Rahm Emanuel: The Power behind the Throne – Open Thread

Rahm Emanuel is increasing seen as the man behind the throne. He is a Radical Totalitarian Progressive, who use any means to impose his agenda. He is ruthless and a vicious, a product of the corrupt Progressive Machine of Chicago.

WASHINGTON — As White House chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel was the one to bring the hammer down on Sidney Blumenthal.

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton wanted to hire Mr. Blumenthal, a loyal confidant who had helped her promote the idea of a “vast right-wing conspiracy” more than a decade ago. But President Obama’s campaign veterans still blamed him for spreading harsh attacks against their candidate in the primary showdown with Mrs. Clinton last year.

So Mr. Emanuel talked with Mrs. Clinton, said Democrats informed about the situation, and explained that bringing Mr. Blumenthal on board was a no-go. The bad blood among his colleagues was too deep, and the last thing the administration needed, he concluded, was dissension and drama in the ranks. In short, Mr. Blumenthal was out.

This man must be exposed and stopped, for his goals are Totalitarian and a fundamental transformation of America. He is also a wannabe tough guy, but is really a coward with power.

Welcome to the Progressive Occupied States of America!

This is also an open thread.

Love it!!!! this stuff has got to be passed around.

  37. 37 | August 15, 2009 6:43 pm

What gets me laughing about LGF’s latest thread on the death panels is the claim by Charles Johnson about flimsy attempts at guilt by association, when he himself is guilty of similar flimsy attempts towards so-called “fascist enablers”.

And on top of that, Sharmuta applied a similarly flimsy attempt against Sarah Palin and her statements on death panels, absolutely taking things out of context. And when Sharmuta is called on it, she responds by calling it a “cute attempt”.

  38. OldDog
    38 | August 15, 2009 6:46 pm

The Death Panels was an attempt to get more people to look at the bill and it worked. Thats what has chuckles so upset.

Any success not directly attribted to A Darwanist or Progressive must be degraded at once!

  45. 45 | August 15, 2009 6:50 pm

As for Rahm Emanuel, he can be thwarted. Case in point, when he was in Congress and running the DCCC (Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee), one of his targets in the 2008 election was my own congressman, Mark Souder.

The opponent the DCCC was campaigning for could best be described as Barack Obama lite; no substance (or experience) and full of cheap campaign promises. Fortunately, the attacks leveled against Congressman Souder by the DCCC had no effect, as he defeated Barack Obama lite by a solid majority. (There’s a funny story about one of the DCCC’s mailings, by the way.)

So I know Rahm Emanuel can be thwarted in his efforts; we just have to keep at it.

buzzsawmonkey is a really cool and wise person. I wonder how long it will be until he leaves on his own.

You are so right. I have noticed a few of his posts in the last few months that contradict CJ’s opinions, albeit with his usual diplomacy and aplomb. That indicates to me that he has grown suspect of what LGF has become but enjoys interacting with the other lizards. I don’t think he will be purged but more likely he will just fade away due to lack of interest in LGF or finding a different place.

I also wonder how long Lawhawk will stick around.

And things are getting testy lately between CJ and Walter L. Newton. As they should, in my opinion. Walter is an abrasive individual and I can see how he would rub anyone the wrong way.

I don’t remember how long ago it was but one night Charles posted his thoughts about instituting a monitor lizard thing since he couldn’t be on the site at all hours. He thought if some lizards could be charged with keeping the peace (read: report to CJ posts that could be problematic) then his site could be monitored at all times.

It was a semi-big deal if I recall correctly. There was a lot of discussion about it.

I know that Realwest has been there a while but Walter is sort of a newbie to me. I remember when he first started posting and used to “sign” each post with “Walter in Golden, Co” or something like that. I don’t fault him for it since he had no experience with blogs or community sites. Finally after weeks (months?) of signing his posts someone finally told him that it wasn’t necessary. I think he may appear like an old-timer to some but it’s due to his numerous comments. He became a LGF “celebrity” in a short time as a result of frequency and caustic comments, in my opinion. Some love him, some hate him, but most just tolerate him.

Given what I see now at his site I’m not so sure he would be hammering Obama or Emanuel even back in the “glory days” of LGF. Maybe the lizards would be hammering them but I think a lot of us were projecting our beliefs and opinions onto him and his site all the while not realizing that CJ was and is a progressive liberal. We all know what happened to his biking site after 9/11 and I have to believe he was just another liberal that became scared by Islamic “extremists” and couldn’t understand how his worldview just became so compromised and thus was born LGF as we knew it.

In other words, had 9/11 not happened CJ would have never supported someone like Bush or his policies. I’m convinced he voted for Gore in 2000.

Just think of the Obamanations life as if his CLOSE PERSONAL associations with criminals , terrorists and communists and American hating Pastors were not enough. There is no public evidence, no actual documentation, of an Obama birth — none — nada — zero — zilch! It’s the Immaculate Deception.

There is evidence a birth was reported — from data that could have been created any time after the birth — but that evidence has been discredited as counterfeit by at least three qualified examiners.

There’s no evidence of a marriage between Stanley Anne Dunham and Barack Obama Sr. — no “marriage announcement” — no blood tests — no marriage license — no photographs — no minister, judge or guru — no witnesses or guests — no cake — no limo — no one caught the garter or the bouquet — there wasn’t a bridal shower.

The first and only known reference to a marriage appears in Anna’s 1964 divorce filing, a sworn court document that contains demonstrably false statements. There’s no evidence that Obama Sr. was ever served with a copy — Senior was in Africa. Whatever facts Ann Dunham provided to her attorney were her version of the facts of the relationship. Funny thing, one the best documented parts of Anna’s life are her divorces.

There’s no evidence that Anna and Obama Sr. ever lived together except a questionable “birth announcement” and there’s no evidence that Barack Obama Sr. is the father of Obama.

I find the 1972 visit interesting. A lot of things were coming together in 1972. Anna brought “Barry” to Hawaii from Jakarta — somebody got Barry lined up to attend the prestigious Punahou School — Senior was sliding out of favor with his superiors in the Kenyan government — and out of the blue — another coincidence — Senior shows up in Hawaii — “on family business” — the only time the two Obamas laid eyes on each other. What brought Senior to Hawaii — in and out — “on family business.” Was a deal made?

No state, county, city or town has declared itself the birthplace of Obama.

No hospital claims Obama was born in its facility or on its grounds — no doctor claims to be the person who brought the Obamamessiah into the world — no midwife, nurse or nurse’s aid has ever claimed they were present at the blessed event — there’s no delivery room imprint of baby Barack’s footprint.

There’s no original “Certificate of Birth” — none — nada — zero — zilch — and nobody has ever said they saw one — no one has ever said, “I have seen Barack Obama’s original birth certificate.” — no one, except Obama, himself.

On page 26 of “Dreams…,” Obama writes, “I discovered this article, folded away among my birth certificate and old vaccination forms, when I was in high school….”

Now there’s no birth certificate or old vaccination forms — there’s no scrapbook either — there’s nothing. Remember Obama’s raid on grandmother Madelyn’s typical white apartment, the evening of her death — Obama made sure his life was clean — whatever mementoes and records were in the 86 year-old’s apartment accompanied Madelyn to the other side — their ashes are also in the Pacific — the only real things in his life are in the Pacific — and Michelle was video’d jumping onto Obama in an expression of delight — odd behavior at a burial — why’d she do that?

Do you know what we do have? We got Obama’s word that he’s on the level.

There are no physical paper documents related to Obama during the first five years of his life in the public domain — and, there isn’t a single piece of paper that documents the relationship of Stanley Ann and Senior in the year proceeding his life. There is nothing.

What Obama offers up is an alleged “autobiography” that is so full of lies, misrepresentations and mischaracterizations that it is correctly described as mythology.

People have been know to puff up a resume or two, but few have ever made up a complete life history — and that’s exactly what “Dreams…” is — it’s a myth — Obama’s idealized version of his life — but it’s all made up — like Obama, it isn’t real — but it was first — now, it’s what most people know about him. It’s Obama’s version of the facts — demonstrably so — but he wants us to know that he’s on the level.

Obots say they have documentation — they have Obama’s “Certification of Live Birth (COLB),” which they always describe as a “birth certificate,” and the magic birth announcements — both “discovered” in the summer of 2008. Somebody in the campaign obviously decided that Obama could be nominated and they better come up some documentation — somebody might ask if the guy was eligible.

Obama’s “birth certificate” (COLB) appeared on June 12, 2008 on the DailyKos website without any reference as to who released it. There is no provenance explaining where the “birth certificate” (COLB), with the certificate number blacked out, came from. In Hawaii, birth certificates aren’t publicly available and reporters’ requests for one have been ignored for months. There is no explanation as to which official vouches for its origins or its authenticity.

Hawaii’s Hawaii State Registrar, Dr. Alvin T. Onaka, was asked if Janice Okubo, public information officer for the Hawaii Department of Health, had confirmed that his office produced a 2007 COLB, date-stamped June 6, 2007, with Obama’s birth information on it. His response was, “Absolutely not. No one in our office confirmed it.”

At least one judge has used the Internet COLB to dismiss a challenge to Obama’s eligibility.

And the birth announcements that appear out of the ether on July 22, 2008, raise more questions than they answer. The “birth announcement” is on microfilm/fiche from the Honolulu public library. The microfilm shows a notice placed in the Sunday Advertiser, and dated August 13, 1961. The announcement in the “Births, Marriages, Death” section reads: “Mr. and Mrs. Barack H. Obama, 6085 Kalanianaole Hwy., son, Aug. 4.”

The problem is, Orland Scott Lefforge owned and occupied the house at 6085 Kalanianaole Highway. The “Obamas” didn’t live there. Mrs. Lefforge just happened to die 10 days prior to the appearance of the birth announcement that listed her address, so we can’t ask her. But we do know that the next door neighbor told investigators that, “his mama, and his papa never lived there.”

Beatrice Arakaki affirmed she was a neighbor of the address listed. She has lived at her current residence of 6075 Kalanianaole Highway from before 1961 to the present. Mrs. Arakaki told investigators that “his ‘mama,’ and his ‘papa’ never lived there.” Arakaki told investigators that she had no recollection of Obama being born or of the family living next door having a black child born to a white mother.

Not a shred of evidence links the Dunhams or Obamas to Kalanianaole Highway. Kalanianaole only surfaced in connection with the Obamas in July 2008. I don’t think you’ll be seeing a commemorative plaque on the old homestead anytime soon.

There is no evidence of Anna’s whereabouts in July 1961. If we knew where she actually was in July 1961, we would have half the puzzle solved. But we don’t.

We know that Anna lived apart from Senior — he in Hawaii — she in Seattle. Senior never spent one day under the same roof as his namesake. Anna returned to Hawaii after Senior returned to Africa to complete her degree, and begin Obama’s education. She enrolled Obama in the Noelani Elementary School Kindergarten.

Now, get this — Obama’s kindergarten records went missing from the the State of Hawaii Department of Education. Millions of kids go through Hawaii’s kindergartens. Damned bad luck! Obama’s kindergarten records have been “lost.” Just another strange coincidence in a series of coincidences.

This loss is important, because Kindergarten records for original school entry would have contained Obama’s REAL Certificate of Birth and an application with the following:

    • His Legal name
    • Parents or Legal Guardians’ names
    • Date of Birth
    • Place of Birth
    • Vaccination Records (revealing a timeline to the place and DOB)

And although Obama has had a first-class education, that spanned 25 years, there is only a single document that has ever been released — an application for admission to the Fransiscus Assisi Primary School in Jakarta, Indonesia — the document was discovered by independent investigators.

The Obots attacked that authentic document, because it identifies Obama as a Muslim and a citizen of Indonesia. It’s really something! They love all his phony documentation, but attack the one actual piece of paper that has been released to the public — and, there’ll be nothing else coming from Indonesia.

Our guy in Jakarta reports that on the 3rd of July 2007, U.S. Congressman Eni Faleomavaega touched down in Jakarta, Indonesia on one of those wonderful, taxpayer-paid junkets. According to his Indonesian sources, the “officials” who accompanied Faleomavaega were interested in acquiring any and all documentation or photographs of a young Barry Soetoro for America’s “national archives” and they were offering cash, lots of it. In a show of faith, Barack Obama’s childhood school would be one of the very first beneficiaries of this outpouring receiving thousands of dollars to upgrade the school and for the purchase of computer equipment, thanks in part to the benevolence of this visiting junket.

There followed a lifetime of “missing” documentation — but it must a coincidence — it has to be a coincidence — just keep telling yourself, “it’s a coincidence.”

Obama/Dunham divorce — Released (by independent investigators)
Soetoro/Dunham marriage license — Not released
Soetoro adoption records — Not released
Punahou School records — Not released
Soetoro/Dunham divorce — Released (by independent investigators)
Selective Service Registration — Released — Probable counterfeit
Occidental College records — Not released and vigorously defended
Passport records — Not released and official government passport files scrubbed clean by John O. Brennan — now Obama’s terrorism and intelligence czar

    Just a coincidence?

Columbia College records — Not released
Columbia thesis — “Soviet Nuclear Disarmament” — Not released
Harvard College records — Not released
Harvard Law Review articles — None
Illinois Bar Records — Not released
    Baptism certificate — None
Medical records — Not released (unless you count a one-pager from his personal physician saying Obama’s healthy)

    Just a coincidence?

Law practice client list — Not released
University of Chicago scholarly articles — None
Annenberg Challenge Board Minutes — None
Illinois State Senate records — None
Illinois State Senate schedule — Lost

Almost 50 years old and there’s no paper trail — coincidence, Would you hire someone with this curriculum vitae? The man is completely undocumented. You don’t know anything about Obama — operative word, KNOW. None of us really do because he and his life are undocumented — an impossible coincidence — and Obama fiercely defends the release of what documentation is available.

Some of us believe that something isn’t on the level and that we are entitled as United States citizens to ask any damned politician who he is, what his politics are, what his agenda is, where he came from and who sent him.

You do know Obama could end all of this with a single phone call — why doesn’t he press the button?

First Lady Requires more than 20 Attendants

Don’t you think it is time to call, write, fax, email voicing your displeasure at the waste in government spending?
There has never been anyone in the White House at any time that has created such an army of staffers whose sole duties are the facilitation of the First Lady’s social life. One wonders why she needs so much help, at taxpayer expense, when even Hillary
only had three; Jackie Kennedy one; Laura Bush one; and prior to Mamie Eisenhower social help came from the President’s own pocket.
Note: This does not include makeup artist Ingrid Grimes-Miles, 49, and “First Hairstylist” Johnny Wright, 31, both of whom traveled aboard Air Force One to Europe…Recession??, Depression??,
    What, Michelle Worry?

    Dr. Paul L. Williams

“In my own life, in my own small way, I have tried to give back to this country that has given me so much, she said. “See, that’s why I left a job at a big law firm for a career in public service, ” Michelle Obama
No, Michele Obama does not get paid to serve as the First Lady and she doesn’t perform any official duties. But this hasn’t deterred her from hiring an unprecedented number of staffers to cater to her every whim and to satisfy her every request in the midst of the Great Recession or Great Depression. Just think Mary Lincoln was taken to task for purchasing china for the White House during the Civil War. And Mamie Eisenhower had to shell out the salary for her personal secretary. How things have changed! If you’re one of the tens of millions of Americans facing certain destitution, earning less than subsistence wages stocking the shelves at Wal-Mart or serving up McDonald cheeseburgers, prepare to scream and then come to realize that the benefit package for these servants of Miz Michelle are the sameas members of the national security and defense departments and the bill for these assorted lackeys is paid by John Q. Public:

    1. $172,2000 – Sher, Susan (Chief Of Staff)
    2. $140,000 – Frye, Jocelyn C. (Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of Policy And Projects For The First Lady)
    3. $113,000 – Rogers, Desiree G. (Special Assistant to the President and White House Social Secretary)

    4. $102,000 – Johnston, Camille Y. (Special Assistant to the President and Director of Communications for the First Lady)
    5. Winter, Melissa E. (Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief Of Staff to the First Lady)
    6. $90,000 – Medina , David S. (Deputy Chief Of Staff to the First Lady)
    7. $84,000 – Lelyveld, Catherine M. (Director and Press Secretary to the First Lady)
    8. $75,000 – Starkey , Frances M . (Director of Scheduling and Advance for the First Lady)
    9. $70,000 – Sanders, Trooper (Deputy Director of Policy and Projects for the First Lady)
    10. $65,000 – Burnough, Erinn J. (Deputy Director and Deputy Social Secretary)
    11. Reinstein, Joseph B. (Deputy Director and Deputy Social Secretary)
    12. $62,000 – Goodman, Jennifer R. (Deputy Director of Scheduling and Events Coordinator For The First Lady)
    13. $60,000 – Fitts, Alan O. (Deputy Director of Advance and Trip Director for the First Lady)
    14. Lewis, Dana M. (Special Assistant and Personal Aide to the First Lady)
    15. $52,500 – Mustaphi, Semonti M. (Associate Director and Deputy Press Secretary To The First Lady)
    16. $50,000 – Jarvis, Kristen E. (Special Assistant for Scheduling and Traveling Aide To The First Lady)
    17. $45,000 – Lechtenberg, Tyler A. (Associate Director of Correspondence For The First Lady)
    18. Tubman, Samantha (Deputy Associate Director, Social Office)
    19. $40,000 – Boswell, Joseph J. (Executive Assistant to the Chief Of Staff to the First Lady)

This adds up to $1,216,200 and the salary list is not complete. Note who wrote the story not the U.S. press, but the Canadian Free Press. Kudos to them! Copyright 2009 Canada Free Press.Com

    re: #158 by Pragmatist

I find the 1972 visit interesting. A lot of things were coming together in 1972. Anna brought “Barry” to Hawaii from Jakarta — somebody got Barry lined up to attend the prestigious Punahou School — Senior was sliding out of favor with his superiors in the Kenyan government — and out of the blue — another coincidence — Senior shows up in Hawaii — “on family business” — the only time the two Obamas laid eyes on each other. What brought Senior to Hawaii — in and out — “on family business.” Was a deal made

    ?

1972 was the year my father received orders to Honolulu, and I entered Punahou as a 7th grader. Another odd coincidence, we entered Punahou the same year. I am one year older than Obama, he graduated in 1979.

I only saw Obama a few times on campus. There weren’t that many blacks there, so he stood out. I remember once when I was at “the Academy” (Punahou’s High School) he and I stared at each other across the quad for some reason, and there was something malevolent (hate whitey?) in his gaze. But I had completely forgotten about him until he gave that speech at the 2004 Dem convention.

I wish I could get a group of Punahou alums together who could put pressure on the school to release his records. I don’t know that I could find that many who oppose him though. Hawaii, despite having a RINO repub governor, is a Dem owned state. The left is powerful there in the labor unions and the University. I was never one of the “popular kids” at Punahou…few of those of us who were military brats were. Punahou is ecstatic that one of their grads is President. He’s been on the cover of the “Punahou Bulletin” that is sent to alumni numerous times.

I find this whole situation terribly frustrating. It feels like a lot of Vietnam era wounds have been opened again.

    Thanks for your informative post.
