New Bill to allow White House to lock up Opponents?

You read the headline correct, that would be the end result of an Amendment introduced by Rep. Alcee Hastings to the defense authorization bill. If a Republican introduced this type of legislation, the Progressive Media would be on the attack.

What’s wrong with this picture? The federal government spends billions on homeland security, but apparently can’t stop foreigners from illegally crossing the border or overstaying their visas. The Obama administration wants to bring violent terrorists captured overseas to the mainland and close the military detention center at Guantanamo Bay. Yet in the latest bizarre twist, legislation quietly making its way through Congress would give the White House power to categorize political opponents as hate groups and even send Americans to detention centers on abandoned military bases.

This is Fascism pure and simple.

Rodan, I changed the font to make it easier to read.

    Rodan,

you missed the choice quote of what they considered the problem:

[The] amendment to the defense authorization bill…gives Attorney General Eric Holder sole discretion to label groups that oppose government policy on guns, abortion, immigration, states’ rights, or a host of other issues.”

In other words, a law czar to bypass the Constitution. Remember when the leftist screamed about Bush/Cheney?

Won’t make a fucking bit of difference. Who actually controls the House of Representatives? Your caring Rep, Nancy Pelosi, that’s who. And she will never be unseated.

A little gem from her Wiki page

In the runoff against Republican candidate Harriet Ross, Pelosi received more than a 2 to 1 majority of cast votes in a turnout that comprised about 24% of eligible voters.[111] Since then, Pelosi has enjoyed overwhelming support in her political career, collecting 76 and 77 percent of the vote in California’s 5th congressional district for the 1988 and 1990 Race for U.S. House of Representatives. In 1992, after the redistricting from the 1990 Census, Pelosi ran in California’s 8th congressional district, which now covered the San Francisco area. She has continued to post landslide victories since, dropping beneath 80 percent of the vote only twice.

We are totally fucked. Our vote don’t mean shit!

So, does the fact that I have NRA stickers and Marine stickers and McCain stickers on my truck make me a threat? Oh and the fact that I didn’t abort either of my children is a mark in the “con” column.

Only in the last week someone posted something about that exactly actually. A guy was pulled over and had his legal guns confiscated based on the fact that he had American flag and NRA stickers all over his vehicle.

So to answer your question: yes.

We are on the brink of losing our country to socialists and Marxists and the fact of B. Hussein being elected POTUS serves to buttress this inexorable movement. The left are mad enough, and hell bent, with attaining power they are willing to give up their inalienable rights to gain it and keep it.

What they don’t realize is they have opened the door and laid down the Welcome Mat to the most vicious Imperialistic movement the world has ever seen. Islam.

The mooks don’t get it, and when the scimitar falls they will wail, ‘we didn’t know it would come to this’, as they breath their last thought.
