Obama to use Nobel Prize to push Global Progressivism

Our Crypto-Dictator Barack Hussein Obama, is planning on using his Nobel Prize win to push Global Progressive Ideas. As always he mentioned Israel, Nuclear Disarmament and Climate Change. These are the usual causes of the Tranzi Progressives and armed with this prize, he plans to push for Global Progressivism.

President Barack Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize is quickly turning from a singular honor into a gold-medal headache, as even supporters call it premature and critics say it proves he’s a darling of the international elite.

Obama moved to put some distance between himself and the award, saying, “I do not view it as a recognition of my own accomplishments, but a recognition of the role of American leadership” in the world.

“To be honest, I do not feel that I deserve to be in the company of so many of the transformative figures” who won in the past, Obama said at the White House. “I will accept this award as a call to action, a call to all nations to confront the common challenges of the 21st Century.”

And trying to puncture the solemnity of the moment, Obama joked that it was also a good day because it’s his dog Bo’s birthday.

But even as some Democrats called it a validation of Obama’s inclusive approach to foreign affairs, conservatives said it was evidence the Nobel committee simply wanted America “neutered,” as talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh said.

“With this ‘award’ the elites of the world are urging Obama, THE MAN OF PEACE, to not do the surge in Afghanistan, not take action against Iran and its nuclear program and to basically continue his intentions to emasculate the United States,”Limbaugh wrote in an e-mail to POLITICO.

At a time when Obama faces critical choices on Afghanistan, Guantanamo and other sensitive national security issues, the Nobel Committee’s action does revive Republican arguments that Obama is beholden to global elites looking for a dramatic break from the policies of President George W. Bush.

Barack Obama has pleased the Neo-Feudal Global Progressive elites. He has apologized for America’s actions and back-stab allies like Israel and Colombia. It is pure nonsense that all nations share common interests, each Nation has it’s own interest and Obama knows this. His goal is one of a world subject to ruling elites, who impose their way on the masses.

The Nobel Prize has been giving to Obama for selling out America to Global elites. The Progressive movement has seized control of America and they plan to submit us to Global Institutions. The Leftists run these organizations and we are watching this play out in front of our eyes. Obama is their designated Spokesman for this agenda.

Job well done Mr. Hussein!

just wait till you see the global economic fallout from all this deficit spending!

the global-progs will get their next wish, the end of the dollar’s seigniorage. which then means a weakening of american economic power which strikes directly at the idea of american exceptionalism.

this can be reversed in 2010 with a resounding win by the right

The Obamination is certainly in good company, considering all of the other dictators, terrorists, climatic scam artists and incompetent fools that have been awarded Nobel prizes throughout the years. Even Hitler was nominated for the prize one year and a terrorist like Arafat actually won it once.

The Norwegians don’t know jack shit, they’re one of the few countries in the civilized world to recognize the terrorist Hamas government. Their prize is worth less than garbage, I suggest that they rename it the Nobel Piss Prize.

It is hardly surprising that Nordic, socialist Eurotrash people and lovers of terrorists would award a prize to a guy who has done nothing besides damaging and hurting the USA with every move that he makes and every time that he opens his ignorant and untruthful mouth.

Anti-Americanism still runs strong in the world, and this ridiculous prize is just further proof of that.

I hope that all of President Forrest Gump Obama’s policies can be erased or mitigated by the 2010 congress. I hope that the Democrats coming up for election next year realize that the people do not want the government in control of everything and will vote accordingly.

That is why they are denigrating the Tea Parties and such. The Dems and the liberals know that the people do not want what they are peddling, so they have to make it look like the “people” want socialism.

Over at Pam G.’s blog, she reflects how I feel:

It’s imperative to our nation, our culture, our economics, to everything, that there is a swift house-cleaning in 2010 and 2012. If we can’t muster up enough outrage over the direction the dems are taking our nation, then we will slide down that slope into socialism. We’ll become the third world country the leftists have dreamed about.

Since nominations for the prize ended on Feb. 1 and Obama took office on Jan. 20, that would mean that Obama was awarded the prize based on 12 days of work which he did.

January 20: Sworn in as president. Went to a parade. Partied.

January 21: Asked bureaucrats to re-write guidelines for information requests. Held an “open house” party at the White House.

January 22: Signed Executive Orders: Executive Branch workers to take ethics pledge; re-affirmed Army Field Manual techniques for interrogations; expressed desire to close Gitmo (how’s that working out?)

January 23: Ordered the release of federal funding to pay for abortions in foreign countries. Lunch with Joe Biden; met with Tim Geithner.

January 24: Budget meeting with economic team.

    January 25: Skipped church.

January 26: Gave speech about jobs and energy. Met with Hillary Clinton. Attended Geithner’s swearing in ceremony.

January 27: Met with Republicans. Spoke at a clock tower in Ohio.

January 28: Economic meetings in the morning, met with Defense secretary in the afternoon.

January 29: Signed Ledbetter Bill overturning Supreme Court decision on lawsuits over wages. Party in the State Room. Met with Biden.

January 30: Met economic advisers. Gave speech on Middle Class Working Families Task Force. Met with senior enlisted military officials.

January 31: Took the day off.

February 1: Skipped church. Threw a Super Bowl party.

More on right wing think tank funding:

It is a telling marker of the ideological cohesiveness and extremism of this core group of philanthropies that three of the five founding members, Joseph Coors, David Koch and Harry Bradley, were members and financial supporters of the John Birch Society. The Scaife foundations, headed by Richard Mellon Scaife, are also involved, albeit in less direct ways.

In the past 20 years this core group of funders has, by many reports, built and strategically linked an impressive array of almost 500 think tanks, centers, institutes and “concerned citizens groups” both within and outside of the academy. It is particularly telling to observe the funding sources of these organizations during the first 10-15 years of their existence, when their ideological identities were being established. A small sampling of these entities include the Cato Institute, the Heritage Foundation, the American Enterprise Institute, the Manhattan Institute, the Hoover Institution, the Claremont Institute, the American Council of Trustees and Alumni, Middle East Forum, Accuracy in Media, and the National Association of Scholars, as well as Horowitz’s Center of the Study of Popular Culture.

They’ve spent 20+ years building their machine, and we wonder why Beck is so popular right now. Well- here’s a clue.

People are funding the right think tanks with [gasp!!!] money! No shit. Ever looked at how much foundation and rich moonbat money (let alone government grants) gets poured into left-wing NGOS?

As somebody who makes his living in the capital markets, I have to tell you no way. As much as the world pisses and moans about American loss of world economic dominance, we are still in fact dominant. They can base their economies on whatever fairytale they want, but in the end, when ever anybody has a large chuck of investable assets, the bulk of it will end up in the U.S. The Chinese are a perfect example. I am sure you all remember the Chicoms laughing out loud at Zero Administration officials earlier this year. Guess what, they still bought our debt, in a non-public fashion. they did not do this because they wanted to, they did it because they simply had no choice. We had the only market capable of handling that amount of an investment. Our markets posess the greatest amount of transparency and productivity in the world. Even in this current recession, we Americans are still twice as productive as the rest of the world combined. People who make excellent reading on these points are Dan Laufenberg, Doug Lennick, and Nick Murray They aren’t the most famous of individuals, only the most accurate of prognosticators. I like them even more for their refusal to appear on T.V.

I am even more optimistic because I can see that he has lost much of his actual power. Even with overwhelming control of both houses, He is unable to push any of his agenda items through. Yes, LGF has transformed into a typical leftist blog, where there are different standards for different posters.

If you are a liberal, you can type and say whatever you want, since they obviously have good intentions.

When it comes to anybody who is slightly to the right, then it’s minority report all of a sudden, because these people obviously are evil and their intentions are bad.

Organizers of the Big E in Springfield, Massachusetts say the high-cal burger — which consists of a beef patty, cheese and bacon on a buttered, grilled and glazed doughnut — was a huge hit this year, selling 1.000 burgers per day over the exhibition’s 17-day run, reports the Telegraph.

“The Republican Party has thrown in its lot with the terrorists – the Taliban and Hamas this morning – in criticizing the President for receiving the Nobel Peace prize,” DNC communications director Brad Woodhouse told POLITICO. “Republicans cheered when America failed to land the Olympics and now they are criticizing the President of the United States for receiving the Nobel Peace prize – an award he did not seek but that is nonetheless an honor in which every American can take great pride – unless of course you are the Republican Party.

I guess Woodhouse didn’t get the memo that the Taliban are our friends now.

  172. 172 | October 9, 2009 12:52 pm

Charles is right about RedState. RedState is wrong even from a reactionary standpoint (let alone conservative).

RedState imagines that Norwegians care about affirmative-action for black people in the US. That is sheer nonsense. It may be on their list of noble causes, but it’s not as high as are, say, “ending apartheid in Palestine” or “fighting fascism” or “global warming”.

A better explanation may be found at Moldbug’s: the Nobel’s decision is an afterclap of the reconstruction of Norway after 1945. According to this site, British agents were in deep with the resistance. When the Germans surrendered in Norway, British forces under British General Sir Andrew Thorne occupied the place. Under Thorne, and then under the 20-year reign of the indigenous Labour-Party under Einar Gerhardsen, Britain and Britain’s Norse allies drove the Nazi-aligned elite of old Norway into extinction. They remade Norway into a Progressive nation.

Norway has a new elite now, which exploits national guilt for its collaboration with the Nazis – which went far beyond that of allied Finland and even occupied Denmark. This elite has relentlessly (if peacefully) continued its purge of anything remotely right-wing. Moldbug proposes that this elite honestly does not know any better than to reward Obama and, by extension, America – just for Obama being President.

In other words: it’s not about race. It’s about progressivism and postwar guilt. This should be obvious to any student of Europe. If even a reactionary like Moldbug can see that, then there cannot be a conservative case for bringing affirmative-action into it.

Insofar as RedState’s error is based on Erickson’s racial resentment, the whole site has egg on its face.

(I must add here that reconstructing Norway was a necessary act, and that I’m glad my countrymen helped do it. Unfortunately handing over Scandinavian nations to progressives cost us in the Cold War: Gerhardsen wouldn’t let NATO keep military bases in Norway, for instance. The Norwegian elite isn’t on our side, but at least they’re irrelevant.)

I think some people are missing Redstate’s point.

‘Affirmative Action’, which clearly an American construct only, awards preference for reasons other than merit, such as former condition of having been discriminated against as a class.

If you call some one “the affirmative action hire” you may mean in the generic sense that the person got hired through nepotism, favoritism, or for not being George Bush.

I don’t think there is any chance that Redstate think the Nobel Committee has a set-aside for half-African US presidents.

The problem with your definition is that it abuses the language.

Affirmative-action implies, well, action: turning over rocks, finding anyone who might possibly fit, and then hoping no-one looks too hard at the qualifications. This does happen in the Nobel committee; Rigoberta Menchu is the poster child for that (”quick, find me a third-worlder”). Obama isn’t an example, any more than was Carter (and I would have objected to the term for him too). Obama is a very public figure.

I suppose I’m headed into concern-troll territory; but Erickson brought up a racially-charged term and, IMO, did it recklessly and worse, wrongly.

Who was the poster who always said something about all you who voted against McCain being happy now?

They do sound just like the Koskidz. Rude and belittling.

Every day there is a mention of the O being African American and how anybody who does not toe his line is racist. How come no one ever called the Bush critics racist? Oh, that’s right, Bush is a white man. How dare he!///

America will not be a better country for being led by the “post racial” president.
    (Whatever post racial means.)

Can you be “pre-racial” and how would that be different?

That’s how I finished up. Got tired of playing class clown and being worried about posting anything of substance.

What a complete liar Sharmuta is.

The Bradley Foundation, located in my neighborhood, spearheaded the voucher movement in Milwaukee – fighting the teacher’s union every step of the way.

Strange sort of “Birchers” – people who champion black children who want to attend good schools and get decent educations.
