There has been much discussion regarding the Ads being shown at the blog Little Green Footballs. One of the repeated claims by the blog runner there is that they are random, and thus he cannot control the ads to Glenn Beck, or Muslim outreach. Odd that others don’t seem to be having this problem. (at least that I know of)

I came in on the amnesty thread. That is funny! Anyway, I’m out of the closet so to speak and flaunting it. They may ban me in absentia, I no longer care to visit the site or read the moderators or commenters opinions. It has become a mean, brawling place. I will miss some, but if they are the people I think they are, they too will walk away. Said it before, I’m glad to be here.
I had considered having my account closed back in the run up before the election. I left it active for the occasion that some of the old folks showed up and it became worthwhile to say something. In any case, I eventually got sick of watching the BS and deliberately posted a couple of comments during the summer to try and get booted. I succeeded on the witch doctor thread.
I am pretty sure this wasn’t flouncing, just Suicide by Pissing on the Regents Raiment.
Welcome. When you see all the posters you’ve been cordially conversing with for months/years/whatever over at LGF immediately decide that you are an evil bastard for leaving, take it with a grain of salt.
They are in thrall to their Lizard King and know not what they say.
The only question I have for LGF is to its readers. I cannot understand how they allow LGF to humiliate, mislead, and abuse them so much.
It is a shame what LGF has become and how it treats its “lizards”. Can it really represent them any more?

Furthermore, when one dares to speak out against this type of treatment, LGF completely humiliates the “lizardoid” by putting him or her in TIME OUT, making threats, or outright banning which is followed by a pile-on of insults – but only after they are no longer there to defend themselves.
As we all know, LGF is Charles blog (as this is mine and other Admins) but the “lizardoids” for the most part are great people who deserve better.
A “time out” should have been the last straw. Who does “Charles” think he is to treat people that way!?
It’d also be interesting to go back to find the last post critical of Obama. I’m sure the transition was underway before that, but it’d be something of note to see the Last Sane Post.

Go into the LGF Daily Archives and pick any random date from October 2001 until last year and peruse the threads and comments and then compare to today. Virtually unrecognizable.
There haven’t been any pictures of rusty fence posts or bicycle seats over at LGF lately. I wonder why that is. How can I live without my daily dose of Charles Queegson’s artistic brillance? Maybe, there just isn’t anything even that interesting to photograph in his basement. Does he even go outside anymore? I mean now that he can buy toilet paper online?
LGF has become so incredibly boring! I’ve posted my feelings (on another thread here) about the turncoat CJ and will say no more about him.
This is a great site. Kudos to the admins for designing a user friendly web page. Most of all, a big round of applause to all here for interesting postings.
One minor kvetch though. I do wish this site would drop the LGF 2.0 moniker and promote the “Blogmocracy” label only. Or come up with another title altogether.
References to LGF 1.0 and LGF 2.0 must be confusing to newbies who don’t know how it all came about.
Linc and Nevergiveup, most of my favorites are here! More will show up, too. The situation is getting worse at lgf. The UK crowd is just plain nasty and stirs up a lot of hostility. The VAST majority of abortions performed in the United States are done when the so-called “baby” is nothing more than a few cells. Not even close to a “baby.
On 9/11 he had one thread on the anniversary of 9/11/01 and 4 or 5 threads about the coming 9/12 tea parties in D.C. The guy is obsessed. the fact that now Andrew Sullivan praises him tells volumes.
He was able to get away with it when he was lying about “others”, but when he began lying about the very same people he was addressing (Tea Party attendees, opponents of Obamacare, Palin supporters, GW skeptics, etc.) it all came apart.
My first banning there was because I was misunderstood, and “Charles” believed that I had called his new “monitor lizard” concept “lame”.
Yup, that is it. I’m not sure how that would fit into “extreme” or “rude”.
Finally after explaining his confusion, I was given my account back.
Then Charles lied, and told the lizardoids that I had begged, pleaded, and butt-kissed to get back in. I should have ended it there on my own terms, but out of weakness I allowed myself to be treated that way.
Now it seems that that is the tone there. It just isn’t fair to the “Lizardoids”. They don’t deserve to be treated that way.
It is sad that people have been so conditioned to that treatment that even after leaving LGF some believe we still need to parrot the “its his blog” line.
How about instead “it is RUDE, and people shouldn’t accept to be treated that way”!

Right before I was banned I joked about LGF’s own “wedge theory”. First they claim that its only about the schools, then the argument transforms into science vs. religion, then before you know it is outright bashing of Religion concepts, then it will be overt anti-Religion.

When I click on “reply” to a post I get the comment screen with the “post#screenname” stuff and it only stays for a couple of seconds. Then it switches to a blank comment page.
What gives? Am I missing an important step? Or is it a “bug”?

Seems we have trodden somewhat the same past. I was banned from LGF for:
1. Questioning the idea of the “monitor lizards,” as in “who watches the lizards?” and down-dinging clique-trolls who were piling on favorite targets and blowing up all the threads.
2. Chewing out sharmuta & highrise while they were gleefully and mindlessly cutting the throat of a new hatchling.
Two different nics. I came back under a new nic because I felt I had been banned for patently unfair reasons, and felt that I could still try to post against the thuglizards in defense of what LGF used to be. After the last ridiculous banning (2-1/2 years ago I think), it was obvious that, at root, the blog owner was the problem.
So I quit trying to help. No what what pejoratives CJ threw out, my coming back under different nics wasn’t stalking. Actually, after donating money to the guy, I thought I was trying to help call out the thugs. Then I realized he was the thug enabler and a liar. So I didn’t go back.
It looks like they admit here that indeed it was honorary yooper outed. Not someone else as they claimed in 1.0 and DFM. Nor did Yooper rise to the defense of Hoosier Hoops when he could have.

Hmmmm,…,so McGee said an abortion before 12 weeks kills a baby?
You know, I’m a bit surprised Throbert McGee is still there. When he first began posting at LGF many moons ago, I dismissed him as someone mainly interested in shocking the straights with campy tidbits re: his sexual preferences and habits. Yeah, yeah, McGee, so we know you like hairy guys, so what?
But during the Terri Schaivo debate he showed a different side of himself. He was a passionate defender of letting Terri live, at both LGF and Discarded Lies. He wrote many long posts about it. (It’s a measure of how different LGF was in those days that neither he nor I were banned during that huge debacle, although we both bitched about LGF at Discarded Lies, which made NY Nana very upset with me. People were still allowed to disagree with CJ.)
Anyway, McGee has more depth than I had given him credit for. But he had better watch himself: if he goes around demonstrating doubts about abortion now, he’ll get the boot for sure. (I remember abortion was a verboten topic at LGF for years. because CJ thought it took the focus off of the WoT. True enough.)
Same thing happened to me. I mentioned how most of the threads go down hill when the mocking and insulting by Charles’ buddies occur. Told some dude (think it was Jimmah or svssatv I think) to FOAD and that I wasn’t no doormat. Then I think someone called Army Wife told me to take some chamomile tea or something. Bam, just like that my account got blocked.
The second time I got banned I noticed that he was deleting my comments and I think Dark_Falcon replied right after my comment. Some were wondering what the hell Dark_Falcon was replying to. But good ol charles deleted my comment.
I down dinged a Charles comment and had my account blocked.

I never felt very comfortable posting at LGF and didn’t comment much. I used to enjoy reading it though. Around the time of the Israeli – Hezbollah war with all the propaganda photo’s and such. The other day I down dinged a Charles comment and my account was immediately blocked. I couldn’t believe it. And actually at this point in the direction the blog is going, I don’t care.
I have posted more comments at Huffpo because at least they allow debate in the comments.

The only question I have for LGF is to its readers. I cannot understand how they allow LGF to humiliate, mislead, and abuse them so much.
It is a shame what LGF has become and how it treats its “lizards”. Can it really represent them any more?
The “Lizard King” bans at will and without warning…
calls fetus’ “just cells”…
…doesn’t mind the Government funding abortion…
…openly rants against the Conservatives and Republican Party…
…links to the Daily KOS and Huff Post…
…believes that Terrorism is no longer a threat…
…rejects the Jewish right to live in Judea…
Furthermore, when one dares to speak out against this type of treatment, LGF completely humiliates the “lizardoid” by putting him or her in TIME OUT, making threats, or outright banning which is followed by a pile-on of insults – but only after they are no longer there to defend themselves.
As we all know, LGF is Charles blog (as this is mine and other Admins) but the “lizardoids” for the most part are great people who deserve better.
A “time out” should have been the last straw. Who does “Charles” think he is to treat people that way!?
Will Nancy soon make available – for a small price – his scintillating collection of bicycle spoke photography?

This is too funny. Someone just submitted a Blogad for Glenn Beck’s ridiculous new book.
Somebody trying to play a gotcha game, possibly. “Look what a hypocrite Chuckles is!”
I think I’ll take their money and let them rant about it. Should be amusing. And meanwhile I’ll continue mocking Beck.
There haven’t been any pictures of rusty fence posts or bicycle seats over at LGF lately. I wonder why that is. How can I live without my daily dose of Charles Queegson’s artistic brillance? LGF has become so incredibly boring! I’ve posted my feelings (on another thread here) about the turncoat CJ and will say no more about him.
This is a great site. Kudos to the admins for designing a user friendly web page. Most of all, a big round of applause to all here for interesting postings.
One minor kvetch though. I do wish this site would drop the LGF 2.0 moniker and promote the “Blogmocracy” label only. Or come up with another title altogether.
References to LGF 1.0 and LGF 2.0 must be confusing to newbies who don’t know how it all came about.

My first banning there was because I was misunderstood, and “Charles” believed that I had called his new “monitor lizard” concept “lame”.
Yup, that is it. I’m not sure how that would fit into “extreme” or “rude”.
Finally after explaining his confusion, I was given my account back.
Then Charles lied, and told the lizardoids that I had begged, pleaded, and butt-kissed to get back in. I should have ended it there on my own terms, but out of weakness I allowed myself to be treated that way.
Now it seems that that is the tone there. It just isn’t fair to the “Lizardoids”. They don’t deserve to be treated that way.
It is sad that people have been so conditioned to that treatment that even after leaving LGF some believe we still need to parrot the “its his blog” line.
How about instead “it is RUDE, and people shouldn’t accept to be treated that way”!

Right before I was banned I joked about LGF’s own “wedge theory”. First they claim that its only about the schools, then the argument transforms into science vs. religion, then before you know it is outright bashing of Religion concepts, then it will be overt anti-Religion.
This may not be the place for a question about “bugs’ on this site but I’ll post it here anyway.
When I click on “reply” to a post I get the comment screen with the “post#screenname” stuff and it only stays for a couple of seconds. Then it switches to a blank comment page.
What gives? Am I missing an important step? Or is it a “bug”?

What threats? I’m not seeing any threats here; if anything, I see hotheaded bragging. Why does Rodan need to defend himself against you? You keep saying the same crap over and over; what’s the point? Finally, I find it ironic to read your outrage about the outings of some of you Lizards when the chief Lizard had already outed Rodan and Savage, as well as try to cause trouble for Richard Kent. Quite ironic.

Seems we have trodden somewhat the same past. I was banned from LGF for:
1. Questioning the idea of the “monitor lizards,” as in “who watches the lizards?” and down-dinging clique-trolls who were piling on favorite targets and blowing up all the threads.
2. Chewing out sharmuta & highrise while they were gleefully and mindlessly cutting the throat of a new hatchling.
Two different nics. I came back under a new nic because I felt I had been banned for patently unfair reasons, and felt that I could still try to post against the thuglizards in defense of what LGF used to be. After the last ridiculous banning (2-1/2 years ago I think), it was obvious that, at root, the blog owner was the problem.
So I quit trying to help. No what what pejoratives CJ threw out, my coming back under different nics wasn’t stalking. Actually, after donating money to the guy, I thought I was trying to help call out the thugs. Then I realized he was the thug enabler and a liar. So I didn’t go back.

It looks like they admit here that indeed it was honorary yooper outed. Not someone else as they claimed in 1.0 and DFM. Nor did Yooper rise to the defense of Hoosier Hoops when he could have.

You know, I’m a bit surprised Throbert McGee is still there. When he first began posting at LGF many moons ago, I dismissed him as someone mainly interested in shocking the straights with campy tidbits re: his sexual preferences and habits. Yeah, yeah, McGee, so we know you like hairy guys, so what?
But during the Terri Schaivo debate he showed a different side of himself. He was a passionate defender of letting Terri live, at both LGF and Discarded Lies. He wrote many long posts about it. (It’s a measure of how different LGF was in those days that neither he nor I were banned during that huge debacle, although we both bitched about LGF at Discarded Lies, which made NY Nana very upset with me. People were still allowed to disagree with CJ.)
Anyway, McGee has more depth than I had given him credit for. But he had better watch himself: if he goes around demonstrating doubts about abortion now, he’ll get the boot for sure. (I remember abortion was a verboten topic at LGF for years. because CJ thought it took the focus off of the WoT. True enough.)

Same thing happened to me. I mentioned how most of the threads go down hill when the mocking and insulting by Charles’ buddies occur. Told some dude (think it was Jimmah or svssatv I think) to FOAD and that I wasn’t no doormat. Then I think someone called Army Wife told me to take some chamomile tea or something. Bam, just like that my account got blocked.
The second time I got banned I noticed that he was deleting my comments and I think Dark_Falcon replied right after my comment. Some were wondering what the hell Dark_Falcon was replying to. But good ol charles deleted my comment.
I down dinged a Charles comment and had my account blocked.

I never felt very comfortable posting at LGF and didn’t comment much. I used to enjoy reading it though. Around the time of the Israeli – Hezbollah war with all the propaganda photo’s and such. The other day I down dinged a Charles comment and my account was immediately blocked. I couldn’t believe it. And actually at this point in the direction the blog is going, I don’t care.
I have posted more comments at Huffpo because at least they allow debate in the comments.
Count me as another former LGFer.
You may remember me from all the front page H/Ts I got. Back when that was fun.
I may have been banned. I’m not even going to bother to check.
BTW nice to see Infidel at the top of this thread. I remember him/her from long ago.

It’s amazing but at 10 days gestation (only 3 days after attaching to the wall of the uterus) that group of “cells” has a heart, a little pumping heart.
That would make The Maker the biggest abortionist of all time.
BTW Jews don’t consider it abortion until the 40th day. Also – to save the life or even mental health of the mother abortion is condoned.
My prescription – keep the government out of it. Abortion is Darwin in action.
