisor, said that the new US administration was in danger of dredging up out of date Clinton administration-era strategies in a bid to bring about improved ties between the two nuclear armed neighbours.

“I do think that we could make President Obama understand, if he does nurse any such view, that he is barking up the wrong tree. I think Kashmir today has become one of the quieter and safer places in this part of the world,” Mr Narayanan said in an interview with CNBC TV18.

So Obama will pressure India and Israel to make concessions to the Muslims. Why isn’t anything demanded in return from the Muslims? Does anyone also see a pattern of Muslim nations having disputes with their neighbors?

Chabad’s Nariman House Was Main Target Of The Islamic Terrorists In Mumbai

Friday, January 9th, 2009

During interrogation, Mumbai’s Islamic Terrorists Admit That Their Core Mission Was To Attack The Chabad Nariman House.

Rabbi Gavriel and Rebetzin Rivka Holtzberg Who Were Brutally Tortured and Murdered By The Islamic Terrorists

INDIA (DNA.COM)  Think 26/11, and images of the carnage at the Taj come to mind. But the terrorists themselves were in no doubt that Nariman House was the prime focus. For this was the place which housed a Jewish centre, and the fanatics from Pakistan were clear that they wanted to send a message to the world from there.

The Mumbai crime branch, which is investigating the terror attacks, has found that the terrorists’ handlers in Pakistan were clear this operation should not fail under any circumstances. The rest of the operations — at the Taj, Oberoi and Chhattrapati Shivaji Terminus — were intended to amplify the effect.

A senior police official, told DNA on condition of anonymity, that the interrogation of Mohammed Amir Iman Ajmal (aka Kasab) revealed as much. Just before entering the city, the terrorists’ team leader, Ismail Khan, briefed them once again about their targets. “But Khan briefed Imran Babar, alias Abu Akasha, and Nasir, alias Abu Umer, intensely on what to do at Nariman House,” the officer said.

When asked during interrogation why Nariman House was specifically targetted, Ajmal reportedly told the police they wanted to sent a message to Jews across the world by attacking the ultra orthodox synagogue.

According to the statement by Ajmal, Khan told Babar and Nasir that even if the others failed in their operation, they both could not afford to. “The Nariman House operation has to be a success,” the officer said, quoting from Ajmal’s statement.

Pakistan to UK: No, we will not help you with your Mumbai investigation

Monday, December 15th, 2008

This comes right from Robert Spencer

Fresh from refusing to help India, Pakistan now refuses to help the UK. Does anyone still have any serious doubt that significant elements within the Pakistani government support the “tiny minority of extremists,” or else calculate that the support for them is so strong among the Pakistani people that if they move too strongly against them they will invite insurrection?

And note this well: “It is our country and our laws will be implemented. We’ll follow our laws.” Isn’t it funny how so many Pakistanis, when they come to the UK, seem to forget that that simple principle applies to the British also?

Here are 2 of the best comments:

From the article:

“He {Pakistani PM} said his answer was no.

“It is our country and our laws will be implemented. We’ll follow our laws.”…’.

Fine.

Then all countries not dominated by Islam, all Infidel-majority countries, should respond, loud and clear to the murderous and aggressive Mohammedans on their borders, and to the seditious and quarrelsome Mohammedans who have infiltrated their midst:

“THIS is *our* country and *our* laws will be enforced. We’ll follow our laws; and if you insist on breaking our laws, and showing contempt for us and our customs and laws, then you will suffer the punishments our law prescribes for such conduct, and we will remove you from our midst. [To the Muslims on the borders: 'cross our borders, attack our citizens, and we will FLATTEN YOU.'].

“Our laws forbid polygyny: so, out you go, Mr Mohammedan with your two, three, four ‘wives’…or face a bigamy charge and a LOONG session in the clink, and by the way, all benefits are ceasing to said wives, as of yesterday;

‘and Mr Imam who solemnised that marriage of Mr Muslim to Miss Muslim aged 10, contrary to our laws about the age of consent etc., Our Laws Will Be Enforced…you are being deported, now.

‘and Mr Muslim ‘Youth’ who helped gang-rape a kafir girl: your putative citizenship just evaporated, and you are in the clink, sans Koran, sans visits from the imam, until your sentence ends, or you die of old age.

‘And our laws forbid sedition and treason, so, Mr Muslim preaching jihad and the replacement of our laws by sharia…your citizenship that you despise is cancelled as of today, and here is your ticket back to Dar al-Islam…

‘and the bulldozers are outside your mosque ready to flatten it, the moment the forensics team finishes searching it for evidence of activities that *our Law* deems illegal and/or immoral.”

If the UK flattened every Mosque in the UK and brought in the treason Law with Death sentence, then I guarantee that it would help ease the recession as they’d be understaffed in the executioner department.

Here in the UK we need to seriously cripple Islam.

1. As above, knock down all the Mosques
2. Ban the worship of Islam within the UK
3. Knock down Halal meat shops and immediately forbid Halal with long sentences, followed by deportation if broken to ancestral home. If their country doesn’t take them then they’re simply dropped from a plane in the English channel on the french side. After all the chances are in the high 90’s that they came to the UK that way in the first place. They can deal with them, seeing as the French love Islam so much.
4. Do not employ any Muslim near the serving of Pork or Alcohol.
5. Do not allow Muslims to sell alcohol, pork or anything forbidden/not made in Muslim countries. That pretty much puts everything in the West unsaleable then doesn’t it? P.S. No importing of Muslim products.
6. No holidays for Muslims at religious events.

Now if that doesn’t get them leaving the UK in their droves then nothing will. Oh I forgot the main one :

7. NO BENEFITS OR WELFARE. That means Muslims have to pay for all dental, medical and educational needs. No council houses, after all does Islam not say that a man must make and honest living?

We have to clamp down on Islam big time in the West. Make it the most unsavoury place for them to live.

FUCK the Pakistanis. That entire country needs to be depopulated, the sooner the better.

India PM: Pakistan is the ‘Epicenter of Terrorism’

Thursday, December 11th, 2008

The Prime Minister of India is calling Pakistan the ‘epicenter of terrorism,’ and hinting broadly that India’s patience is reaching its end.

NEW DELHI (AFP) – India’s Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday called Pakistan “the epicentre of terrorism” and said the international community must deal with the problem.

“We have to galvanise the international community to deal with the epicentre of terrorism, which is located in Pakistan,” Singh said in a speech to parliament.

The prime minister said India had exercised “the utmost restraint so far” but added that should not be “misconstrued” as a sign of weakness. He said India “cannot be satisfied with mere assurances on an end to terror emanating from Pakistan.”

Pakistan is one epicenter of terrorism, it’s true, but not the only one. Our friends the Saudis are pretty accomplished at funding and exporting extremist Islam around the world, too, and it’s a continuing mistake to ignore them.
