And from Rodan:
Hello Blogmocracy Netizens This is the Sunday Sports thread!
Today’s big game is New Orleans Saints vs. NY Giants. This is a huge game since both teams are undefeated. Also Eli Manning played HS Football in New Orleans and his dad was QB of the Saints. This game should be awesome which is why I am going to the Sports Bar to watch it. On Local TV they are giving the Tampa-Carolina game, which sucks as both teams!
Here is a good analysis of Week 6 of the NFL season.
Here are the scores.
Enjoy the games and discuss any sports on this thread!

The insanity spectator posted a comment about redoing the LGF drinking game.
Anyone remember these?
A Drink can be a beer, a glass of wine or a shot of liquor … your choice.
You must take a drink:
1. Anytime someone posts “FIRST!”
2. Anytime Bigel posts that we should nuke Mecca and Medina, you can:
a) take a drink in disgust
b) down a drink in agreement
c) contemplatively sip your drink while thinking … that might not be a bad idea as a deterrent to threaten the Islamists that if there is another attack on US soil we’ll atomically reconfigure their religion.
3. Anytime Aisha sings the praises of wearing a burka or a hijab
4. Anytime someone says “Gordon is a troll but even like a broken clock he’s sometimes right”
5. Anytime someone (((hugs))) someone else
6. Anytime a
Troll declaresCharles proves by a comment or post that LGF is a racist cesspool for its reporting on Islamist threats, Islamist statements in the media or mosque, Islamist activities and seethings7. Anytime someone GAZEs at a Troll
8. Anytime someone tells a Troll to appropriately FOAD
9. Anytime
someone asks for a hat tipCharles rattles the tip jar10. Anytime a post or commentator states that “Islam is a Religion of Peace” (ROP or ROPMA also qualifies)
11. Anytime someone brings up the

re: #63 by snork
Charles has his own personal interpretation of racism that isn’t open for discussion. If you try and discuss it you become a racist in his eyes. his interpretation while based in some fact has expanded to cover bogeymen and also to be used as a tool to character assassinate posters he doesn’t like.
One should take calls of racism from Charles with a grain of salt. Charles allowed his integrity on racism to be diluted by his personal dislikes and political needs. He reaches into the lands of bigotry pretty often.

Witch doctor images in relation to the one can easily be perceived as racist so should be avoided at tea parties IMHO. The Obama Joker image should be fair game. Some things are just going to be off limits though, Bush as a chimp was OK but we probably shouldn’t go there with Obama. Just common sense PR. Swastikas are an image at tea parties that will be attributed to supportive fascist rednecks rather than referencing the fascism of the left, even as schools indoctrinate the Obama Youths at our schools. Hammers and Sickles are appropriate however.

re: #153 by Rancher
That’s why I said I’m staying out of the wee-wee match. It probably was motivated by racism, but unlike some people, I’m not going to go out on a limb and declare it to be an indisputable fact, and start tarring anyone who disagrees as racist.
As a general rule, Americans have had a tradition of being rough with politicians and public figures. There’s a good reason for this. If we apply the same standards to them that we do to ordinary citizens, then sooner or later all criticism will be snuffed out.
So while I’m certainly not going to congratulate the ‘artist’, I’m not going to join the dogpile, either. To do so is perilous to democracy. If 8 years of calling Bush Hitler and Cheney a mass murderer was the price we had to pay for free speech, then so is this. Otherwise, we’re making different rules for different races.
Which is exactly what Chuckles and his ilk want.
Whooo hooo, Texans got the ball back!

“I should care about his tender feelings?”
Hardly, but if the objective is to win over those who don’t really know what’s happening to America it would be prudent not to alienate those we are trying to educate. Agree with the rest of what you said though. Everyday he facilitates sending troops when his general says time is of the essence is a betrayal of our troops.

Here’s how I would answer that:
Chuck, it doesn’t matter what I think. This isn’t about me. It doesn’t even matter what you think. This isn’t about you. What matters is what out standards of proof are going to be. That stands apart from what anybody thinks.

re: #200 by newsjunkie_ky
huh?
ratings mean $$$ in the real world where it matters.
I don’t think either Fox’s or Rush’s ratings will be harmed by this. What happens is people go over there to see the racism, hate, and lies for themselves and wind up becoming fans. Charles turned me on to Beck. I don’t agree with everything he says but find him entertaining as hell. Charles has probably brought this place a few fans. Come to think of it, if he hadn’t banned me I wouldn’t have been scoping out the refugee sites.

re: #191 by coldwarrior
unfortunately, they don’t all reform after a mugging. Some go further down the eabbit hole and support MORE gun control and general liberalism, believing that we don’t do enough to help them, which is why they turn to crime.

Think about it. The obamanation in the WH is going to do everything it can to silence any voice that does not toe the party line. They have the people in place at the FCC and the FTC. There are enough obamabots, most in the media, that believe FNC to be racists. The WH has axelramrod and the ballerinaboy out on all the Sunday shows to trash FNC. The rest of the obamatons are lapping it up and will push the story.
Middle America means nothing to this WH. Seek and destroy is their mission. The internet and conservative blogs are in their sights.

both parties want big government, they just have different pet projects. That’s why the rnc likes the minority… they can complain so as to get reelected, but still get the money and power of big government they are supposed to oppose.

It is depressing, so much crookedness. I saw a show last night about JFK, his final day minute by minute. He gave his last speech and despite his flaws he clearly loved America and believed in our exceptionalism. Amazing that we hardly have an R now who can articulate that.
btw, they showed New Yorkers on the street being interviewed right after the assassination. One lefty claimed it was done by a right wing nut and a black man chimed in to say no, it was a communist.
re: #248 by LanceKates
You must be talking about the same RNC that Michelle Malkin is talking about.
“You have been asking movement conservatives to give you money to fight the ACORN-friendly, union-pandering, tax-and-spend, radical Democrats.
Then you use their money to try and elect Dede Scozzafava, an ACORN-friendly, union-pandering, tax-and-spend radical Republican. And you use that money to fight Doug Hoffman, a viable, bona fide conservative candidate in the race who is closing the gap in the polls.”

3. Looking at it through a picture window, while sitting in front of a roaring fire and sipping on the adult beverage of your choice.
I lived in Plattsburg NY for awhile. When I left I told them, I was tying a snow shovel to the front of my car and driving until someone asked me what it was. That would be where I would stop to rest, before continuing my journey south.

FBI files covering Ellen Rometsch
Ellen Rometsch frequented the Quorum Club, a private club in the Carroll Arms Hotel on Capitol Hill run by Lyndon B. Johnson aide Bobby Baker. In his 1978 book, “Wheeling and Dealing: Confessions of a Capitol Hill Operator,” Baker referred to the place as where, “membership was comprised of senators, congressmen, lobbyists, Capitol Hill staffers, and other well-connecteds who wanted to enjoy their drinks, meals, poker games, and shared secrets in private accommodations.”
According to presidential historian Michael Bechloss, in the summer of 1963, FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover went to Robert Kennedy and said, “We have information that not only your brother, the president, but others in Washington have been involved with a woman whom we suspect as a Soviet intelligence agent, someone who is linked to East German intelligence.” Bechloss says Robert Kennedy spoke with Senate leaders Everett Dirksen (Republican) and Mike Mansfield (Democrat) and asked them to keep to themselves whatever knowledge they had of this. According to Bechloss, Robert Kennedy also had Rometsch expelled from the United States within a week and flown to West Germany.

re global warming
At 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, more than 1,400 groups will be hosting the movie Not Evil Just Wrong, a documentary about the real cost of global warming hysteria.
A list of public premiers can be found at http://www.noteviljustwrong.com/your-premiere/public-premieres. It is billed to be “part of a World Record for the largest ever simultaneous film premier.” Packets containing the DVD, tee-shirts, invitational post cards, a movie poster, and even a strip of red carpet for the front porch have been sent to hosts to help make this a gala and interesting way to educate those who haven’t given much thought to the global warming controversy and Cap and Trade legislation proposed to solve this non-problem.
Why would married couple Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney want to make a film on this subject? There are already a number of excellent documentaries on the subject including Christopher Monckton’s Apocalypse No!, UK’s WAG TV production of The Great Global Warming Swindle, Sovereignty International’s Global Warming or Global Governance, and the relatively technical Carbon Dioxide and the ‘Climate Crisis’ by Ph.D. father and son Sherwood and Craig Ipso. Why another global warming documentary?
First, the timing is critical. H.R. 2454, generally known as “Cap and Trade,” has been passed by the House of Representatives, and companion bills are lurking in the Senate. Given the speed of passage of large, complex bills in this legislative session, one cannot predict when they will be suddenly brought to the floor. It is important to educate Americans about this subject so their protests can come now instead of after the country has been saddled with this enormous transfer of power from private parties to an omnipotent government.
After having had the opportunity to review the film prior to its October 18 release, I would like to touch on several areas without ruining the “plot” for viewers:
• It is aimed at the people who are the producers of America’s wealth and their families. Few today have any conception of what is facing them if energy comes under government control. This is a wake up call for us.
• While feigning support of the disadvantaged, the environmental movement is shown clearly by a specific policy example to have an agenda that is frankly against the advancement of the human race — as bizarre as that may seem. You will find it difficult not to agree.
• Finally, the underpinnings of the case for global hysteria are shown to be either non-existent or criminally fraudulent. You may have wondered about “the hockey stick,” which supposedly shows the Earth heating up in recent years. Wonder no more.
There is only one thing that bothers me about the movie: its title. After seeing Al Gore caught in lie after lie, one wonders if the “not evil” part is correct.
For more information visit http://www.noteviljustwrong.com and/or watch the preview:
re: #308 by snork
I’m on that list twice!

Darn, its showing not too far from here. Wish I had known sooner. Hope it gets more mainstream venues.
re: #307 by bar
Heh, verrrry clever, Bar. SD’s loss, NO’s gain. Such is the nature of the game.
re: #303 by Bordm
On the flip side:
I found the old adage “it’s a dry heat” to be pure bull sh*t.
I lived in the central valley of Ca for a few years. When I saw news reports about folks using their dashboards as crock pots, cooking the family dinner while working, I knew it was time to get out of town.
There is only one thing that bothers me about the movie: its title. After seeing Al Gore caught in lie after lie, one wonders if the “not evil” part is correct.

re: #318 by Iron Fist
I’m thinking even more broadly than that. He already cites Exxonsecrets.org as an authoritative source. Even the freeking name screams black helicopters. I think he could be very easily lead down the primrose path to many kooky conspiracy theories, especially if they have anything to do with either energy companies or right-wing talkers.

Actually, parts of the health care scheme do take effect immediately — the ones that cost the taxpayers. It’s just the “benefits” that are delayed, as I understand it.
re: #311 by vagabond trader
I didn’t mind normal cold weather. The flight line at Plattsburg AFB was perpendicular to Lake Champlain and when the wind blew out of the east over that frozen lake…. Well, I still shiver, just thinking about the times I had to work outside, when the wind chill was -100 or less.
/or would that be more?

re: #268 by Doppelganger
I agree. AGW is a money making Ponzi scheme. That’s all.
I love how the weather is cooperating with us to make them look like the scheming charlatans that they are. LOL
The other day I heard a clip on the radio of an Irish reporter making a fool of Gorebull by asking him questions he could not answer. Gorebull is not very smart and as a nonscientist does not have the p.c. verbiage to bullshit very well. The Irish reporter stated that the weather was in fact cooling and polar bears were INCREASING in number. Gore tried to mock him by saying, ‘You mean we shouldn’t be worrying about polar bears?’
And when the reporter kept stating, “They are increasing in number. They are not declining. So you can’t continue to say global warming is harming them.’
They cut the guy’s mic and pushed him out of the auditorium. I guess that was ‘an inconvenient truth’
Gore-slob couldn’t handle. Fuck these greedy bastards

“…The Bush Administration, by bailing out crooked Wall Street firms, buying into big banks across the nation, and underwriting our union-controlled Big Three automakers has already set up a rationale for and the expectation of massive government intervention in US markets. The next step, a global financial regulatory scheme, will come quickly and easily. It will be sold to us as a necessary step towards stabilizing markets. Bad enough in and of itself, that will only be the start. Next you’ll see regulations “suggested”- by the same EU crowd regarding climate change, energy supplies, food production, healthcare, and telecommunications. Saying no will be tough, because Washington will have already accepted the internationalists’ financial aid (with terms) and gulped their groupthink Kool-Aid. America will rapidly become, de facto, a regulatory “colony”- for the EU. Not a pretty picture for a country whose very foundation was based on a revolt against British colonialism….” Samuel Kephart Nov. 2008
“Carbon credits, like financial derivatives, are nothing more than a shared illusion that literally creates something out of nothing. It’s vaporware that will generate tens of billions in commissions annually and transfer our wealth to others offshore.” S. Kephart.

re: #352 by bellamags
While not attempting to absolve Bush, I distictly remember the outgoing administration bowing to the incoming one in the interest of concilliation. The bank bailout has largely been successful, in which Bush had no real options and that money has since been recovered. As far as GM and the virual government takeover thereof, that was Obama’s baby.
I may be wrong, but that is my recollection. I don’t think things would have gone this far under Bush but, as I said, I could be wrong.

re: #334 by chickadee
There was an absolutely priceless debate which involved several people, but the Union of Concerned Scientists was represented by Bill Nye the Science guy (WTF were they thinking???). On the skeptical side, one of the people was Richard Lindzen of MIT. At the end, Nye went off in the weeds about the collapse of the thermohaline circulation causing another ice age in Europe, and Lindzen basically said that it was complete hooey.
What was priceless was the looks on their faces. Lindzen, with his look of complete exasperation with that idiot, and Nye, with this “but I thought…” look.
Definitely a ROFL moment in the climate circus.

I heard an idiot caller on Mark Levin’s show on Thursday giving props to the Zero for the stock market gains. Levin asked him to name three things that Zero had done that caused the gains. The first one the idiot mentioned was the takeover of GM and Chrysler. The second was Tarp. Levin had to educate him = GM and Chrysler still aren’t making a profit and TARP was passed under BUSH!
I think if it was announced that Zero had walked across the Potomac, no one would demand photographic proof.

No, I absolutely agree. Don’t know about the bank bailout thing though. I don’t think we’ve seen the worst.
re: #374 by Rancher
i’ve heard its very funny.
You know, if Charles really thinks that picture of Obama’s face photoshopped onto a South Seas Island witchdoctor is racist, if he really believes it, why does he display it so often and so prominantly? After all, it is racist, right? I guess it is kinda like KKKilgore shouting the N*word repeatedly so everyone could see that there were racists posting at Hot Air. Something like that.
Which everyone knows Charles approved of, if he didn’t suggesst that KKKilgore go and do it himself.
re: #378 by Iron Fist

On the banks, I also fear that we may not have seen the worst. I also think that insurance companies may be next. Obama seems to be targeting them now, seemingly unaware (or uncaring) that they have enormous investments in other sectors of the economy.
The scenario is scary on a number of fronts.
re: #378 by Iron Fist
Maybe Moe could shine some light on this, but now that you mention it, he does seem to be getting some sort of vicarious thrill out of that, doesn’t he? It’s as if he’s trying to show his LLL cred by showing what he can get away with.

Is Obama anti-american?
http://www.bookwormroom.com/2009/10/18/is-barack-obama-anti-american/
Everything has a fundamental essence, a quality that makes it uniquely itself. Take an orange, for example. It’s not only citrus fruit, it’s an orange colored citrus fruit. Horticulturists can alter its size, its texture, it’s sweetness, and the purity of its orange color, but it still remains an orange because that color is its definition. Change the color, however, and suddenly, you have the un-orange, the anti-orange. You have something completely different that no longer contains within it the essence of the original fruit. Lose the essence and you lose the orange
With the exception of the last item, and unlike the list regarding Obama’s domestic goals, the above bullet-points are not made up of things Obama merely wishes he can do. They are composed of things Obama has already done. He has subordinated America. America is no longer the symbol of liberty around the world. She’s just another nation and, worse, one whose leader, by temperament and political belief, has more reverence for dictatorships than democracies. In other words, when he deals with the world outside America’s borders, he has again denied America’s essence, which is as the symbol of and standard-bearer for freedom.
If every one of Obama’s desires and actions is antithetical to America’s core essence, then it is reasonable to say that he is anti-American. He’s not merely making little changes around the edges, smoothing away rough spots, augmenting existing traits, or getting rid of ugly cankers. Instead, both at home and abroad, he’s trying to destroy America’s essence, that commitment to liberty that makes her unique in this world, and that makes her uniquely American

i decided to mosey on over to 1.0. A couple are of posters are mocking Mandy and her kids faith.
re: #379 by coldwarrior
Yeah, that’s pretty much how I see it. They are racist for a couple of different reasons. Number one, they believe that a person’s skin color will tell you more about that person, and how they should be treated, than ther character. It is interesting that the Right are the one’s who’ve adopted that a person’s character should be what they were judged on rather than their skin color. The Left are worse racists than the most vicious Klansman, just better spoken (then, again, KKKilgore isn’t shy about using the N*word).
Number two, they believe that a person’s skin color tells you how society should behave towards them. You see this in affirmitive action, that says a person’s skin color is an important factor (often the important factor) in things like university acceptance and job hiring decisions. This is just institutionalized racism.
Both types of racism are characteristics of the Left, and both are dispicable.

re: #371 by Carolina Girl
So many economic events occured during the transition that the Left has begun to pick and choose what is to be credited to (and blamed on) whom.
Much of TARP was Bush and has been largely (if not entirely) paid back with interest. The auto company bailout ballooned under Obama and it was his administration that essentially nationalized GM. If I’m not mistaken, GM is still pretty much a wholly owned subsidiary of the U.S. taxpayer.
The bank thing may not be over, but at the moment they seem to be stable. I think that the insurance industry is next and Obama’s wholesale assault on them is not helpful. All of these large corporations are inter-invested and when one suffers, they all do.
From my perspective, the economy is now wholly owned by Obama and any attempts to “blame Bush” should be met with the scorn they deserve.

re: #388 by bellamags
Yes, inflation is coming. We simply cannot triple government spending as a percentage of the GDP without that being a consequence.
In the last 10 months, we have put ourselves in a “Catch 22″ situation; what we need are massive tax cuts to stimulate, stablize and grow the economy, yet we have people in charge of Congress who STILL don’t believe in that practice, though it’s been a proven success.
Does anyone doubt that tax increases are on the horizon? That will simply worsen an already bad situation.
In addition, this same Congress, as well as the Administration, continues to spend with no respite in sight.
All of this is a classic recipe for economic disaster and misery for all sectors of the economy; they are all inter-related and this President seems unwilling to accept that.
re: #399 by snork
Its extreme paranoia from the far right wing nut jobs that the military or police would ever move into a city and be ordered to round up peoples guns. They have all sworn to uphold the constitution and would never follow such orders.
Except immediately after Katrina.

re: #408 by Rancher
That is a real gut-check time for the cops and military. It woul dbe an unconstitutional order that they should refuse to obey. That is what the Oath Keepers are making explicit. For this they are right-wing whack jobs? Does Chuck think they ?shoudl obey orders to move in and confiscate guns? That is a raving Left-Wing anti-American whack job position that will, if ever carried out, start a Second American Civil War. The fact that there are Left wing whack jobs out there wanting the police to outlaw guns and confiscate them are why people are worried about it. If these same Left Wing, anti-civil rights whack jobs would admit that their nutjob fantasies are unconstitutional and illegal abridgements of Americans civil rights, then wew might could back down on some of the rhetoric. First, Sarah Brady and her fanatics should be disbanded and the principles arrested for conspiracy to violate the civil rights of Americans. Similar to what was down to that other Left wing whackjobs White Arayan Resistance.
Let’s start there. Once the worst of these Left wing whack jobs are in prison, we can deal with lesser nutcases like Rosie Odonel.
re: #414 by snork
“Is the constitution some sort of right-wing nutjob document now?”
You said it, I didn’t.
“Ultimately, though, I have to side with Justice Breyer’s view of the Constitution—that it is not a static but rather a living document, and must be read in the context of an ever-changing world.”
BHO
The cops and National Guardsmen took the same oaths but when ordered to confiscate guns from those who wished to protect their property after Katrina they followed those orders. Reaffirmation isn’t just harmless, it seems to be necessary.

(If it has to be said, yes, this is credible evidence that RS McCain isn’t a real white supremacist, but, like racist, that changes when it enters the Left-wing mind. Just as in the left wing mind the repeated use of the N*word doesn’t make them a racist (KKKilgore), so too, in the left wing mind, does all evidence that a accused “white supremacist” doesn’t think, you know, whites are superior, well, no evidence of that matters)

No. Stay alive because you confiscate the weapon of the man trying to kill you and deprive your family of a husband and father. If the wrong gun is confiscated (in the real world, like Katrina) then an apology is due. If the right gun is confiscated, you don’t have to shoot the man dead for pointing it at you.
Not taking the weapon means you die and your kids don’t have a father. It ain’t the Supreme Court making that call, it’s real live American kids.
I’m totally pro 2nd Amendmebnt, but Katrina is the WORST defense of it that I’ve ever heard.

You might want to reconsider the case where you say that hey, it is OK if law enforcement just pisses all over that outdated constitution thingy.

Then why are you saying that it was OK for the cops to unconstitutionally confiscate firearms based on reportas that someone, somewhere in the hurricane zone, fired on a hilicopter? HAve you got any substantive evidence that any helicopters were fired upon? I’ve never seen any. Ever. The “helicopters being shot at” appears as mythincal as the cannibalism, so I will ask you why on earth you think that justifies unconstitutional and illegal acts by law enforcement?

Copyright and trademark law are also considered authorized by Article I, Section 8.
This section, however, has nothing to do with “taxpayer support,” but with providing avenues of legal redress so that people can privately enforce their rights in their work. Article I, Section 8 in no way authorizes direct taxpayer support.

re: #455 by Rancher
The cops where I live would refuse such orders. I’ve known a number of them throughout the years. The most compliance you’d get would be being told to leave them alone and let them do their jobs. They wouldn’t actually try and confiscate guns. I’, confident of that for this area. I’d be more afraid they’d bring cops in from elsewhere, say Chicago or DC, and have them try and disar our civillians. Did I mention we are heavily armed around here. The police estimate I’ve seen is that 80% of the homes have firearms in them. Usually more than one.

re: #465 by Lincolntf
Dude, the first rule of holes is stop digging, not obfuscate the question . The answer to the question When should police and law enforcement enforce unconstitutional laws with force? is Never. Ever. Under any circumstances. There have been people found civilly and criminally liable for such actions. The actions by Law Enforcement after Katrina are another oppertunity for the court system to enforce their disapproval of such things.

re: #474 by snork
that about sums it up
It is, I might add, a Federal Felony to enforce laws that violate the civil rights of American Citizens. Post-Heller, I think it would be very interesting for the courts to decide if law enforcement that enforces laws that violate the Second Amendment should be criminally or civilly in jepeordy for their acts. I think what Court that turns up in right now. I don’t think I’d want to be a cop in the Ninth Circuit accused of such right now. They are very cop-unfriendly and have recently been very (reluctantly) pro-Second Amendment…

Rancher and IF, my sources are real life. You remember real life, right? When you actually speak to the participants before you render judgment? The small arms fire directed at US troops was spread over several days, tens of miles, and hundreds of rounds. Obviously, CNN didn’t share that with you.
If you want a lot of detail, I suggest you enlist. It’s in all the current training films.
re: #493 by Lincolntf
Nice reply. Since we don’t have your secret sources, we can’t know what you are talking about, therefore we are wrong? Is that your assertion?> A couple of points. Number one is that in the military they drill into you that you never obey unlawful orders. Ever. They can and will court martial you for that. Any order that violates the Constitution is, by definiation, unconstitutional and therefore also unlawful.
That is basic military law. I’m not a lawyer, either, but I have studied it. Just as I’ve know people in the military. I even spent a year working as a civillian attached to a Marine Corp Reserve tank platoon. That doesn’t make me a vetern, but it is experience that would count, I believe, towards your slight that I don’t see the Second Amendment from a soldier’s perspective. A couple of points on that specifically: first and foremost we maintain a civillian control over the military in this country. My civillian opinion, insofar as that it is a correct legal opinion, is a valid opinion.
Secondly, I’ve known a lot of soldiers. Their view of the Second Amendment is pretty congruent with mine. As an example you should recognize I’ll refer to reaganite who was career airforce (EOD) and McGuyver (also career air force). I use those two because you shoul dat least recognize the nicks.

but DAMMIT, by post #14, we’re talking about fucking LGF 1.0 on the FUCKING SPORTS THREAD!
This is actually starting to piss me off because I have been very low-key but now I can’t even enjoy Sunday games + Sunday 2.0 game commentary without tons of OT posts re: LGF 1.0 I have to scroll through.
The best thing about this blog is the free speech, so now I’m exercising mine. And you who totally ignored that this was a sports thread – exercise yours to chew me out.
But for the love of Pete, in the Age of Obama, where everything gets soiled, including the baseball All-Star game, do some of us really have to clutter the sports thread with LGF 1.0 comments?!
Please re-read the intro to this thread!!!:
“Hello Blogmocracy Netizens This is the Sunday Sports thread!
Enjoy the games and discuss any sports on this thread!”
I’m serious, one of the good rules about 1.0 was the courtesy of at least putting “OT” before an off-topic comment.
This is basic blog discipline, and I hope that folks don’t think I’m being too snippy when I say that this is a good rule and helps prevent blog anarchy.
OK, I’ve said my piece/ NOW DON’T DO IT AGAIN!! ;-P
