At the behest of his Progressive overlords, his blog has turn into a collection of DNC talking points. At one time he was allied with the Right but he decided the Left is on top, so now he joined them. He has launched non stop attacks on any Conservative/Libertarian blogger, politician or pundit. He seeks to silence the Right and enable a Progressive Dictatorship like Venezuela, here in America. He has been rewarded for his service on behalf of Progressive with a NY Times interview.
The NY Times has in the past supported Progresive tyrants the world over. They are a radical Far Left paper that is the propaganda arm of the Tranzi Progressive movement. Charles “Icarus” John can no longer deny the fact that he is a Propagandist for the Totalitarian Progressive Movement.

Back in 2002, we were forced from our home in San Diego, because of a wild fire. They opened the parking lot of Qualcomm stadium for us to go to for food/water/medical/veterinary/etc.
They had media there, and a woman approached us wanting to interview us for a story. About that time her press badge turned around and read nyslimes.
I told her no thanks, not from that place.

So…let me break this down. It is said without “malice” because it’s opinion. Malice has nothing to do with opinion. If I said “it is my belief that X is a pedophile that rapes 13 year old girls” when I have absolutely NO proof to back it up, merely stating it as opinion does not negate that the statement is malicious in nature.
That said, let’s proceed to the next sentence: “I believe almost any quote….because he’s said any number of ugly….just my opinion and belief.” That is a stupid statement. You just stated that “he’s said any number of ugly and hateful things.” That is NOT opinion. You stated it as fact.
If you have EVIDENCE that he has made ugly and hateful statements, CITE them – give the date the statement was made. It’s hard to believe that Rush got away with these statements in the MSM when he wasn’t even allowed to call the frauds “phoney soldiers.”
It’s not enought to say he’s said them. I can say you bicycle naked through Cucamonga every Tuesday and woo woo women as you go by. Doesn’t make it true. And saying it’s opinion doesn’t make it any less malicious.
I am emailing Direct TV that I will be cancelling Sunday Ticket after this season. Obviously, I am NOT the kind of person the NFL wishes to attract, and if Rush Limbaugh is not good enough to own part of a team, certainly someone who listens to Rush Limbaugh and agrees with him 90% of the time is not the type of person the NFL or the players would like watching them play.
I love the Saints, but I value my principles more.

The deletions of all the posts of a banned poster is deeply worrying.
I am trying to find reasons for it other than spite.
If a blog owner – especially of a political site – regards the comment threads as part of the record of his blog, something akin to an historical document, why would he render it meaningless be deleting so much of it. If the owner does not regard the comment blogs as part of the record – especially the “chat room” aspect of the threads, he could leave them intact for historians to decide on relevance, or he could delete them all, or delete threads after 6 months, or not invite comments at all.
I am very glad that Buzzsawmonkey copied the archive with his posts. The posts were of a very high standard in quality of thought and expression, even for something as ephemeral as a blog, and it deserves to be kept as a record – personal, or perhaps made public in his “Memoirs of a Poster”.
I do hope the NYT Magazine reporter does some investigation on this site. And interviews Buzz and others.

I have to accompany my wife and her clients to a couple of Steelers games this year. Not a big fan, but duty calls and I like to eat and drink free at nice places.
If this thing with Rush had continued I was thinking of a banner to hang from the boxes rail that said Free Rush – Chain Vick. A shit storm for sure

I love the banner idea. And I actually asked DTV if I can cancel the remainder of the year and they said “no” because I had gotten the special deal for auto renew. That’s okay, the rules are the rules.
The woman did say something interesting, though. She said “you’re like the fifth call today I’ve had that said they’re cancelling for next year because this whole Rush thing has really pissed them off.”

Whenever someone from the left tries to hit me with a so-called fact that is based on opinion and I point it out to them, they try to counter with “well opinions can be facts, you know.”

The left bases a lot of their stands on this subjective truth. If it feels like truth, then it is truth. (It’s a cousin of “If it feels good, do it.”)
This undermines all rational thought.
They allow themselves and others who specialize in subjective truth to revise history at will.
This is how the Arabs who call themselves “Palestinians” have been able to sell the claim that they were a nation and a people since the dawn of man although there’s no such people mentioned anywhere in recorded history (including in the League of Nations reports or in UN reports until around 1969).
The “Palestinians” experience Israel’s self-defense as aggression and the left applauds them for the use of subjective truth to spread horror and terror in the world.
