The Stimulus Dud divides Democrats
Going into debt to stimulate the economy was a dumb idea to begine with. What was needed was revamp of the Tax code to created a more competitive environment for business, emphasize savings and discourage Outsourcing. However Mr. Hussein and his Progressive followers wanted to go retro, back to the 1930’s!
July 8 (Bloomberg) — Democrats who control the levers of power in Washington are divided over whether to push for more deficit spending to end the recession and stem job losses, complicating the possibility of a second stimulus bill.
“We need to be open to whether or not we need further action,” House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, a Maryland Democrat, told reporters yesterday. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada countered that “there is no showing to me that another stimulus is needed.”

What makes this even worse is that most of the so called stimulus projects are slated to start next year and beyond. This was a waste of money and just increased our debt.

Ah, ah, ah. It’s “Climate Change” now. Which as a Rep in Congress so aptly pointed out means that they got it wrong the first time with their Anthropogenic Global Warming.
You all are missing the point. They want the economy to collapse!
It isn’t about propping up or destroying the economy.
When the stimulus was passed, half of it was slated to get spent in 2010, the other half is to be spent in 2012, both on Congressionally decided projects.
Now, what is special about 2010 AND 2012? Think…. November…
THAT is what the bill was about. One giant voter-buyoff.
The RESULT of the action is ever-increasing unemployment (beyond that which we were told we’d face if we did nothing), higher taxes, less freedom and more uncle sam in your pocket.

No shocker there. Muslims are given priority with the whole refugee status. Meanwhile they did nothing to help Chaldean and Assyrian Christians from Iraq.
