Najibullah Zaz and his father have been arrested in their Aurora, Colorado by Federal agents, This Jihadi went to NY and linked up with others to commit an attack. The worst part is he was a airport shuttle driver which begs a question. Was there no background check done on this man when he immigrated here? How did he get a job atg the airport?
Federal agents Saturday reportedly took Najibullah Zazi, the man under investigation in a terrorism probe in New York, and his father into custody after swarming his Aurora, Colo., apartment.
At 9:30 p.m., 15-20 law enforcement cars reportedly swarmed into the parking lot of Zazi’s apartment.
Both Najibullah’s Zazi and his father, Muhommad, were removed from the apartment in handcuffs.
Earlier in the evening, Zazi’s lawyer spokesperson Wendy Aiello told KDVR in Denver “we have not been contacted by the FBI.”
Zazi didn’t report for a fourth day of FBI questioning earlier Saturday so he could spend a much-needed day with his attorney, the attorney’s spokeswoman said.

Charles is too obsessive about it. For one thing, he’s not a scientist, so unless he takes it upon himself to study chemistry, biology, and cell biology, he has to rely totally on authority. And anyone who has followed the ID debate realizes how biased the arguments are, for and against.
There is no better case to argue Charles’s stupidty than his utter reliance on Dawkins, Coyne, and others as the foundation of his belief system.
I could never do that. Being interested in ID, and being distrustful of the argumenters, I put myself through a self-study course in chemisty and biology (which is ongoing).
Out of the bunch of them, pro and con, Behe is the one who has the best handle on the origin of life, imo.

The Catholics from the 14th Century first floated the idea of the Big Bang Theory…not termed that, but a single spark which began all…I would have to find the originator of the thought, but your ideas above are my belief as well. I went to a few Tea Parties in Charlotte back in April and July. I’m not saying there wasn’t some nutjobs there – but I CAN honestly say that I didn’t see any.
I’m sure chaz types would say the Irkle comparison is racist – but it has nothing to do with the color of his skin and more to do with the “did i do that?” part.

I have decided to divorce myself from LGF. I did so while reading LGF and posting some thoughts about the 9/12 event. My point was that, contrary to the way the event was painted on that site, it was not Nuremburg, and there was an overwhelming majority in attendance who were simply voicing their frustration in a typically American fashion. I felt that my view was a reasonable one.
Needless to say, my thoughts were dismissed as rubbish by Charles as well as the hallelujah chorus. Let it be known that I bear no hatred toward Obama, the person, but my disagreements with him on policy are legion. If that makes me a racist in the eyes of Charles Johnson, well, he is not the ultimate arbiter of truth, regardless of what he may think.
Last night, in one last plea on behalf of reason, I took exception to the down-dinging of a poster who brought up a perfectly reasonable point, and in doing so I asked “is this a discussion or a mob?” Needless to say, it was not well received.
Charles has become increasingly obsessed by his own righteousness and any opposing views are shouted down as extremist right-wing hate speech. The site itself has become inhabited almost exclusively by sycophants and Charles seems to exult in the admiration. It’s an echo chamber and not much more that a more moderate version of Kos. He seems to be purposefully purging, or at least alienating, anyone from the site that doesn’t toe the line.
The Left oft trumpets “free speech”, but in the end it always excludes and stifles that with which it disagrees and LGF is a textbook example of that.
There is a distinct lack of plurality in discussions of late and a plethora of cheering Charles opinions. Frankly, it’s become a form of intellectual masturbation in which I have no interest.
It is Charles’ site and he may do with it what he pleases. From now on, however, he can do so without me. I’ve spent too much time contributing to a site with which I now find I have more disagreement than agreement, and where disagreement is held in contempt.
I’ll make no grand statements upon my exit; it just prompts a brief and bloody feeding frenzy on the part of the sycophants. I’ve no doubt that I will become persona non grata soon enough, but it will be in absentia. Rather, I have left quietly, with a degree of dignity. Let the remaining posters and contributors exercise their options, and I’ll continue to exercise mine.

The wake up call for me took weeks. Denial is a powerful thing; one deludes oneself into thinking it is just a passing phase. It’s not.
When you were a once respected poster, and dare to question the “status quo”, even in a small way and the toadies commence the feeding frenzy, you know that it’s over.
There are posters over there that are no more that Charles’ groupies. They would agree with him regardless of what he says, and would defend him just to maintain their status on the site.
It’s a classic version of “groupthink” and, personally, I think that it’s an unhealthy environment.

I know exactly how you felt. I wish I had had the courage to leave when two of my dearest friends, ma sands and mama winger, were unjustly (IMHO) banned–but I kept my mouth shut because I liked the banter so much.
I found the blogmocracy because of Charles’s criticism of it. I learned that I often disagreed with the conclusions Charles drew from evidence, especially such as that about Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer.
I lurked around here for a while to get a feel for it and realized that THIS is where the true spirit of the “old” LGF had moved. I admit that I didn’t agree with the caustic comments of some blogmocrats, but they had their reasons for their passionate opinions.
Best of all, when I started commenting, I was welcomed for who I was–and here we’re all allowed to be who we are without being bullied.

I had to self-exile.
