In 1858 another “revolution” began in this Great Nation because of an error by the framers of this Great Nation, and of course we all know what followed, the start (the true start) of Liberals and Communist. Although this Nation was purged in blood for its sins of the past, many believe it was the start of an opressive regime in this country whereas the FEDERAL GOVERMENT was the true power, Not the way it was set up as the people and States having the power. we paid a great price for this knowledge of Goverment supremacy.
And now it is coming to a fruition, whether or not it was set in motion in that time frame is a theological argument, but none the less we have a person in the white house who has a RADICAL COMMUNIST OUTLOOK.
The true question is what are we, the american population going to do about it? we have an election in 2010, But I firmly believe we do not have that long once these plans are set in motion by the goverment what are we, the population of this Nation, going to do, what are our choices? Americans time is getting short, we must plan for the worst, and pray for the best.
I, as a retired Law enforcement Officer do not believe that Law enforcement will force our population into a “goverment” state. I also believe that about the Military (served 1972 1989 US Army MP(95 Bravo)). The Only answer right now is to Arm Yourselfs, get set up for a long bad time (picture Weimar Republic) become as self suffient as possible, because folks it is going to get rough.
Doom and gloom, doom and gloom…yeah I know how it sounds, but WE THE PEOPLE are the ones who will have to pay, be ready for it.
Oh and get yourself armed, learn to shoot, learn to reload, get some lead and learn to make bullets. learn how to make black powder, remember you cannot shoot modern powder ot of a blackpowder gun, but you sure as hell can shoot black powder out of a modern gun!
Now how is that for an early saturdy rant!

I just had my folks over this week and the conversations are similiar. We’re from rural Ohio with a half the family still into farming, so we have the self-efficiency part down pat. Alot of talk on the street these days, but none on the news. Its going to get interesting.

No, not a DS, I was attached to the MP corps and was tasked with the “protection” of the Pistol Palace.
And to keep up with the “boots” when they did gaurd on the various places around post. We worked with the GOA police. I was a MPI and CID but I really liked harassing the Boots late at night, caught quite a few sleeping and had a good time showing them the reason sleeping is bad (on duty).

Guns are important, even if you don’t want to own one, just the possibility that you MAY have one can reduce your chances of becoming a victim of a crime.
You don’t like guns? Fine, don’t get one. Just oppose gun control measures anyway, the life you save may be your own.
As for ammo, I shoot 9mm. I haven’t seen a box of 9mm ammo at walmart in months. I haven’t seen more than 3 boxes of 9mm ammo at walmart since the election.
I was at walmart a day or two ago, their ammo case had 2 or 3 boxes of 525 golden bullet .22lr, 2 boxes of .40 and .45 ammo. That was it. The rest of the space was being used as overflow storage.
They have oodles of shotgun shells, but no handgun or rifle ammo.
