Good morning everyone! I have come across a very disturbing story. The Totalitarian Progressive Democrat controlled Congress is now seeking to retaliate against the Health Insurance companies. The insurance companies know that Obamacare’s goal is to put them out of business, so naturally they are opposing this scheme. Fascist thugs Henry Waxman (D-Cal) and Bart Stupak, (D-Mich) have sent warning letters to insurance companies, asking for financial records in order to silence them.
In a move some fear is a reprisal for opposing President Obama’s health care plan, Democrats sent 52 letters to health insurers requesting financial records for a House committee’s investigation.
Reps. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., and Bart Stupak, D-Mich., sent a letter warning health insurers that the House Energy and Commerce Committee is “examining executive compensation and other business practices of the health industry.”
Waxman, chairman of the committee, and Stupak, chairman of the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee did not inform their Republican counterparts of their plans.
Health insurers have until Sept. 4 to provide Congress a detailed list of every employee who made over a $1 million dollars a year between 2003 and 2008. Democrats also want documents about conferences and any events held off company property as well as the types of transportation, lodging, food, entertainment and even gifts exchanged.
Is this the United States of America? The government blackmailing private companies for political reasons is a Totalitarian act. This is being done to scare the insurance companies into not opposing the eugenics based Obamacare.
Transnational Totalitarian Progressives will do anything to achieve their goals. Anyone who stands in the way of “Progress” must be eliminated or scared into supporting their agenda. They have done this before in Russia, China, Cuba, Venezuela and Germany.
Welcome to the Progressive Occupied States of America

Let’s see – the government using the power of the state to coerce private businesses into compliance with government dictates and desires.
That’s corporatism.
Which is a hallmark of fascism.
Someone needs to pull the jerk string on Booger Nose from Kalifornia. He’s usurping way too much power.

Spread the wealth around
They are doing this to powerful business, imagine the threat to ordinary citizens.
As another blog said, since the Obamatons hate profit they should also look into limiting the outrageous salaries of Hollyweirdos and scamsters like Al Gore.
Yeah right,I know.

Hahaha! but EWWWWW!
re: #5 by vagabond trader
This is really sickening.
re: #5 by vagabond trader
I heard that this morning and almost choked on my juice. The left sure don’t mind using religion to further their politics, but by GOD don’t let a school principal say a little prayer before people eat!
It’s time for the insurance companies to tell Obama and Co. to pound sand. There is no constitutional, legal basis for the government having *anything* to do with executive compensation anywise.
re: #9 by m
The case in Florida? They are facing jail time for invoking the name of G-d!!
This guy is telling pastors to use the pulpit for political issues.Any that do should lose their tax free status as special interest groups!
This is just like how Paulson & Co threatened the banks with audits unless they took bailout money.
Why force it on the ones that don’t want it?
As well as:
These good people face jail time and Hussein has the nerve?
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/aug/14/criminal-prayer-case-stirs-protests/
Why is this being tolerated. Can’t these people tell congress to go scr@w themselves. They’ve done nothing illegal and unless they can prove something illegal has been done they have no right to the records!
All this madness in less than a year! These fascists need to be stopped now!
re: #5 by vagabond trader
So, they’re now using The Bible,
and we’re using Saul Alinksy’s Rules for Radicals?
Sigh…
We have a mobster mentality at 1600. I have never in my lifetime seen an administration this blatantly corrupt. The Rs/conservatives still hitting the snooze button.

Does this really surprise you?? If so, you missed some things..
Recall that the “house bill” on health care uses the IRS as it’s hammer.
Recall The admin’s collection of emails that they had such a hard time admitting to.
Recall the TV and Cable networks downplayed the union thugs beating that town hall protester
(Either bias or intimidation from Obama, as chuckie points out, without a Secret Service document that has been notarized, then OKed and stamped by Information Retrieval can one rule out intimidation from Obama.))
just Recall Obama!!
Proof the American healthcare system is in need of repair!!!!

I’d guess that’s the engine size on his Harley, i.e., 88 cubic inch displacement.
I’ve used 140cid for a nic on another site.
spidly I didnt mean you personally missed anything…the “you” comment was for everyone
re: #24 by quiet man
I don’t know that Obama approved the beating of that man. In fact, I highly doubt he was directly involved in any way.
I am certain that he approved of it, though, and that his policies inspired it. He has the totalitarian mindset. He thinks his diktats should be law of the land, without this trouble over “representatives” who have “forgotten”
who owns their soulswho they work for.Charles just banned someone else on his gun thread.
That thread is a few days old, I put forth that he’s actively scanning it for anyone who doesn’t spout his hatred.
re: #28 by Foghorn Leghorn
That’s cool. My Harley only has an 80 CI engine
I’m used to 81 being Hell’s Angles and 88 being “Heil Hitler”. Overt the past few years I’ve learned more than I want to know about the White Supremacists. They really are out there, though not in anywhere near the number and power that Charles seems to think they are.
We don’t need that kind of shit around here. Hence my question. I once was acquainted with a man with a swastika tattoo on his hand. he was a Buddhist.
We would be fools to think Obama authorized or okayed such tactics against the town hll people..I am sure he didn’t. That type of simple thuggery we could counter and would not serve the ideological lefts purposes anyway.
What we have is rather worse tho..IMNSHO that is..When Obama heard of this, he somehow justified it internally. Regrettible but C’est la vie
I agree with you Obama’s policies inspired it, for sure. The manager sets the tone for the entire organization.
re: #32 by Iron Fist
Hmmm, wonder if Qweeg scans all comments #88 for sekrit Eurofascist clues.Would not surprise me.
re: #32 by Iron Fist
Mine isn’t harley, they measure in cc’s not ci’s.
Sounds more impressive, though, to say 805 cc rather than 50 ci.
heh.
re: #33 by quiet man
I don’t know about that. With his, “Get in their faces,” comment and authorizing his goon squads (union thugs) to infiltrate the town hall meetings in direct response to attack the American public, I’m not so sure you can’t say he didn’t authorized the assault!
The NAACP sure isn’t coming to the man’s aid!
re: #31 by LanceKates
But dont say he isn;t going leftesy any!!

That gun threat made some great points..such as why wasn’t charles and his astroturf standing up for the rights of the gun owners who were happily complying with the law??
re: #35 by LanceKates
Ah, but the Harley sounds more impressive.
Thumpthumpthump Thumpthumpthump Thumpthumpthump
Heh
I love my Harley, I truly do, but I could have gotten the same bike more or less for a third less going with a riceburner.
But it wouldn’t have said “Harley Davidson” on the gas tank…
re: #33 by quiet man
He has a very intimate relationship with the SEIU thugs to the tune of 27 cool mil in REPORTED contributions. I put nothing past any of them.Look at the sum total of his close associates and appointees not pretty and certainly not coincidental or naive.Don’t forget the infamous “Get in their faces” order from Candidate Obama.
re: #34 by vagabond trader

re: #36 by vapig
GMTA! No quarter and I will ding down the first poster who calls Barry naive.
Oh, never mind.
Oh, and my Harley has a 1450 cc engine. Bigger than a Honda Civic’s. I have no idea what the real top speed is, but she’ll get up and go when you crank the accellerator
CJ went after Jille on beck thread last night.
re: #38 by Iron Fist
Yeah, can’t afford one of those yet.
I’m thinking that, this spring, I’ll sell my bike, combine that cash with my income tax refund and should have around 5 grand to buy a newer, and maybe bigger, bike.
I’ll likely have to stick with the ‘rice burners’ . . . . Harleys and the other american-made bikes are just too expensive for my blood.
OT but….has anyone else noticed that it seems the average number of comments on LGF 2.0 threads has been rising steadily?
re: #36 by vapig
The white house did say “hit back twice as hard” as well..could be code for violence..but I am not buying that. I give Obama credit for being able to hit the floor with his hat..but that’s about all.. Pelosi I could see advocating violence..Since she is pretty dumb..but not The rock star.
Part of his personna is designed to make people underestimate him. Good salesman trick there.

re: #44 by LanceKates
You can get into a pretty nice Sportster for that kind of money. You won’t have all the chrome or custom paint, but the engine will be over 1200 ccs and it’ll be all Harley. There are times when I wish I’d taken that option. The Springer is a costly beast.
But damn, she is fine when I get to ride her. I’ve decided to trike her. The Girlfriend has promised that she’ll ride with me if I do. Trikes are cool. I’ll be OK with it.

re: #50 by vapig
The VA system seriously pisses me off.
Yes, for the troops who get hurt on duty, it is good.
For everyone else, no.
My father had serious problems with the arteries in his legs that the VA saw during a routine MRI.
They didn’t tell him about it and we wouldn’t have known ever, but a non-va doctor asked for a copy of his medical records from the va and saw the notes about it.
He had heart arythmia (sp?) and, it turned out, serious blockage in a few arteries. The VA kept putting him on other pills and told him he’d have to live with being constantly weak and dizzy (they didn’t know, or didn’t tell us, about the blockage).
Within a month of being out of the va and back on a private insurance company (and doctor system) he had a quadruple bypass and had 10 of his around 30 medications cut out.

They hated Bush because he existed and because he beat Gore (and Kerry).
Had nothing to do with anything he did. If you look at his actions, he was a moderate, at best, president.
His stances on illegal immigration, border security and his financial-sector bailout near the end of his presidency were all things that the left would have cheered for if it was anyone but Bush.
He was a GREAT President for liberals and moderates.

See now, it’s stories like yours plus medicare and the Indian Healthcare that just drive me crazy. If the gov’t is so damned cheap and incompetant in these areas what the *bleepity BLEEP* makes them think I want them anywhere NEAR our own healthcare?
Someone should explain to Roger that Terrorist control trumps thought control

re: #67 by LanceKates
Bush was kind of the ultimate Moderate President, and I think History will remember him far more kindly than the usual suspects today. He was elected on the thinnest of margins, and he still managed to accomplish a lot.
Winning the War in Iraq is his biggest victory, but his legacy through Roberts and Alito will thunder down the legal system for a generation. Heller wouldn’t have happened without Roberts and Alito. Heller is huge. That will reverberate as a victory for freedom for decades. That is probably why the Democrat controlled House and Senate have left gun control alone. Sontomayor won’t change the votes in Heller.
Thank God W didn’t follow in his father’s footsteps and nominate one conservative (Thomas is a jewel) and one Liberal (Souter sucked). That alone is a victory.
re: #67 by LanceKates
Yep! I used to point that out to libs (er, progressives!) all the time! That if he didn’t have that pesky (R) after his name they’d like him just fine. I know he irritated me waaay more than once!
They would usually respond by taking their ball and going home in a huff! Never had anything to dispute my claim.
re: #74 by vapig
The words you are looking for are fucking fuck. As in “What the fucking fuck makes them think I want them anywhere NEAR our own healthcare?”
I am a dentist so by definition I hate Insurance Companies. They are a pain in the ass. The only thing worse is the Government, both State and Federal. What a crock of shit to blame this on Insurance Companies. Anyway many of the problems that people percieve that Insurance companies cause cause could be legislated away with out destroying the system. Of course even that would probably cost more, but that’s another story.
re: #78 by Iron Fist
Yes……but I’m a lady….
re: #72 by Speranza
Jill E,I don’t think she was banned yet.
re: #79 by Nevergiveup
Yes, but if Insurance Companies were smart they would, themselves, regulate and self-police their policies that drive everybody crazy.
Take away the reason for the angst and you take away the progressives cudgel.

“masturbatory group think”
Charles can certainly handle himself and often does
re: #82 by vapig
Maybe but some of the changes such as no pre-existing conditions clauses and other things if not implimented both Industry wide and nation wide could and would bankrupt many of these Insurance companies and many of them are public companies. Also with out Tort reform, not sure they could even do it.
re: #84 by Speranza
Was anything deleated? l’ll go over brb.
re: #79 by Nevergiveup
The insurance companies do not send the IRS after you when you disagree with them…
I consider this alone worth choosing them
re: #71 by mary lee
She would be welcomed. I understand people’s reluctance to leave LGF, though. The community is very strong. People “know” each other, often for years. We are trying to make something like that over here.
Just without Charles.
re: #67 by LanceKates
Bush was a lot of things but as William F. Buckley said, “He is conservative but he is not a conservative”. You’re correct that the hatred directed against him was more personal then anything he actually did as POTUS. The same was true with Nixon. In fact Bush would have been right at home in the Johnson administration.

He’s another one that can’t seem to see past the “conservative = heartless and bad; liberal = caring and good” mindset that an ASTOUNDING (to me at least) number of people can’t seem to think beyond, with an almost inherent stubbornness.
I just think that some people, especially in the arts community, have invested so much of their heart and soul into lambasting the right that the devastation to their psyche if they wer to admit to themselves that they were wrong, would be too much to bear.

What you are saying is true and have to be addressed nationally such as tort reform and allowing Insurance Companies to compete across statelines (and congress won’t address those because they would work!).
However, the could and should address the red-tape nightmare they’ve created! Such a small thing would go along way in address public grievances.

re: #104 by vagabond trader
Israel is going to be called evil no matter what they do. They ought to just pull off the gloves and be evil for a year or two, and take care of the problem. Play B-17 over Berlin over the West Bank and Gaza until the Palestinians give up and surrender unconditionally.
Nooo..it was Cynthia McKinney!!
talk about your moonbat royalty!
re: #97 by vapig
Actually, I take that back. It doesn’t have to be done nationally. Texas seems to addressed the problem locally and doctors are flocking to that state.
Which means we really don’t need the *bleeping* gov’t to stick their filthy paws into this. We just need a state legislature that has the will to.
re: #94 by Bumr50
Ummm, I believe that those who target Israel above all other nations as the most oppressive, evil, murderous apartheid state on the planet are simply garden grown Jew haters. But thats just me.
re: #108 by vapig
that was mostly because of some local tort reform wasn’t it?
I have stepped away from carpet bombing as a political tool myself…**grin**

re: #104 by vagabond trader
Hey! Anybody know if Israel ever “let” Cynthia McKinney go? I remember she and her “crew” refused to sign papers saying they wouldn’t come back or admitting they broke international law, or something.
I know the Israelis wanter her gone – but she wouldn’t budge.
Any updates?
re: #98 by Speranza
That’s because you’re an independent thinker, and not part of the sheeple.
I only brought it up because it was an item in Breitbart’s Big Hollywood site.
It’s not like I care about his position, I’m more interested in the psychology behind his decision making process.
I guess I’m always trying to find different ways to make people see things from my point of view, as I think that would help make a change in public opinion.
re: #112 by vapig
Sometimes some people could make real personal nasty accusations at others. It might be anonymus but it can still sting and then all hell breaks loose.
re: #115 by vapig

This time we have lots of guns.
Oh, and the economy is collapsing again.
the Obama Depression proceeds apace. Trillions of dollars in stimulus money have been blown, and people are still without jobs. But the people who got the money are laughing all the way to the bank. I wish I’d gotten my bailout. I only wanted $5 million. Chump change, compared to what Obama’s friends have banked from their raid on the treasury.

What’s wrong with scalping Nazis? seriously, I read that the flick was getting good reviews in Germany, where the depiction of Hitler as something of a nancy-boy is going over well. So much for the thousand year Reich. He’s been reduced to commedy in less than 100 years.
Hello Speranza,My 134. was for you.
re: #135 by Iron Fist
Must see. I’ll never view them as comedic, pathetic and evil, yes. Ditto for their followers.
re: #135 by Iron Fist
While I understand your view, my fear is that Tarantino’s motivation is to distance the reality of World War II and everything surrounding it to schlock fiction, and therefore minimizing the comparisons young draw between global realities today and conditions in the 1920’s and 30’s.
Make it so outlandishly crazy that we’re DEFINITELY “more civilized” in today’s society and by virtue of our intellectual superiority would never find ourselves in such a situation.
People like Tarantino actually believe that Marxism can work if done properly.
re: #138 by Bumr50
The Nazis were outlandishly nuts. From the Carpet Eater on down, they were a collection of freaks. So much so that drug addict Herman Goerring seems quite normal by comparison. Where else would someone like julius Streicher be taken seriously? They were nuts, and they give us an excellent example of what can happen when you let nuts run your country.
re: #138 by Bumr50
Yeah, well you have people who believe that American Idol is real life.
This movie is not suitable for young children. You have to be either weak minded or uinformed if you cannot differentiate between fact and fiction. Plenty of history out there, its up to parents and schools to deceminate it.

Oh, noes! I got the forced refresh. Should I re-load (and continue firing)?
Nope. Shoot.
re: #127 by Iron Fist
I’ve been unemployed for almost 3 months now, since I got too close to being eligible for full retirement from the military (I don’t count as being unemployed, though, because they don’t count recently-separated military personnel in the figures).
So far, I haven’t even gotten so much as an email from a human in response to any of the jobs I’ve applied for.
Yeah, the economy’s doing just fine…
IE SUCKS!
IF, I’ll keep trying~ keep patience :}
re: #138 by Bumr50
People like Tarantino actually believe that Marxism can work if done properly.
One of my closest friends said something like that to me in 1997.”The trouble with communism is that it has not been applied correctly” or something like that and I said – “that’s what a Columbia education gets you”? Fortunately he has seen the light since then.
re: #142 by Bumr50
There you have it. Funny how many schools require that piece of junk science “Inconvenient Truth” to be shown to kids.
I don’t have kids in school but I’ll bet the Holocaust gets less airtime than the Gulf Wars.
re: #147 by lobo91
Yeah, the economy sucks. Me and the Girlfriend are trying to get out of debt. We fortunately have good, steady jobs, or at least as good and steady a job as you can have in America today. We don’t have any golden parachutes, so if we lost our jobs, we’d be fucked.
re: #149 by Speranza
Betcha The Obama believes the same!
re: #148 by m
You should have tried web programming back when Nutscrape was around. You’d have to write two web pages, one for Nutscrape, and the other for everything else.
Bleh.
re: #116 by Bumr50
Don’t forget that alas the British are now almost reflexively anti Israel.
Heh, Barry objects that the Libyan scumbag terrorist is being released. What a leader!
re: #151 by Iron Fist
Testeees… testeeees…
re: #150 by vagabond trader
Fingers, toes and eyes crossed for no forced refresh!
re: #129 by Bumr50
No kidding! Just wait until the Bush tax-cuts expire!
*shudder*
re: #131 by vagabond trader
I am skeptical of anything Tarantion’s does particularly if he is touching on the holocaust. My favorite movie of his (although uber violent)was one he wrote but did not direct – “True Romance”.
grrrrrrrrrrr … ok, break’s over, I’ll try again in a bit.
At least Ted Kennedy will die soon. Are we allowed to say that?
re: #136 by mary lee
Yeah I figured as much.
re: #151 by Iron Fist
What’s really puzzling to me is how few jobs there are available in the government/contractor sector at the moment. I live in Colorado Springs, with 5 military installations within a 20 minute drive, and there’s just nothing out there.
Well, that’s not entirely true. There are jobs available for ballistic missile defense experts, and other obscure specialties, but that’s about it.
With all the money that’s being pumped into the government these days, you’d think there would be some actual jobs created.
re: #139 by Iron Fist
Might I remind you that we currently have *nutz* running the country?

re: #150 by vagabond trader
Not only do they teach that garbage, some teach as though everything taught in the school is gospel.
Whatever happened to “question everything” that the liberals started in the 60’s?
I’m in the service industry, and after I was done explaining to a kid of about 16-17 why CO2 is not a pollutant, he stared with this blank look on his face.
I asked him why he was confused. He said “Butthey told us it was true in school!,” as though it would have never occurred to him that the school and/or his instructor were infallible.
Next these kids will go into the world, watch “World News Tonight,” and never think to question it.
Whatever happened to the scientific method?
re: #154 by Speranza
Thinking about modern British Jew hate. The Brits are Arabists. Many of their former colonies and holdings were Arab/Islamic.imho they have a romantic nostalgic concept of the Arab, like some Americans viewed the Indian as a Noble Savage.
re: #163 by lobo91
That’s because we don’t make anything here because the disparity between foreign and domestic labor is alarmingly, unbelievably, and dangerously huge.
re: #164 by vapig
Yeah, but not on the level of the nazis. If the nazis weren’t so evil, they’d be funny. Admittedly, the SS had the coolest uniforms ever, but who would have taken Heinrich Himmler seriously in any different setting? He’s a chicken farmer.
[sigh]

Where are you at geographically?
Got the forced refresh, M!
re: #166 by Bumr50
Close. They’ll actually be watching Jon Stewart for their news.
re: #167 by vagabond trader
Well maybe not.
But the fear came before the hate.
That’s how Islam rolls.
re: #171 by vapig
Me too. I’ll get it tho!

Colorado Springs. About 3 miles south of the south gate of the Air Force Academy.

It’s called The Lawrence of Arabia syndrome.
Anyone else have vista and use firefox? My pc isn’t that old but every time I open a page the wheel never stops spinning unless I hit the stop button. Drives me insane!
re: #169 by Iron Fist
Of course, the same is true of Kim Jong Il, or Qaddafi.
In a sane world, those two would be working the night shift at a 7-11.
re: #163 by lobo91
The stimulus is only stimulating the right people. You thought it would help average bums like you and me? Ha. Very ha. I’d sneer down my Ivy-League educated nose at you, but I didn’t go to an Ivy League school, so I guess I’m SOL.

I do but don’t have that problem.
My fiancee, however, can never get the quizzes to work on Facebook.
I have to use Agent Switcher.

Or the Chinless one in Syria. Why couldn’t I have been born the son of a Third World Dictator? Of course, that didn’t work out so well for Uday and Qusey, did it?
re: #161 by Iron Fist
Yeah – although you’ll probably be screen-shot and labelled a H8R! Teddy also don’t want to leave without naming his successor!
Seriously, though, while I might have an issue wishing someone evil would just give up the ghost, I do find it ironic that it’s the evil ones (i.e. Teddy, Castro, et al) who seem to just go on and on and on and on……ad nauseum!
re: #181 by Iron Fist
Actually, what I really thought would happen is that I’d be allowed to complete the last 11 months of active duty I need to qualify for my full retirement, so I wouldn’t be worrying about how I’m going to pay my mortgage in a few months.
re: #181 by Iron Fist
Brazil?
re: #161 by Iron Fist
Ted Kennedy really drowned in his sorrows.
Others just drowned.
re: #186 by vapig
I’m sure Caroline probably owns a house somewhere in Mass., so she can take over for him.
re: #163 by lobo91
OH! OH! I know the answer to that! I’m a gov’t contractor, too! I was out of work earlier for two months. It’s the contracts due to the admin change. They’re all in-flux! If you can just wait it out a bit, you’ll be just fine! Just keep putting yourself out there!
re: #188 by Bumr50
Shhhh! Next you will mention the name of egroeG soroS! Ack, his last name is the same backwards as it is forwards! The Evil One has been invoked!
re: #190 by lobo91
Looks like the wifey is next in line for the succession.
re: #193 by vagabond trader
Oh, yeah…I forgot about her.
One of his former staffers, isn’t she?
re: #193 by vagabond trader
That is the way the Demic Rats roll…
re: #169 by Iron Fist
I soooo disagree! I think these people in charge now are just as evil and crazy as the nazi’s! Look at what they are doing on a daily basis! Think about it! Death panels and eugenics within the first few months?
Also, don’t forget Husseins daddy was a goat herder!
re: #192 by Iron Fist
Part of the reason that I posted a million posts ago that I thought the inner circle at the executive branch was having serious problems shutting Obama up for five minutes was because IMHO Obama isn’t as happy being a soroS TOOL as soroS would like.
He’s one “audacious” MFer, I’ll give him that.
soroS will take him out if he crosses him. Somehow.
Speaking of the economy sucking:
Ouch. If Obama were a Republican, people would be comparing this to the Depression, and talking about how good thoose people had it living under FDR.
re: #197 by Bumr50
And blame reich-wingers for it, no doubt!
re: #196 by vapig
That’s right! Big Ears’ (never forget the ears. Persobnalize it and attack…) father was a goat herder! I wonder if someone showed a picture of a goat herder if Charles would call that person a racist?
re: #194 by lobo91
I believe so.Good riddance, lifer pols like him have done irreparable harm to our liberty.
Yeah, I’m harsh. Sue me.
Hey I’m #200!
I just wanted to be able to say that!
Aw heck! Missed by that much!

re: #198 by Iron Fist
Wait til all of these people that just bought a new car with their clunker that couldn’t afford a new car without the incentive have all kinds of trouble making their payments because of rising oil prices and a sagging economy.
Oh, and now they’re gonna do household appliances this fall.
But we saved the planet I guess.
re: #198 by Iron Fist
More problems when the 5 year ARMS readjust in 2010.
re: #191 by vapig
I’m really more interested in civil service jobs, since I can buy into the retirement system (sort of an issue for me, being 48). Contractor jobs would be my second choice.
I’m hoping things get better once the new fiscal year starts.
re: #196 by vapig
and a failed alcoholic socialist.
re: #205 by vagabond trader
Yeah. I’m really glad we were able to refinance into a 4.5% fixed back in May.
Now I just need some income so I can keep making the payments.
re: #204 by Bumr50
Yeah, that $4500 sounds good until you realize it comes with a $400 a month payment for the next five years. Repo, repo man! I want to be, a re-po man…
re: #208 by lobo91
Best of luck. If you are a person of faith you might want to ask Goddessoftheclassroom to put you on the prayer list.
re: #207 by vagabond trader
I don’t think that’s a fair description of Obama’s father.
According to everything I’ve read, he was very successful at being an alcoholic.
re: #209 by Iron Fist
What happened to that show? Yeah, you’d be a good one!
OT:
Via Free Republic and Yid with Lid: Is Fox News forcing Glen Beck to take a “vacation”?
re: #213 by The Osprey
What? I’m still trying to figure out what Beck said that wasn’t the stone cold truth.
Registration’s open at Chuckle’s place. If you’ve worn holes in your old “socks” time to get new ones! LOL.
re: #211 by lobo91
I’ll drink to that !
re: #215 by The Osprey
Hail Ceasar! We who are about to be banned salute you!
(I’m not registering a damned thing, but I wonder how many people Charles will ban as my socks?)
re: #133 by Iron Fist
I can vouch for that.
re: #213 by The Osprey
No, one of his assistants produced emails from early July where Glenn was advising he’d be off this week. He’s also on vacation from his radio show.
More raving from the Looney Left. Supposedly 16 of Glenn’s advertisers have removed their spots – what they don’t mention is that 26 more have signed up to advertise in their wake.
re: #209 by Iron Fist
Those SUV’s the Clunker Clique purchased should keep that “Operacion Repo” show on truTV on the air for another five years.
I think you’d be a good Repo man, Fist.
re: #219 by RightWing
Good! Who are the new advertisers? I’ll want to give them some “bidness”.
re: #217 by Iron Fist
I wonder how many conservatives and christians he’s banned and, to cover his ass, called them socks of folks here.
re: #222 by LanceKates
I believe it was Jehka who pointed out that after his banning, Chuckles said Jehka was “outa here” and also advised the membership that he had also banned all eight of Jehka’s sock puppets!
Except Jehka only had five sockpuppets. Somewhere there are three people scratching their heads going “WTF???”
All the details are at http://www.defendglenn.com – they keep the info current.
The Freepers have spent the last two weeks calling GEICO and cancelling their policies once new insurance was in place.
I don’t suppose these idiot companies even realized that the likelihood of a Glenn watcher using their products was higher than a member of Color of Government Gimmee.
I’m curious by what authority the House committee is demanding these records? I don’t see “investigations” as a Constitutional power of the House.
