Good evening Blogmocracy Netizens, it’s Party time!
Tonight’s Drinking thread I dedicate to great Local NY Brew called Brooklyn Lager. This beer is made by Brooklyn Brewey. The comapny has many types of Beers like Brown Ale, Black Stout, east IndiPa ale Ale and Seasonal Oktoberfest. This brewery is located in Brooklyn NY. As someone who grew up in Queens, I appreciate this Brooklyn based beer it reminds me of home.
It’s great beer and that is what I am drinking tonight!
Here is a Video paying tribute to Brooklyn.
Here is a current Hip-Hop/Electro Song I really.
Here’s an 80’s Track for the Non Hip-Hop/Electro fans
Here’s a Beatles classic.
I’m going out for a bit, I will join everyone in a few hours!

{Hoops}- you have such a big heart. Don’t give them any ammo…
It hurts me when ex-lizards trash Charles who gave them a voice on the Internet.. They are so mean to Charles and you..and they trash talk me and thousands of good folks..
I am so sorry…I should live to a higher standard.
Crap..Thanks Sharm
“Thousands of good folks”? On LGF? Has ANY thread hit 1,000, let alone comments from 1,000 different people? Or even 500 different people? Recently, I mean.
We carved the kids pumpkins and told ghost stories , tonight. I will do my Thomas Jefferson, Ronald Raygunz, and Minuteman pumpkins manyana.
Tonight’s dinner was Chello Kabab va zaffron pollo, maast va kayar, and an Aussie Shiraz. Currently into my second bottle for the night, a 2005 Berringer Reserve Cab.

Don’t let it get you down, Hoops. You got mad and had to have a post deleted. Just promise me you’ll learn from it, because that sort of thing happens to all of us.
Guess they didn’t didn’t notice him calling us fascists, ridiculing people, trashing people by guilt by association, outing people’s names, pissing on peoples beliefs …etc etc
While some people may have asked for what they got, the large majority were unfairly maligned by CJ for having the audacity to disagree with him or visit a site he didn’t approve of
That’s the fact, play the victim card all you want but it is an outright lie to claim CJ is the “victim”…
He is the jackass who decided to attack, real and imagined “enemies”
500 people? Try 25 if he’s lucky. The front page links….of 25, 14 are linked by Thanos and 6 by EE…Just one of those many things that makes you go hmmmmmm.
I got booted for posting once at Ace, Sharm just because you or rose went trolling and saw me there.
And I didn’t even know that was an unapproved place nor would it have mattered.
The fact that there are “unapproved” places is what you should be concerned with!
I do wonder what became of Salamantis.
You know, that guy suddenly appeared on LGF out of nowhere right before the big evolution campaign. He would faithfully show up for every thread on that subject, but rarely at other times. Now I hear he has disappeared.
You don’t suppose he has been transformed into Ludwig?!!!
Isn’t it funny that CJ follows all his former and current admirers around the internet to see if they are acceptable to him yet he doesn’t appear to understand the consequences of someone turning that same behavior on him?
It’s highly likely that with this administration he’s going to find out what it feels like shortly and I have a funny feeling he’s not going to like it.
There once was a lizard named ‘Squid
Would do whatever crazy Charles bid

It’s been interesting as ever but while some of you wax nostalgic about riding your motorcycles I have to go work on them tomorrow, although I will ride one of my bikes to work (employee discount). Nite all.
Sooo cool, I just upgraded from Windows Vista Premium 64bit to Windows 7 Premium 64bit. As a non-techy…I can already notice the difference. Shiiit…am I typing faster too?! Or, is it that damn Crown again. Oh well, either way…this is fun!
Makes sense to me. Iowahawk is a fascist-sympathizer.
That wingnut Hoffman is posing in front of a Chevrolet. A red chevrolet. Did you know that a red chevron appears on the crest of the arms of the Duke of Norfolk, whose daughter married a man who went to the same university as Alain Benoist, one of whose books was actually purchased by a leader of Vlaams Belang?
What makes that doubly funny is that people here will remember back to when 1.0 was sane and KOS was the swamp. In those days, there was a KOS-kiddie who posted under the nick “kestrel”. Kestrel was pretty full of himself as being angry and whose apellation was a vicious bird. Turned out that kestrels are really pretty small wimpy birds as hawks go. Now 1.0 is acting that way
Tarantula Azul margarita mix? Never heard of that but it sounds so exotic. I had hot saki tonight only because the one choice of red wine at my local dive…. is nasty.
Like a pack of whipped hyenas, they lick each others wounds, basking in victim-hood and surprise that they are criticized, satirized and mocked. The failure to connect the dots to their own behavior is pathetic. Dark-Chicken’s praise of CJ and the clueX4 is embarrassing.
These ARE losers. Weak cult members allowing one person to drive their opinions.
Sickeningly PATHETIC!
Let’s talk about real men and women.
I’ll start. I miss Cheney.
Favre-a purple loving freak that used to bleed green & gold. Shit, I still love the guy, just not this year and not until he retires as a Packer-as he should, someday.
Hhahaha Wolfie! Even back in the day before all the banishments he now and then posted so much drama about being threatened… and I often wondered back then, how can someone threaten you if when they have no idea where your physical body resides. Guess he was a loon then, just didn’t notice.
Look for it in the mixer section of a liquor store or supermarket. It’s a blue mix normally found in the tequila section down here. The rum cuts the citrus and makes for a very smooth drink.
Modern history: I miss Reagan, William F Buckley Jr, Margaret Thatcher, and Supreme Court Justice William Rehnquist.
Historical — We need more people like Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, John Hancock, and Patrick Henry and less people like William Jefferson Clinton, George Stephanopoulis, John Stewart, or Duval Patrick.
I believe the reason Cheney was so hated by the progressives is because he spoke directly, with authority, and from a moral position. The “If it feels good, do it!” types could not take the heat. So, they made him into the Dark Lord.
This country needs a father figure fast. The “0″(pronounced zero) only offers a metrosexualized role model.
I know you didn’t mean it this way, but that could be taken as a call for a strong statist.
What we really need is a strong, principled conservative who truly believes in the inherent strength of individuals and a smaller, less intrusive federal government committed to the federalist model. It will take a strong leader to reduce the federal government footprint and restore those principles.
Bumper sticker fodder:
Smaller Carbon Footprint?
Screw That!
We need a smaller government bootprint
OK, there was this one episode of the Sopranos that I really like. Janice, Tony’s sister had started living with Richie, the absolute meanest man of the series. Tony and the gang had already decide that Richie had to go. He was even meaner than they could take. They just hadn’t fixured out how to do it yet.
Richie had this sexual thing, he liked to put a gun to the head of the person he was having sex with. Janice as the case was, endured this as a nightly sex ritual with Richie. Then this one night Richie and Janice got into an arguement and Richie hit her. Richie had really screwed up. Janice was a Sopranos and quiet the syco.
She came back later with the gun that Richie always pointed at her head during sex. As Richie sat down to eat his sausage and pasta. Janice shot him in the chest. Janice called Tony and he came over with his guys and hauled Richie off the kitchen floor in Hefty bags.
So anyway, Janice is taken to the bus station by Tony, she saved him a lot of trouble, but he doesn’t tell her that. Then as that episode is over this song plays.
#60 in thread “Inhofe, the last Flat Earther” on the subject of true science:
A person like Inhofe thinks that science is something to be believed in rather than accepted based on evidence.
. . .
Real science as always is about facts and observations. It is about following the data where it leads and accepting truths that are not always comfortable. This is not done because people want uncomfortable truths to be true, but rather because they are convinced by the evidence that this is so. The only authority in science is the data and the analysis of the data.
In other words, look at the evidence and when you see the data and the analysis, you can immediately see the truth, and have no more need for “beliefs”.
Not stated, but so strongly implied – look at my evidence, my data, my analysis.
And in #70 he goes on to lament that it is no use to cast facts and evidence before swine:
If your interlocutor is not a fact or analysis based thinker, then bringing facts and analysis to them will only cause them to spew more dogma. There is no particular cure for that sort of rigidity once it is set in.
A little further along at #105 he brings down a tablet from the mountain with his 3 commandments on it which he then proceeds to slam down over the heads of anyone who would dare question his data and analysis.
At #179 (my bold)
Bagua, I am not interested in getting into this semantic debate with you.
The IPCC statement that you quote was deeply watered down in order to gain wider acceptance from the various entities – not all scientific – involved with it.
If you do not believe that we are definitely the source and the cause of the present warming, then refute the smoking guns listed in #105.
I repeat. We are 100% certain the primary driver of the present warming.
As a scientist I will give we are 90% certain that we are the only driver worth being taken into account. I give the last 90% because there is some evidence that solar variations are having a very small effect. However, no-one believes that they are the primary driver.
I repeat. 100% certain, we are the primary driver of the present trend.
Well, be careful with them. I can’t help myself…I just love the guy. I love watching him play. I love when he gets excited like a little kid like he’s done something great for the first time, I love when he gets pissed at himself…because he cares. Not enough players love the game anymore, it’s all about the money. Favre was lucky, he’s got both.
You have a great perspective. Mine is alittle different. We had him for 16 years; lived and died by Brett. I still love the guy-as a someone who took my Packers to the Super Bowl, twice. And, as an all-around-great ball player.
He’s among the best there ever is/was.
BUT, he’s playing against my Packers and wants to defeat them. For that, I hope he FAILS and and has the worst game of his career.
As much as I love to watch him plsy, I’m hoping to see him flat on his back as often as possible!
Go Pack!
Wish I could say I’ve been having so much fun. Gotta bad cold, feel hot and breathing is uncomfortable. And this weekend the time changes back to Eastern Standard.
Just was at the doctor’s for a few minor things but I don’t normally go for sore throats and the like. I don’t think there’s a heck of a lot they can do, really. I’m just thirsty all the time, I put a thermos of water on the bedroom window sill to keep slaking my parched throat.
Had the same miserable 3 day rhinovirus couple of weeks ago. Lasts 3-5 days. From what my co-workers say-their children are the only ones getting the H1N1 crap.
I guess I can look forward to another couple of days before this moderates, then. I’m so pleased with my training, and I’m frustrated to have to stop. After a decade or so of marginally high BP I’ve got it down into a fully normal range just through diet and exercise.
Well I’ve just succeeded in getting my BP into a fully normal range, typically 127/78 or the like—no drugs, just good eating and running. Listening to Rush might be a mistake.
You’re right! But I got compulsive, was running around in the slush to go to the gym and back all last week (car in body shop). Now I’m paying, I guess.
I was following that thread today. LVAsshat is a one trick cornhole. When someone brings facts to his lunchbox, he denigrates the author; but when he brings up questionable data, it’s empirically correct. wottadick.
Sounds like you know what the Doctor orders. Take care and shalom aleichem friend.
I’m departing these parts-there’s a GAME tomorrow folks!
Peace & good things to all……..
I’ve been eating to little, too. Should know better. But I’ve gotten my BP down to normal for my 59th b’day, so that’s something to celebrate. No drugs or whatever, just diet and fitness.
I can see how that would work. If I got sick the first thing I would look for is the stuff I can’t remember the name of. The second thing I would look for is Jack Daniels. The third thing would be a shot glass.
OMG. It was so cold here I almost had to roll my windows halfway up on the 1/4 mile drive home. Didn’t have to roll down my sleeves though, so I guess global warming is good for now.
I’m thinking of opening a Bottle of wine. The economy is really bad. The bar I was at wasn’t like it’s usually been. Normally it’s packed out but not tonight.
The spring, It will be by email so the Progressives and Jihadists don’t know.
Not that I personally scared, because I can take a Progressive or Muslims any day of the week. It’s for the safety of you guys. We have a tight Knit community, so I feel protective over the Blogomocracy.
Hey you saw the 1st Video Crooklyn. That’s from the time period I used to DJ Rap. I met Buckshot who was in that video back around 94.
I really miss the mid 90’s, It was a fun time to live.
I met Puffy, Biggy, Nas, Mob Deep, Snoop, Group Home, Naughty by Nature, Cypress Hills, Capone N Noreaga, OC, Diamond D, Fat Joe and many others. I had so much fun Djing.

Likely they’re bored. After all only a few are allowed to speak and then only to say ” yes master”.
I only check them when somebody here says there’s a catfight.
How do’ Poteen. Work has been so slow for me and many others that its kinda fun to comb through the 1.0 threads waiting for downdings, flounces, or words of whizzdumb from CJ.
Snork is one of the best for keeping tabs. I don’t know how he does it. He beats me to scoops by minutes, not seconds, so I just lurk and report on an occasional basis.
I am convinced Progressivism is the biggest evil the Country. Where did these Nerdy Goofy Nerds come from to take over this country. I swear in a Civil War the Progressives would get their clocks clean.
Ludwig is a Racist Anti-Hispanic/Catholic bigot. He bashes Catholics and Christians. No one calls him out on it. If I ever caught him in a neutral blog, I would go after him like a Wolf goes for Sheep.
They’ve been in this country for a long time, under different names and guises. They gained a lot of power in the 1800’s, and in the early 1920’s, the communist party had a strong foothold. Their popularity has always been underground, and up to and including the 1950’s, they had the potential to be a credible 3rd party.
Communism has always been an underground movement, because no one in his right mind would vote for it.
Except for violent overthrow of an incumbent government, the only way communism succeeds is step by step, quietly, and that’s what they’ve been doing for decades.
If you walked away, you didn’t get the stick. If you spoke your mind and got ousted, it wasn’t self-inflicted.
I still lurk over… there. The conversations are mostly inane, until someone speaks up against the groupthink, and that’s fun to watch, all the thrashin’ and spittin’ and name callin’.
I’ve seen some of it here, but very little, and for the most part it’s civil.
That’s exactly right, and exactly how it should be! The handful of tiffs that I’ve seen were mostly about misunderstandings of the poster’s intentions, and where there were disagreements in philosophies the fights ended in cordial detente.
I’ve seen no “Piling On” bullying here, either (except for when Moe goes on a snarky baiting binge, but that’s Moe, and he plays a fun game).
I found my post. I said,” Goodbye, everyone, I love you all.” Which was mostly true. I have the screenshot. My statement was not exactly a shot across the bow.

WASHINGTON – President Obama has asked the Pentagon’s top generals to provide him with more options for troop levels in Afghanistan, two U.S. officials said late Friday, with one adding that some of the alternatives would allow Obama to send fewer new troops than the roughly 40,000 requested by his top commander.
Mornings are the only time I can consistently visit. I try to pop in in the afternoons and evening when I can–it’s so great to see the new nics of old friends.
Regards to you, Ma’am– bear in mind, I’m not much of a chatter at best, and this durn blog software ( like most of the breed ) doesn’t notify you if you get a reply, so if I don’t keep a tab open or check back, I can’t “see” if anyone has hailed me.
I just heard a clip of Obama saying that “It is clear that our policies are having an impact.”
Unemployment is at a 26 year high! Cogratulations Barry.
The only conservatives that I kow of that are still at LGF are lawhawk, Ben Hur and Mandy Manners.A few of the newbies seem to be but they wont last long.
Neitehr he (LVQ), iceweasel, KKKillgore or Chaz will face anyone in a neutral blog where they have to defend themselves in a debate without the banning stick.
and the midgets because they are so frightened about being called out, run in packs and spend time counting their updings. A bunch of wussies. I took a stroll down LGF archive memory lane last night and you would not believe the difference between then and now. On second thought you would because I saw your posts.
The King James version of the Bible runs more than 600 pages and is crammed with celestial regulations. Newton’s Principia Mathematica distilled many of the rules of physics in a mere 974 pages.
Neither have anything on Nancy Pelosi’s new fiendishly entertaining health-care opus, which tops 1,900 pages.
So curl up by a fire with a fifth of whiskey and just dive in.
But drink quickly. In the new world, your insurance choices will be tethered to decisions made by people with Orwellian titles (”1984″ was only 268 pages!) like the “Health Choices Commissioner” or “Inspector General for the Health Choices Administration.”
You will, of course, need to be plastered to buy Pelosi’s fantastical proposition that 450,000 words of new regulations, rules, mandates, penalties, price controls, taxes and bureaucracy will have the transformative power to “provide affordable, quality health care for all Americans and reduce the growth in health care spending . . . .”

The Dems have a huge problem looming in their future – the ever-increasing deficit, already at record levels, is only going to get bigger under their leadership. This is already causing grumbling within their own ranks, and outright terror everywhere else, as the unsustainability of their policies becomes apparent.
So what? All the Dems have to do is get as many people as possible into a program where the government supplies their needs. Then every election cycle, just keep reminding the faithful exactly which party it is that makes sure the good times keep rolling.
Well what do you know, William Ayers is at the top of the White House visitation list (because his last name starts with “A”, but you get my point) TWICE.
WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- The Congressional Budget Office said Thursday a U.S. House health-care system re-write would extend health insurance to 96% of the nonelderly U.S. population by 2019, and spend $1.055 trillion to do so.
Penalties imposed on individuals who did not purchase insurance, and employers who did not offer coverage to their workers, would raise $161 billion over that time-frame. That brings the net cost of the bill to $894 billion through 2019, CBO said

But what exactly has BO done to anger the right so much, and elevate the rhetoric so harshly so fast?
The stimulus, Cap and trade and 0bamacare- bad, bad, god-awful policies that will harm the country and he’s trying to pass through on the basis of his personality with no questions asked. Granted those crap-tastic ideas aren’t his alone, but ultimately he gets to sign off on them and there’s more in the pipeline (Card Check, a 2nd stimulus).
Bush won re-election by a wider margin than 0bama did, and one of the first things we heard the Fat Fuck From Flint Micheal Moore say was ‘56% isn’t a mandate, Mr. Bush’…but apparently to these hypocrates on the left, 52% is a mandate when their guy won.
I have no problem when he does the right thing (Maersk Alabama; various predator drone strikes in Pakistan that I’m sure he signed off on at some point)…especially when they result in the enemies of the United States of America being killed. But the guy’s a smarmy, thin-skinned Chicago hack who’s barely been asked a difficult question by his MSM cheerleaders. I have zero faith or trust in the guy based on what he’s trying to achieve domestically.
Holy cow. But he’s just a guy in the neighborhood!
Sheesh. The One is a liar! It just keeps getting worse doesn’t it? And we could have 3 more whole years of this crap.
Makes my head hurt!
As for the Ayers thing, some people are saying that the POS Ayers’ middle initial is “C” and the one on the register has a different middle initial, but there are 2 visits and the “second” William Ayers doesn’t have an initial listed. Conveniently left off?? I wouldn’t put ANYTHING past those crooks.

SMART ASS ANSWER OF THE YEAR 2009 !!
A college teacher reminds her class of tomorrow’s final exam. ‘Now class, I won’t tolerate any excuses for you not being here tomorrow. I might consider a nuclear attack or a serious personal injury, illness, or a death in your immediate family, but that’s it, no other excuses whatsoever!’ A smart-ass student in the back of the room raised his hand and asked, ‘What would you say if tomorrow I said I was suffering from complete and utter sexual exhaustion?’ The entire class is reduced to laughter and snickering. When silence was restored, the teacher smiled knowingly at the student, shook her head and sweetly said, ‘Well, I guess you’d have to write the exam with your other hand.’
He’s not long for that world. I agree with basically everything he said, except the implication, perhaps, that the Right shouldn’t be quite as pissed off at Obama as we are. Fear breeds anger, and the fucker scares me for all the reasons listed plus many more. I think we have truly (and litterally) dodged a bullet with the Blue Dog Democrats refusing to back any new gun control. I think without that we’d have been facing a new, stricter (and permanent) ban on so-called “assault weapons”. That we haven’t is a true credit to them and one indicator about the depth of loathing for such a law among the electorate in general (gun control is, if anything, less popular than gay marriage. If we didn’t already have keep and bear arms provisions in the Federal, and most State’s, Constitution we would be seeing a movement to pass such things).
With Nancy Pelosi and the House Democrats unveiling their 1,990 page health care reform bill – it made us wonder about other landmark pieces of legislation in U.S. history and how long they were.
* The original draft of the 1935 Economic Security Act, which established the Social Security Administration was 64 pages
* The Civil Rights Act of 1964 – forbidding discrimination based on race and sex: 8 pages
* The 19th amendment to the Constitution, giving Women the right to vote in 1920: 1 page
* The Emancipation Proclamation, with which Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves in 1863: 5 pages
* Or, if you really want to get back to basics: The Declaration of independence came in at 1 page in 1776
Tort reform is not allowed in this abomination of a one thousand nine hundred and ninety page (before amendments) bill full of deliberately over-confusing legal mumbo-jumbo. We know not a single one of our Congressbastards are going to read the whole thing before the vote, even the conservative ones. And who can blame them? This thing is longer than War and Peace, and will only have a few days allowed for reading before coming up for a vote (I doubt there will be any debate, as we all know the time for that nonsense is ovah). So when Obama/Pelosi/Reid start to lose Couric, Cafferty, and the AP, a trend may be starting and the Administration just might have their hellthcare takeover plans waylayed yet. And to think it all might be because of one little fox.
It’s funny, in a sad way, how the 2nd Amendment doesn’t apply to citizens, but the 1st means that not only can ‘artists’ produce any kind of ‘art’ they want, but if we don’t subsidize it, we’re engaged in censorship.
Hasn’t one of our congresscritters submitted legislation requiring bills be posted online, so ‘We the People’ can have a chance to view it before it’s voted on? Fat chance of THAT ever getting passed. They’re SO much smarter than we are you know.
dang headache
foreigner video reminds me of 27 years ago when i went to their concert on halloween. my friend in a devils outfit was so drunk he pee’d his pants.
I have it on good authority that he’s a practicing Jew and quite knowledgeable about Torah. In my mind, that makes his bigotry even more inexcusable. I can overlook the invincible ignorance of someone who’s just congenitally moronic. But with his knowledge comes intellectual and moral responsibility. He’s peeing all over his own tradition by being a bigot.
I still have yet to see any evidence that he knows a proton from a crouton, though.
Good news! It looks like one RINO actually may care more about the future of the Party than her own skin. I don’t know the history of it, but why didn’t this get sorted out during the primaries? That is, after all, why we have them in the first place…
“I still have yet to see any evidence that he knows a proton from a crouton, though.”
Lol!!!
For someone who claims to be such a strong advocate of Science he demonstrates a closed-mindedness that says the opposite. To me he come across as a phony.
As a scientist I will give we are 90% certain that we are the only driver worth being taken into account. I give the last 90% because there is some evidence that solar variations are having a very small effect. However, no-one believes that they are the primary driver.
I repeat. 100% certain, we are the primary driver of the present trend.

I think it’s a spambot. This site is now on somebody’s radar because it’s exceeded a certain level of traffic. I think you can expect more. Spamsters never sleep.
After reading these 2 comments I got an image in my head of John Cleese in library basement, with a t-shirt that says ‘LVQ’, an old Playboy in one hand, pounding his pud with the other.
Not good to wake-up to.
(only thing is, our spam catcher has been good at catching those… too good- catching normal users sometimes. Maybe the catcher was caught up in the drinking thread and was slacking on the job)
Ah, snork, you sound just like you’re from Seattle. We have a long record of being that way. Seattle used to piss preformers off by sitting through concerts.
First (Hic)
Guess I’m drinking alone. Oh well, more rum tarantulas for me.

Mmmmmm
Irish whiskey.
I’ll need to hit the liquor store for another bottle. 2 with just a bit left that I need to pass on to a fellow fan of the Irish.
re: #3 by Speranza
“Thousands of good folks”? On LGF? Has ANY thread hit 1,000, let alone comments from 1,000 different people? Or even 500 different people? Recently, I mean.

Hey Hoops, life is fixing to kick you in the ass. Within the next year, the least of your worries will be how mean the world is to CJ.
Currently into my second bottle for the night, a 2005 Berringer Reserve Cab.

re: #3 by Speranza
Thousands of good folks?
Thousands?
Dang. I thought we were just trash-talking a tiny handful.
re: #3 by Speranza
Yeah, if you check the Internet Hall of Fame’s list of greatest contributors, the first two winners are:
1. Al Gore – For his invention of the Internet.
2. Charles Johnson – He gave people a voice on the Internet.
/do I gotta?
We’re so mean to Charles???? Is she high????
Guess they didn’t didn’t notice him calling us fascists, ridiculing people, trashing people by guilt by association, outing people’s names, pissing on peoples beliefs …etc etc
While some people may have asked for what they got, the large majority were unfairly maligned by CJ for having the audacity to disagree with him or visit a site he didn’t approve of
That’s the fact, play the victim card all you want but it is an outright lie to claim CJ is the “victim”…
He is the jackass who decided to attack, real and imagined “enemies”
cry me a river Sharm

500 people? Try 25 if he’s lucky. The front page links….of 25, 14 are linked by Thanos and 6 by EE…Just one of those many things that makes you go hmmmmmm.
His ever so innovative Creationist/Darwin post has been up since 6:51PDT. There are 64 comments…that’s a serious lack of lizards.
re: #12 by Rubber Soul
What you said.
re: #12 by Rubber Soul
No kidding!
You don’t suppose he has been transformed into Ludwig?!!!
re: #9 by typicalwhitey
WAAAHHHH… The Whining of the Blue Falcon…. How rare, dramatic, melodious and… irrelevant. (Ka-KAWWWWW! Ka-KAWWWWWW!)
Find out, at your leisure, what a “blue falcon” means, in the Army. Then laugh, and enjoy our idiots.
Just for the record…
I’m not angry. I’m appalled.
re: #17 by wolfie
Dammit!
It is LudSQUID!!
LUDSQUID I tell ya!!
I just finished watching the entire “Caine Mutiny”. Now I think I understand what Ed was saying about the Lt. Keefer character at 1.0.

No. Ludsquid needs to be taken with a grain of salt. A very large grain.
Funny! That old saying comes to mind…. if you can dish it, then be ready to take it.
Words? Speeches? One arrogant asshole cons his way into the WH and causes others to war with each other. He (and the P) isn’t worth it.

LOL I forgot about the cry of “threats” all the time. Does anyone even know his address?
Oh, lordy. Put your drink down before you read this.

Oh well, either way…this is fun!
re: #31 by snork
Makes sense to me. Iowahawk is a fascist-sympathizer.
That wingnut Hoffman is posing in front of a Chevrolet. A red chevrolet. Did you know that a red chevron appears on the crest of the arms of the Duke of Norfolk, whose daughter married a man who went to the same university as Alain Benoist, one of whose books was actually purchased by a leader of Vlaams Belang?
AHA!
re: #39 by Cheesehead
how much for the upgrade?
re: #23 by typicalwhitey
What makes that doubly funny is that people here will remember back to when 1.0 was sane and KOS was the swamp. In those days, there was a KOS-kiddie who posted under the nick “kestrel”. Kestrel was pretty full of himself as being angry and whose apellation was a vicious bird. Turned out that kestrels are really pretty small wimpy birds as hawks go. Now 1.0 is acting that way
re: #42 by AZfederalist
I remember kestrel
He could post on Kos a diary entitled…pictures of my belly button lint…and he would be on the top ten list.
Guy made me sick, full of himself like squid is.
re: #39 by Cheesehead
looking forward to the game this weekend?
re: #30 by teacake
2 parts Tarantula Azul margarita mix
1 part dark rum
shaken and poured in a martini glass
Tequila is ok but a good rum is smoother and more to my liking.
Oy.
re: #45 by Bordm
Tarantula Azul margarita mix? Never heard of that but it sounds so exotic. I had hot saki tonight only because the one choice of red wine at my local dive…. is nasty.
re: #46 by snork
LOL! Peter Pan?
re: #45 by Bordm
Ooooh. That sounds nice.
Will have to see if I can find some Tarantula Azul margarita mix around these parts.
Stink-bug moonshine mix maybe.

I’ll start. I miss Cheney.

re: #52 by IslandLibertarian
I do to.
He reminded me of my Dad.

I miss Bolton!
re: #18 by PrincessNatasha

night all
BTW…please pray for my grandson, if you are so inclined.
re: #57 by teacake
Favre-a purple loving freak that used to bleed green & gold. Shit, I still love the guy, just not this year and not until he retires as a Packer-as he should, someday.
re: #59 by wolfie
Hhahaha Wolfie! Even back in the day before all the banishments he now and then posted so much drama about being threatened… and I often wondered back then, how can someone threaten you if when they have no idea where your physical body resides. Guess he was a loon then, just didn’t notice.
re: #64 by Cheesehead
Football?
Purple green gold is New Orleans colors. WTF?
re: #63 by typicalwhitey

re: #67 by Cheesehead

re: #66 by teacake
Now ur messing wit me! You know who I’m talking ’bout.
re: #69 by Cheesehead
What? LOL I’m confused. The name is sounding familiar… Bret? Is he with the Saints?
re: #47 by teacake
Look for it in the mixer section of a liquor store or supermarket. It’s a blue mix normally found in the tequila section down here. The rum cuts the citrus and makes for a very smooth drink.
I didn’t drink much until my heart was broken and my soul was crushed… I’ve got a beer gut now. Didn’t take long, dammit.
Time for George Noory… nite all…. (go Saints!)From what I hear, they have never made it to the play offs.
re: #52 by IslandLibertarian
Modern history: I miss Reagan, William F Buckley Jr, Margaret Thatcher, and Supreme Court Justice William Rehnquist.
Historical — We need more people like Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, John Hancock, and Patrick Henry and less people like William Jefferson Clinton, George Stephanopoulis, John Stewart, or Duval Patrick.
re: #72 by teacake
ab crushes, every morning. 125 of them. beer gut or not, at least those abs under the gut will be strong!
re: #74 by AZfederalist
I believe the reason Cheney was so hated by the progressives is because he spoke directly, with authority, and from a moral position. The “If it feels good, do it!” types could not take the heat. So, they made him into the Dark Lord.
This country needs a father figure fast. The “0″(pronounced zero) only offers a metrosexualized role model.
re: #76 by IslandLibertarian

Quotations from Professor Ludwig
#60 in thread “Inhofe, the last Flat Earther” on the subject of true science:
In other words, look at the evidence and when you see the data and the analysis, you can immediately see the truth, and have no more need for “beliefs”.
Not stated, but so strongly implied – look at my evidence, my data, my analysis.
And in #70 he goes on to lament that it is no use to cast facts and evidence before swine:
A little further along at #105 he brings down a tablet from the mountain with his 3 commandments on it which he then proceeds to slam down over the heads of anyone who would dare question his data and analysis.
At #179 (my bold)
And the beat goes on.
This guy deserves a cartoon of his very own.
re: #53 by Cheesehead
Well, be careful with them. I can’t help myself…I just love the guy. I love watching him play. I love when he gets excited like a little kid like he’s done something great for the first time, I love when he gets pissed at himself…because he cares. Not enough players love the game anymore, it’s all about the money. Favre was lucky, he’s got both.
re: #80 by Whippet
You have a great perspective. Mine is alittle different. We had him for 16 years; lived and died by Brett. I still love the guy-as a someone who took my Packers to the Super Bowl, twice. And, as an all-around-great ball player.
He’s among the best there ever is/was.
BUT, he’s playing against my Packers and wants to defeat them. For that, I hope he FAILS and and has the worst game of his career.
As much as I love to watch him plsy, I’m hoping to see him flat on his back as often as possible!
Go Pack!
Good Morning!
What a perfect thread for me, party`s over, dishes in the machine, I`m 3 kites to the wind and I`m still dressed as a greek Goddess…

re: #82 by Lolly Gator
Hi Lolly
Wish I could say I’ve been having so much fun. Gotta bad cold, feel hot and breathing is uncomfortable. And this weekend the time changes back to Eastern Standard.
re: #84 by Moe Katz
Swine…I mean H1N1 possibility?
re: #85 by Cheesehead
I doubt it. This is acting like a classic cold. Sinuses and bronchi are kind of uncomfortable, that’s all, and I felt feverish in the gym tonight.
re: #84 by Moe Katz
I`m so sorry to hear that Moe…
Have you been to the Dr.`s, don`t wait too long, lot of Pnumonia (sp…little bit drunk) goin` around!
Look after yourself O.K!!!
re: #87 by Lolly Gator
Just was at the doctor’s for a few minor things but I don’t normally go for sore throats and the like. I don’t think there’s a heck of a lot they can do, really. I’m just thirsty all the time, I put a thermos of water on the bedroom window sill to keep slaking my parched throat.
re: #86 by Moe Katz
Had the same miserable 3 day rhinovirus couple of weeks ago. Lasts 3-5 days. From what my co-workers say-their children are the only ones getting the H1N1 crap.
re: #86 by Moe Katz
Had you only listened to Rush…;)
re: #89 by Cheesehead
I guess I can look forward to another couple of days before this moderates, then. I’m so pleased with my training, and I’m frustrated to have to stop. After a decade or so of marginally high BP I’ve got it down into a fully normal range just through diet and exercise.
re: #88 by Moe Katz
Been there before myself…
Look after yourself, stay warm and dry!
Bed rest and liquids are still the best cure.
Sure can bring on the myseries though!
re: #90 by Bunk X
“Had you only listened to Rush…;)”
Well I’ve just succeeded in getting my BP into a fully normal range, typically 127/78 or the like—no drugs, just good eating and running. Listening to Rush might be a mistake.
re: #92 by Lolly Gator
You’re right! But I got compulsive, was running around in the slush to go to the gym and back all last week (car in body shop). Now I’m paying, I guess.
re: #79 by 2soonold2latesmart
I was following that thread today. LVAsshat is a one trick cornhole. When someone brings facts to his lunchbox, he denigrates the author; but when he brings up questionable data, it’s empirically correct. wottadick.
http://www.montrealgazette.com/news/teacher+cleared+charges/2165482/story.html
Here’s a teacher acquitted of 34 charges of sexual touching of girl students—17 accusers. One does wonder….
re: #93 by Moe Katz
Rush advertises for a nasal spray. Can’t remember the name of it. That’s what I was referring to.
re: #94 by Moe Katz
You did get impulsive didn`t you?
Canadians should never run in the slush…
We get sick every time!
re: #97 by Bunk X
Ah. I had no idea.
re: #98 by Lolly Gator
It’s prolly genetic. I used to get poison ivy just by looking at it.
re: #91 by Moe Katz
Sounds like you know what the Doctor orders. Take care and shalom aleichem friend.
I’m departing these parts-there’s a GAME tomorrow folks!
Peace & good things to all……..
re: #98 by Lolly Gator
I’ve been eating to little, too. Should know better. But I’ve gotten my BP down to normal for my 59th b’day, so that’s something to celebrate. No drugs or whatever, just diet and fitness.
re: #99 by Moe Katz
It obviously made an impression on me because I don’t recall the product name.

Goodnight, and Shalom. Enjoy your game!

Really am sorry to hear your sick Moe
Hope Your feeling better in the morning ….

They say a lot of commercials are like that. The cleverer they are the more you think of the commercial and the less you remember the product name.

re: #106 by Moe Katz
I can see how that would work. If I got sick the first thing I would look for is the stuff I can’t remember the name of. The second thing I would look for is Jack Daniels. The third thing would be a shot glass.
Hope you get over your plague.
re: #110 by Bunk X
I`ve had more than my share of shots tonight…
Hope it has killed all the germs, after all, why drink for no reason!
re: #108 by Lolly Gator
The only thing good about getting poison ivy is the indescribable feeling you get pouring steaming hot water over the rash.
It’s better than Q-tips swabbing your ear canal.

re: #125 by Rodan
Nah, era difference. We danced, just never admitted to it.

re: #131 by Rodan
46 degrees F at this moment, high tomorrow 59. But that’s a heat wave around here.
re: #132 by Moe Katz
It is a Latin Thing. By Latin I mean Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Latin American, Filipino and HGreek.
The term Latino is actually a Progressive mock of what we are.
Latino is the the Spanish/Italian/Portuguese term.
The Left uses Latino to imply we can’t speak English.
re: #132 by Moe Katz
Nope. I’m married to one. She dances in the kitchen and the bedroom, and I’ve got nothing to brag about.

We`ve been lucky so far, it was 60 here today, that was with drizzle of course!

Gotcha. Latin, then.

How are you otherwise? I see you hold the Night fort down. Do you work at night?

re: #139 by Lolly Gator
Where are you?
re: #137 by Rodan
Latin was a language, not a pueblo.
I’m thinking of opening a Bottle of wine. The economy is really bad. The bar I was at wasn’t like it’s usually been. Normally it’s packed out but not tonight.

Nominations for the Bloggyies are starting up on 2 November, too.
I suggest that each post include a .jpg image, whether related to the post or not, just for eyecandy.
Thoughts? Or are you still dancing? =)

It probably was LGF, well I turned it off.
I notice LGF ignored us for a few weeks now they are attacking again. The Progressives must be nervous.

re: #190 by Zimriel
It’s a Far Left Anti-Christian Progressive website. They even are attacking Halliburton now over there.
re: #187 by Rodan
They’ve been in this country for a long time, under different names and guises. They gained a lot of power in the 1800’s, and in the early 1920’s, the communist party had a strong foothold. Their popularity has always been underground, and up to and including the 1950’s, they had the potential to be a credible 3rd party.
Communism has always been an underground movement, because no one in his right mind would vote for it.
Except for violent overthrow of an incumbent government, the only way communism succeeds is step by step, quietly, and that’s what they’ve been doing for decades.
I should know better than to throw out the Eliot on a drinking thread, it’s an instant downer. Almost as bad as Yeats. But then… it is Hallowe’en.

Hey, Bat. Nice to see the late shift showing up.
Hi, Bunk!
re: #199 by BatGuano
If you walked away, you didn’t get the stick. If you spoke your mind and got ousted, it wasn’t self-inflicted.
I still lurk over… there. The conversations are mostly inane, until someone speaks up against the groupthink, and that’s fun to watch, all the thrashin’ and spittin’ and name callin’.
I’ve seen some of it here, but very little, and for the most part it’s civil.
re: #202 by Bunk X
Here there are some disagreements but it’s not personal.
re: #203 by Rodan
That’s exactly right, and exactly how it should be! The handful of tiffs that I’ve seen were mostly about misunderstandings of the poster’s intentions, and where there were disagreements in philosophies the fights ended in cordial detente.
I’ve seen no “Piling On” bullying here, either (except for when Moe goes on a snarky baiting binge, but that’s Moe, and he plays a fun game).
Hope the night shift is up, I gotta go. G’nite folks.

If that makes me an 0DS sufferer, so be it.
I am here too. Good Morning and Happy Halloween Pod People!

SMART ASS ANSWER #6
It was mealtime during an airline flight. ‘Would you like dinner?’ the flight attendant asked John, seated in front. ‘What are my choices?’ John asked. ‘Yes or no,’ she replied.
SMART ASS ANSWER #5
A flight attendant was stationed at the departure gate to check tickets. As a man approached, she extended her hand for the ticket and he opened his trench coat and flashed her. Without missing a beat, she said, ‘Sir, I need to see your ticket, not your stub.’
SMART ASS ANSWER #4
A lady was picking through the frozen turkeys at the grocery store but she couldn’t find one big enough for her family. She asked a stock boy, ‘Do these turkeys get any bigger? ‘the stock boy replied, ‘No ma’am, they’re dead.’
SMART ASS ANSWER #3
The police officer got out of his car as the kid who was stopped for speeding rolled down his window ‘I’ve been waiting for you all day,’ the officer said. The kid replied, ‘Yeah, well I got here as fast as I could.’ When the cop finally stopped laughing, he sent the kid on his way without a ticket.
SMART ASS ANSWER #2
A truck driver was driving along on the freeway and noticed a sign that read: Low Bridge Ahead. Before he knows it, the bridge is right in front of him and his truck gets wedged under it. Cars are backed up for miles. Finally a police car comes up. The cop gets out of his car and walks to the truck driver, puts his hands on his hips and says, ‘Got stuck, huh?’ The truck driver says, ‘No, I was delivering this bridge and I ran out of fuel!
What did Hoover, Truman, and Eisenhower have in common?
Here is something that should be of great interest for you to pass around.
I didn’t know of this until it was pointed out to me.
Back during The Great Depression, President Herbert Hoover ordered the
deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American
citizens that desperately needed work.
Harry Truman deported over two million Illegal’s after WWII to create jobs
for returning veterans.
And then again in 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million
Mexican Nationals! The program was called ‘Operation Wetback’. It was done so WWII and Korean Veterans would have a better chance at jobs.
It took 2 Years, but they deported them!
Now…if they could deport the illegal’s back then – they could sure do it today?
lf you have doubts about the veracity of this information,
enter ‘Operation Wetback’, into your favorite search engine and confirm it for yourself.
Reminder: Don’t forget to pay your taxes…
12 million Illegal Aliens are depending on you!

re: #262 by Speranza

Paging Bite Me! Paging Bite Me! Telephone call at #79.
Ecen CNN’s idiot moonbat asshole Jack Cafferty hops off the Obama HellthCare Reform Love Train.
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2009/10/30/cafferty-64-pages-to-create-social-security-why-2000-to-reform-health-care/
And to think it all might be because of one little fox.
re: #274 by Iron Fist
It’s funny, in a sad way, how the 2nd Amendment doesn’t apply to citizens, but the 1st means that not only can ‘artists’ produce any kind of ‘art’ they want, but if we don’t subsidize it, we’re engaged in censorship.
re: #277 by RickZ
Hasn’t one of our congresscritters submitted legislation requiring bills be posted online, so ‘We the People’ can have a chance to view it before it’s voted on? Fat chance of THAT ever getting passed. They’re SO much smarter than we are you know.
