GRRRR!

Obama offers millions in Muslim technology fund

The White House Friday highlighted a new multi-million-dollar technology fund for Muslim nations, following a pledge made by President Barack Obama in his landmark speech to the Islamic world.
The White House said the US Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) had issued a call for proposals for the fund, which will provide financing of between 25 and 150 million dollars for selected projects and funds.

The Global Technology and Innovation Fund will “catalyze and facilitate private sector investments” throughout Asia, the Middle East and Africa, the White House said in a statement.

Eligible projects would advance economic opportunity and create jobs in areas like technology, education, telecoms, media, business services and clean technology, the White House said.

Shouldn’t he be more worried about the ability to create jobs HERE?

Well, Obama did proclaim “my Muslim faith” during an inattentive moment when he was being interviewed by George Stephanopolis, just before the election. And anyone who read the text of his Cairo speech shouldn’t be surprised. Disgusted, but not surprised.

Shouldn’t he be more worried about the ability to create jobs HERE?

The last thing Obama and Co. want is for Americans to enjoy stable, high-paying jobs here at home.

People with economic security are people who are not easily panicked and are people who tend to vote to maintain that stability – meaning they vote against higher taxes, more spending, etc.

Conversely, people who are down on their luck, out of a job, the unemployment’s run dry, and are desperate are people who will vote for any economic balderdash, so long as it’s packaged as “helping” them.

Obama WANTS people poor, unemployed, and scared. That way he can control and manipulate them.

Obama gets an F in American History, then. If he studied the late 18th, the 19th and early 20th centuries, he’d know that where there is high unemployment, shifting economic circumstances, general uncertainty, and suspicion about the governments motives, there frequently follows unrest, riots, violence and upheavals of all sorts. Even the thirties, which O is trashing the country to re-create, were, contrary to what he believes, at time of great unrest and violence. Even then people did not sit around placidly accepting handouts from the New Dealers. If I were Obama or his handlers, I would start listening for the sound of the tumbrils rolling.

I want to comment on the comments made by the denizens of 1.0 re: jumpinginponds blog.

First off, I find it offending that “those people” would stoop to such a level. I also find it disgusting that Charles Johnson will not even apologize for this action. Cato the Elder, one would hope that you have enough class to realize you stepped over the line, and apologize. Sorry, but the excuses that your minions are resorting to in regards to this, shows that your blog has become nothing more than a residence for cruel, unthinking drivel. Our culture is judged by how we treat the less fortunate of our people. Charles, you, Cato, Killgore, Rose, Sharmuta, et. al. have failed miserably. Failed in that you allowed this post to remain, failed that you did not apologize for the post, failed in that you continued to make light of this.
How about it Charles, have some balls, swallow your pride, and admit that this comment/post was over the edge.

He will be destroyed by his own mission then. He will go the way of Nixon, but it will not take 6 whole years for his opponents to grease the skids. And like Nixon, he will spend the rest of his life trying to figure out who were the members of the cabal who “got” him. As we know now, it isn’t necessarily a known opponent that can help do you in, it is often the obscure functionary with a grudge that can start the process — i.e. FBI wipeout Felt (Deep Throat), or Monica Lewinsky confiding how badly her feelings were hurt by “The Big Creep.”

    Interesting reading.

    FORWARD TO ALL YOU CAN

Everyone of voting age should read these two Barack Obama books. You don’t have to buy them, get them from the library before they are removed from the shelves.

    From Dreams of My Father:

‘I ceased to advertise my mother’s race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.’ From Dreams of My Father :

‘I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother’s race.’ From Dreams of My Father:

‘There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.’ From Dreams of My Father:

‘It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.’ From Dreams of My Father:

‘I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn’t speak to my own. It was into my father’s image, the black man, son of Africa, that I’d packed all the attributes I sought in myself: the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.’

And FINALLY, From Audacity of Hope: ‘I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.’

If you have never forwarded an e-mail, now is the time to do so!!!

How many $ TRILLIONS in petro dollars have we pumped into the Middle East, and what have they done with it? It’s been funneled into the coffers of a select few who never saw any need to use it to upgrade their society. To this day, they can’t even manufacture a paper clip, and they can’t even get the oil out of the ground without Western technology.

They have had all of the resources imaginable, yet the select few with the wealth have chosen to expend those resources on ostentatious displays of personal indulgence.

Those petro dollars are directly responsible for the deaths of 3,000 Americans on 9/11 as well as all of the Americans lost in protecting them from the monsters that THEY created.

    THEY OWE US!!!!

The thought of The U.S. spending OUR money in the betterment of their lot is infuriating beyond my ability of expression.

Let the Mohammedans deal with the ignorant, poverty stricken masses that they created, and whenever and whereever they threaten our way of life, let them be exterminated.

This isnt about helping Muslims learn to use technology, it’s about draining America financially. Muslims dont want to understand technology, they want their slaves (that would be those of us who are not Muslim) to understand technology and use that technology to give them the lavish lifestyles of leisure that they believe are their Allah given right.

The stimulus money being spent to train hairstylists to craft a French braid is administered through Pell Grants to area vocational training facilities. Several beauty schools have received between $250,000 and $1 million in public money to help cover tuition that can run up to $12,000 a year — more than tuition to attend the University of Florida for a year.

Never mind that even professionals in the hairstyling business say there are few job opportunities. In determining how to allocate stimulus dollars, the federal government inexplicably does not conduct an assessment on which job skills are in demand and focus on funding training in those in more needy areas. How shortsighted. How wasteful. How mystifying

So here’s a recipe I’m trying out. Aldi sells jars of garlic cloves pickled with herbs and pepeprs in oil and quite apart from the fact that the garlic is awesome in just about anything – the pickling takes off that stinky edge but leaves behind enough flavour to make them great in salads, for instance – the oil itself has this wonderful flavour and aroma. So I keep it, and now I’m trying something with it. I’ve had chicken breast fillet soaking in the oil since this morning (it’s 6:05pm now). I’ve laid them out on a bed of chopped mange tout, whole sugar snap peas, baby sweetcorn and sliced bell peppers of all shades, with the remainder of the oil poured over the top, and then grated mature chedar spread over the top. Along with that I’ve got these bigish mushrooms stuffed with hot peppers, garlic and more mature cheddar cheese. Spaghetti on which to serve. It’s all cooking up at the moment, I’ll let you know how it tastes.

Should go well with a nice Riesling, which I forgot to put in the fridge… bugger.

To amplify on that, he slandered creationists, while making one of the most inept cases for evolution in education out there. It wasn’t original and promoted the fallacy that evolution indicates the non-existence of anything spiritual.

I’m one who wants no theology in science classrooms. Banana Brain and Dawkins want their personal theologies taught as science, which they are not.

Which is another side point: he’s not even good at making his point. My “thing” that I follow is the climate issue, and I assure you, there are alarmists out there who are a lot more knowledgeable and persuasive than him and LVQ. He can’t even cite realclimate in a persuasive way, because he doesn’t understand what they’re saying, and LVQ doesn’t, either.

I think this is probably par for the course across the board there. I think the real evolutionists cringe when he mangles their case and their science the way he does. As I said, I don’t care one way or the other, but if I did want to persuade people that evolution was right and righteous, I certainly wouldn’t be doing it that way.

Success! The chicken came out just about perfect despite a few little cock-ups along the way. I stuck the reisling in the freezer and got it just cool enough to work.

My wife doesn’t normally like chicken but she loved this. LOVED it. Called it the best thing she’d ever tasted and wanted to know why I’m not running a restaurant. I’m tempted, but dad used to run one of those places and I know how crap the hours are.

    Who does this sound like?

Political movements always have extremists — bitterly partisan true believers who attack anybody they feel threatens their movement. I’m sure you know the type, because his main talent is making himself heard. He doesn’t bother with making thoughtful arguments; instead, his technique is about shrill attacks in all directions, throwing a lot of issues up and hoping that one will stick or that the audience becomes confused by the chaos.

Sadly, it probably already is to late. It was to late when the Democrats/Communist overlords silenced Sen. McCarthy, nothing short of the hearings he attempted to hold on un-American activities is going to save our republic.

We are headed for a civil war as sure as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west and the country we will have afterwords isnt going to be the same one we grew up in.

the california wines are on par with anytning from anywhere else. i prefer clos du bois merlots and cabs…cant go wrong there.

I wouldn’t exactly say I’m up for it, the consequences are going to be very far reaching indeed. In fact I am rather afraid of a civil war, I just cant see any other future for America. The Liberal/Socialist/Communist traitors amongst us have made it inevitable.

The advantage the Progressives have in a Civil War scenario is that they will have foreign assistance. Although initially they will be outgunned, they count on help from Venezuela and the Islamic Countries. The Jihadists would come in through Canada in droves. In the end they would lose.

In a 2nd Civil War, Ironically the best foreign ally the Right can have is Russia. Putin is not a fan of Progressives. So that might be our foreign sponsor. I say Civil War 2 lasts 5 years with a Progressive defeat. But this nation will never be the same.

Oh dont get me wrong, I will fight for my country when it comes to it. I just understand that the cost is going to be very very brutal. People who have been brainwashed into thinking socialism is as American as Baseball and Apple pie are going to get hurt (and so are a lot of genuine patriotic Americans).

It’s not their fault that they were brainwashed, evil people with bad intentions have done this. And those people will hide behind what are in reality otherwise good Americans. Like the original first American civil war, the casualties will all be Americans.

Worst of all, those who are genuinely responsible will most likely escape the consequences of what they have set in motion, they wont do any of the actual fighting, they will deceive others into doing it.

In the end those who are really guilty will either remain in a shadowy hiding place (with nobody knowing who they are) or escape with a shit load of cash.

I wish I could be that optimistic, personally I think we’re going to entirely on our own, the US Military will probably be on our side, but even that is questionable in my opinion, they may elect to sit it out and wait to see who wins.

All I can figure out is he wants to be on the winning side because he knows what proggers are capable of when they gain absolute power.

He knows if the right regains some power and returns the country to sanity as the left is thwarted there will be no great purges, however if the left gets all it wants their will be pyres.
