Good morning Blogmocracy Netizens! I hope everyone is well, I am under the weather a bit which is why I have not been posting much. As usual I have to bring grim news of the antics of our Progressives leaders.
Our Radical Totalitarian Progressive president Barack Hussein Obama, lied during the 2008 campaign. He discussed how important Afghanistan was and that he would do what it takes to win. After approving an initial increase earlier this year, the situation is deteriorating. The Taliban is on the offensive and they are taking advantage of the new Rules of Engagement Obama imposed this year. Obama also is dragging out his decision whether to approve Gen. McChrystal’s request for more troops. While all this is happening ,our troops are dying and their frustration is rising.
WASHINGTON — Only nine months ago, the Pentagon pronounced itself reassured by the early steps of a new commander in chief. President Obama was moving slowly on an American withdrawal from Iraq, had retained former President George W. Bush’s defense secretary and, in a gesture much noticed, had executed his first military salute with crisp precision.
But now, after nearly a month of deliberations by Mr. Obama over whether to send more American troops to Afghanistan, frustrations and anxiety are on the rise within the military.
A number of active duty and retired senior officers say there is concern that the president is moving too slowly, is revisiting a war strategy he announced in March and is unduly influenced by political advisers in the Situation Room.
Obama promised victory and that he would take the advise of the generals. Clearly this is not the case and our soldiers are suffering because of his indecision. They are fighting with little Air or Artillery support. They are unsure if their Commander in Chief supports them.
Obama lied and people have died!

Afghanistan is a tar baby
First.
Yeah like it was a surprise to us that “Progressives” hate America, Hate the Military, and want us to lose.
He has to bloody the troops first to raise a public outcry. This must occur first before he can pull them out and be the calm descerning hero that saved the Nation from further suffering.
Its the Demcong way
Well, what are you doing under that?? Get out from under there! Secret to getting well: hot toddies and rest!
Back on topic, you can’t really expect him to wage an effective war over there when he’s got enemies here at home, dontcha know. That evil Fox News has to take priority. Shades of tricky Dick…
Seriously, I’m very discouraged so I can only imagine how the troops must feel.
re: #5 by merimac
Well Obama lied and people died!
The Progressives used to use that against Bush. Let’s use it on Obama!
re: #4 by Scott Madsen
Demcong—I like that
Surely the zero has had plenty of time to come up with a comprehensive exit strategy, complete with milestones.
Waiting for the drive-bys to let us hear it any day now.

Another Israeli spy.
Yeah only problem with that headline you asshole. It wasn’t the Israelis who approached him. It was the FBI. But nice try
I never bought the Obama ‘War of Necessity” meme during the Campaign. It was nothing but a club to whack Bush with over Iraq.
The right thing is to give his General the Number of troops that he is requesting.
If he won’t do that , then withdraw. The worst strategy is to continue the way we are,
our troops are outgunned & dying.
If I had a kid there I would be really pissed.
I believe I’ve also been reading that Gates went off the reservation in the last couple of days.
He must be slapped and tickled for that, or minimally have someone in the administration say that Gates is ‘not a real Defense Secretary’ (a la Fox news).
Didn’t know he was an independent thinker that way.
Oh…good morning all. Have to go feed the dogs.
a great article by Hugh Fitzgerald at Jihad watch.
Fitzgerald: Building That Bridge Over The River Kwai, Or, Why Are We In Afghanistan?
The very idea that because Al Qaeda was based in Afghanistan, Afghanistan has a special, irreplaceable importance in the “war against terrorism,” is false.

When he called A-stan the good war or whatever I knew he was BSing. Hes looking for a way out that will not mark him up and our military be damned.

‘Syria will only accept Turkey as mediator in Israel talks’
By Jack Khoury, Haaretz Correspondent, and Haaretz Service

Advisers to Turkey’s prime minister have said that Syria would only accept their country as a mediator in peace talks with Israel, after Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu recently voiced doubts that Ankara could continue in the role.

It drives me crazy that they are being so misused.
They are trained to be aggresive & put out superior fire power. Obama uses them as unimprtant pawns.

Afghanistan is not a tar baby, it is the same war that was being fought in Iraq. It is the same war the Russians are fighting against the Chechans. It is the same war the peaceful bhuddists are fighting in Indonesia, and Malaysia. The Philipinos are embroiled in it. The Israelis have been on the wars front line since 1948, and received little thanks from the free people of the world. I’ll say one more thing. We had better wake up soon and see who the enemy really is, and we had better defeat him. This enemy is ruthless and cruel.

Senior military officers, the analyst said, “are smart guys, but they do not have the daily pulse of the American public in their face. They tend to interpret politicians who give voice to it as being weak, but none of this works if the public gives up on it.”——-

We need to break thier will to fight..but moreover, we need to use the same principles for who we vote into offie.
I’d stopped posting long ago when CJ deleted my post about the Apollo 8 astronauts Christmas Eve reading Genesis.
In the beginning God
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was[a] on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.
6 Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” 7 Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. 8 And God called the firmament Heaven. So the evening and the morning were the second day.
9 Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so. 10 And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good.
God bless us, everyone.

daughter of patriots This ties into what flyovercountry was talking about.
The reason Iran needs to be neutered is because they cannot be allowed to form that hub of evil.
No Arab country wants it..but they also know they can be compelled by a powerful Iran. Obama killed the most recent chance of doing Iran in when he sided with the mullahs over the people in hopes the mullahs would give over the nukes. But Mullahs lie even more than Obama does and now we are holding the shit end of the stick.

Zero wanted to appear strong and patriotic and make Pres Bush look foolish.
I never bought the notion that Zero thought Afgoneeston was a righteous war. He hates the U.S. military.
It is a force for evil around the world to him because America is such an ‘imperialistic nation’ and could never be fighting anywhere in the world except to needlessly crush others. Forget about WW2 and the fact that most people in the world would be under the filthy boot of the Nazis but for the United States.
These aggressive jackals trying to destroy this blessed country can be stopped. Their behavior is so counter to what decent people think. They are their own worst enemies.

Cabinet concludes meeting without discussing Gaza probe

The Security Cabinet has wrapped up a debate on Israel’s alignment against foreign criticism without discussing the possibility of forming an inquiry committee to probe Operation Cast Lead in Gaza.
The option was not placed on the table due to objections by Defense Minister Ehud Barak. (Roni Sofer)

Good morning to all. The O is going to take this country down. It has been over 50 days since he was asked for more troops. Now he has the excuse of the faulty elections. Even John Kerry agreed with him! And we all know how savvy Mr. Kerry is.
The O is weak. That is why he is choosing to fight with Fox News. He can’t be bothered to understand the conditions for our soldiers in A-stan so he just lets his attack dogs go after a news organization.
Maybe someone should tell him that more soldiers are dying because he is at the “decision period”.
This pres has been the biggest crybaby I have ever seen. I don’t know why he won’t lead or why he does not appreciate the greatness of our country.
re: #61 by Carolina Girl
Isn’t Media Matters a Soros funded operation? and if so, why even bother sourcing it? If he is funding it, I’m sure the directive is “Report anything to take down the Imperialist America”.
Caroline…
Yer right, he was mocking Katherine Sillybitch, ‘Oh the ‘chilren’. She didn’t give a rats ass when Tiller was committing ‘chilren’ murder.
From what I can gather 5,000ish people world wide have died from H1N1.
The normal flu kills 250,00 – 500,000 annually.
It appears 477 people have died in the US from H1N1, the US typically has about 36,000 people die just from the normal flu.
The numbers clearly suggest we are in a media run panic attack.
OK, off to work. Have a great day folks.

Well, if the war is about oil, we did it wrong. Of course, charlie doesn’t let facts get in the way anymore. Here is another fact, we have enough oil here, that we actually don’t need their stinkin oil. Our proven reserves, (which the liberal whackos have put off limits,) make the entire middle east look like a drop in the perverbial bucket. We need to seriously get rid of every libtard in the country. This war is about not all of us having to make the choice between death and conversion to Islam. Personally, I would never convert, but there are plenty who will.

I postulated back in the swamp, of course without any links, that Obama is a tool of someone or some group whose purpose is to take the country down. So along those lines he is leading and being most successful at it. The unprecedented attack on Fox News for having both sides of issues is the final straw really. Regarding FOX News, I believe the opposite to be true. The more the White House attacks Fox, the stronger they’ll be. Even some members of the MSM have rose up in defense of FOX. They see the writing on the wall when it comes to journalistic freedom.
Considering FOX’s ratings are already as strong as they are, any continued attack on them by the WH will surely strengthen that lead.

Tullamore’s a very light flavor/color. It’d be a tossup between it and the Black Bush. Haven’t had Tyrconnel, Kilbeggans, Powers or any of the others in a while. I just bought a bottle of Clontarf and of the Feckin’ not too long ago, and they’re not bad.

Watching Rush on his dittocam!
Regarding last thread, which I mostly missed, it is important to recognize that what Anita Dunn is bragging about is exactly what the liberal press excoriated Reagan for—controlling, very closely, the “message of the day.”
During the Reagan campaign and the Reagan presidency, the press very much complained that all they could get was “the message of the day”—that no matter what they asked, or what they were trying to follow up on, they merely got a variation on whatever the campaign’s or the presidency’s issue of the moment was.
Reagan’s campaign was, for its time, very slick in terms of advertising, though it would probably seem crude now. Obama won in very large part because he, or his handlers, learned the lessons of Reagan: project optimism; use the slickest graphics and campaign techniques available, and repeat them as often as possible; and organize and control the message that you are projecting to be able to establish brand awareness.
The party which barely remembers Reagan failed to learn all of these lessons.

Socialists, marxists and communists have no sense of humor, and most certainly lack the ability to understand satire or irony.
The REAL irony is when they say something really stupid like how much they look up to Mao, they do the back-peddle at warp speed while saying, “I was only kidding! It was a joke! It was irony! I was contrasting Mao with Mother Theresa!”
re: #151 by Pianobuff
Interesting possibility, but there exists the equal possibility that the still-unknown author way back when merely lifted phrases from Shakespeare’s works to flesh out his own pastiche.

There’s following conservative orthodoxy, then there is just making stuff up?
And can someone tell me how RS McCain is a white supremacist? I read his blog, and it’s little much, but I don’t see white supremacy. Plus even if I did, what the hell, nobody criticizes the black supremacists.

I was at a lecture last year and it so happened that Buzz Aldrin was there. He sat right in front of us. He was a very nice man, but I was taken by the size of his head, which seemed to constantly block my view.
For those who missed the opening to “Million Dollar Legs” the other day:
http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=176F498C9134524C&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&v=9MnVLMFa5CU
The entire film is on YouTube–about 1 hour long. If you like the Marx Brothers’ “Duck Soup,” you will enjoy this thoroughly.
What is all this then?

FNC repoted this morning that their viewership is up 20% since the Obama Administration started attacking.
It is disturbing though that they are trying to chill free speech.
re: #169 by Possum
nice!
re: #180 by RIX
If it wasn’t for Fox and Rush, President Wee would be home free with all of his hidden agendas. The war is just a distraction for him because it takes his attention away from what he is really trying to do. He has an agenda and it was written for him and he is following it to the letter.
AND the braindead liberal media smile gleefully because they think it’s not going to touch them.
re: #180 by RIX
Brit Hume was talking about this last night. The more obaMao attacks the more their viewership goes up. He conveyed, with glee, how Beck’s viewership has at least tripled since the attacks began. He especially enjoyed the Mao suit Beck wore to mock Dunn!

FNC & Rush are actually proving a valueble civic service, they are acting as watchdogs on the government.
The MSM has abandoned that function. I sometimes get the feeling that some of them have remorse but fear getting kicked out of the club.

re: #122 by Nevergiveup
With this statement, Charlie gives a clear view at his psyche. I don’t hate you Charlie, your sandbox just isn’t fun anymore. You kicked out everyone who openly disagreed with you. You kicked out anyone caught in the company of anyone who openly disagreed with you. You tantrumed about anyone who had been previously banned from your sandbox, banned anyone who remembered their former friends with fondness, and then claimed on numerous occasions that all of the above were out to get you and those few losers who stayed in the new conservative free insanity box. Now, you have the gual to ask why we all didn’t sand on the side of your sandbox and actually had the nerve to not beg to be allowed back in.
We all of us have a life outside of posting comments. This is a diversion for us, and your sandbox was just not fun anymore. You chose to walk down this path Charlie, take ownership for where your blog is now. I like it here at the blogmocracy just fine. You may want to consider that when you champion losers who feel the government should bail them out, they probably won’t have a lot of money to donate to the tip jar. Those of us with jobs, and self determination probably would have been able to contribute. Sooooooo Sad Charlie!
re: #125 by typicalwhitey
He has sucked off the association that his blog was “conservative” and milked it for all it was worth. Then he started booting off all the conservatives and pretty much trashing any and all things conservative.
In deranged overuse of the words, “hate,” “racist,” “white supremecist,” “far right christian,” etc. he now finds himself shocked that there is vitriol being poured on him from his erstwhile peers.
Isn’t it a betrayer who inhabits Dante’s lowest circle of Hell? No one on the left will embrace him as he seeks (he’ll only be a minion), and no one on the right will ever trust him again.
re: #180 by RIX
Liberals have always tried to stifle free speech, at least speech they disagree with. They simply cannot abide hearing anything they don’t agree with. They will go to great lengths to silence all opposition to their belief system.
Hmmm…kind of reminds me of somebody we all know and love LOL

The typical narcissist – its everyones fault but his own.
What gives me great pleasure is knowing that The Chuck, in his heart of hearts, must know what an insignificant flyspeck he has become in comparison to his arch nemesis Glenn Beck. That must really eat him up and gives me a warm and tingly feeling.
re: #199 by LGoPs
Seems to be alot of “warm, tingly feelings” occurring here lately!
Which is alot better than the “cold, slimey, creepy crawly thingies” over in that other playground.
re: #167 by Nevergiveup
That’s selrahC’s ideal poll.
The attack on Fox should scare every news outlet. The others are chuckling now but will they be when they actually disagree with the O?
They should all be screaming at the top of their lungs about suppression of free speech The O will try anything to demean conservatives.
I guess the O did learn something from his visit with Chavez. If the media says things you don’t like, just shut them down.

Pat does speak for conservatives– conservative fascists and neo-nazis. I also think he has a soft spot for inquisitors and proponents of the auto de fait.//
