Woman Run Over by Muslim Father Dies

Sad, sad news tonight.  Following up on the previous story about an Iraqi girl in Peoria, Arizona who was run over by her father because she was “too Westernised,” AP reports this evening that she has passed away,

A 20-year-old woman from Iraq whose father allegedly hit her with his car because she had become too Westernized has died from her injuries, authorities said.

Noor Faleh Almaleki had been in a local hospital since Oct. 20, when police say her father ran down her and her boyfriend’s mother with his Jeep as the women were walking across a parking lot in the west Phoenix suburb of Peoria.

Peoria police spokesman Mike Tellef said Noor died Monday. The other woman, Amal Khalaf, is expected to survive.

Family members said Faleh Hassan Almaleki believed his daughter had become too Westernized and was not living according to his traditional Iraqi values.

Faleh Almaleki fled after the attack but was arrested Thursday when he arrived at Atlanta’s airport, where he was sent from the United Kingdom after authorities denied him entrance.

Lampposts and rope were invented so as to deal with animals like this guy.

This is actually a common problem with progressives. Their homes are shitholes because of their values and the systems that they have in place. They get tired of it, and then move to a new area that is better. Then they start the process over. Islam and progressives are a cancer on society and they need to be removed, quickly. The more time we linger on the subject the harder the task becomes, and imho it’s damn near critical.

In all probability, nothing will happen for two reasons. First, the family is now living under a microscope and they would not do something so obvious. Second, the folks let her become a figgin’ cheerleader. They are westernized already. Chances are the girl was very impressionable and was influenced by the wrong people. The mom and dad are probably just happy to get their kid back.

Well I think Islam and the progressives are two very separate phenomena, though deluded progressives try to support the cause of radical Islam. At bottom, radical fundamentalist Islam is reactionary, an extreme social conservatism of a non-western nature. The incredible stupidity of the progressives lies in not recognizing that their humanistic values would be the first thing to go in the soup pot if the jihadists took over.

There’s definitely a reactionary vein in a movement that insists against all evidence that a 150-year old doctrine that has failed disastrously every time it’s been tried is the wave of the future. Don’t kid yourself. There’s nothing new under the sun, at least on the left. Nothing but worn out tired old failures of ideas.

In particular, the environmental movement (and it’s sibling Malthusianism) is pure, 100% adulterated reactionaryism.

Well, The Ponytailed One has a new breed of posters, that’s for sure:

This is a bit last-week, but Jon Stewart gets his first heckler in 11 years during an interview with an Israeli and a Palestinian pleading for peace.

Jon Stewart invited two guests who competed with each other in how much they despise Israel. One of them was a member of the Barghouti family in the “Palestinian” area and the other was a Jewish woman who is known for her hatred of Israel.

    “Pleading for peace?”

The heckler was thrown out of Comedy Central for shouting “LIAR!!” at one of the guests.

I went over to another site to see their take on this. It used to be the main site that I would visit to find out more about the culture of the ROP(TM). Nothing. There is a story on the declining ice fields on Kilimanjaro, something that people first started discussing in the late ’80s. Since I cannot post there this is for the stalkers to report back on.

I first saw Kilimanjaro as a youngster and the first sight of it is burned in my memory. However, no one ever suggested that it is an extinct volcano, the the glacial loss may be due to the fact that the mountain may be warming up in anticipation another eruption. Another cause may well be that with the eradication of the tsetse fly there has been a massive increase in domesticated stock, notably cattle and goats, which have destroyed much of the natural vegetation in the surrounding plains and this has led to dust settling on the glaciers, which no longer reflect the sun and therefore melt. The declining ice cap on Kilimanjaro should not be used as evidence for global warming especially as there has been no discernible decline in the ice on other mountains in equatorial Africa, notably Mounts Kenya and Ruwenzori.

Back on topic, may her soul rest in peace and may her father, having done what he has done, live with what he has done.

Of course my knowledge of how their system works in Arizona is lacking. In Texas the prosecution will set the charges and the jury is responsible for convicting and sentencing the accused when the death penalty is involved. If the vote to execute is not unanimous then it will not be used.

In fact, the jury is responsible for sentencing the accused in any murder case. It is actually a very fair system. We have folks that in the process of protecting their property will kill the intruder. Instead of being sent to jail for life, they get to go home to their family. The left hates us for our use of the death penalty, but we are very judicious in using it. This year we have have executed 19 criminals so far. Here is a website that tracks them and tells you the reason in each case http://www.txexecutions.org/reports.asp

I went over to see the Puff Ho’s take on this story, the comments are predictable:

“I am watching a trial of a Christian mother accused of killing her children”, (Lady, I doubt if they were murdered in the name of Christianity)

“The Koran is the literal word of God sent by the Archangel Gabriel”, (Yadda, yadda, yadda)

“This tragedy has nothing to do with religion”, (Of course not!)

“It is all GWB’s fault”, (Naturally, who else? The father had nothing to do with it. GWB was on a drive to Arizona)

The Huffpo is full of comments about the first anniversary of Obama’s victory, not an event to be commemorated here. The posts are more sorrowful and regretful than triumphant. I tried to empathize because schadenfreude is a base and unworthy emotion. I tried very, very hard.

Yeah, like I said, the jury actually sets the penalty. If it was a really ugly crime they generally get justice. A big case I’ll never forget was Karla Faye Tucker. The first woman to be executed in Texas since 1863. Here is her wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carla_Faye_Tucker

It was a heinous crime. Her defenders were trying to claim she should be spared because she had found Jesus. That didn’t really convince the courts. Some might think me callous, but I was proud of my state on that night. Justice for the victims was served.

I remember that case. There was a lot of national, and even international, pressure to remit her sentence. Yes, you should be proud that Texas did was just and not what was “nice.”

    @ wolfie:

Thank you. Even though I was only 15 at the time, I had a very strong opinion on the subject. My stance on the issue was that even though she repented and found Christ, it did not excuse the crime she had commited. The bible states clearly that the laws of the land must be upheld. I hope that God forgave her, but she still needed to answer for her crime.

    @ linoleumknife:

Agreed. And let’s face it. We aren’t God and we can’t really tell what is going on in someone’s heart, can we? If you remit a sentence because of a jailhouse conversion, you can bet there will be a lot of fake conversions on death row!

I do sincerely hope her conversion and penitence were real and that she is therefore in a better place now.

  81. 81 | November 3, 2009 12:40 am

    2. Pretty funny? Pretty ugly? You’ll probably be pretty something.
    3. Maybe, maybe not. All depends on your answers above.

Faleh Almaleki fled after the attack but was arrested Thursday when he arrived at Atlanta’s airport, where he was sent from the United Kingdom after authorities denied him entrance.

Interesting that he fled to the UK! Instead to some Middle eastern hell hole refuge.

Doesn’t say much for the current state of health of the UK culture does it, when scumbag Islamists choose the UK as their bolthole!

Ahhh but THAT is the whole crux of the argument.

The Socialist Progressives think that they can use Islamists as their surrogate shock troops to harry the West. And the Islamist think that the Progressives are idiot infidels who are contributing to the Islamist end game and will be ‘taken care of permanently when they are of no further use harrying the West.

Both sides think that they are GAMING THE OTHER!

Someone is in for a nasty surprise!

That is a very good point. This Muslim murderer actually thought he could find safe haven in Britain.
What a reputation Britain is getting if Muslim scum think it is the sanctuary country instead of one of the filthy sand traps they come from which most likely would allow them in.
Kudos to Britain for rejecting this human garbage. I hope he gets the death penalty. It would send a good message to the rest of the bastards thinking of killing their daughters.
