Taliban buying children for suicide bombers

Pakistan’s top Taliban leader, Baitullah Mehsud, is buying children as young as 7 to serve as suicide bombers in the growing spate of attacks against Pakistani, Afghan and U.S. targets, U.S. Defense Department and Pakistani officials say.

A Pakistani official, who spoke on the condition that he not be named because of the sensitive nature of the topic, said the going price for child bombers was $7,000 to $14,000 – huge sums in Pakistan, where per-capita income is about $2,600 a year.

“[Mehsud] has turned suicide bombing into a production output, not unlike [the way] Toyota outputs cars,” a U.S. Defense Department official told reporters recently. He spoke on the condition that he not be named because of ongoing intelligence efforts to catch Mehsud, a prime target for a U.S. and Pakistani anti-Taliban campaign.

An apparent U.S. effort to kill Mehsud last week failed. On Sunday, the Pakistani government offered a reward of about $615,300 for information leading to the capture of Mehsud, dead or alive. The U.S. State Department has offered a bounty of $5 million for Mehsud, who is thought to be hiding in the tribal areas near the Afghan border.

The rest….

This is beyond disgusting. Taking advantage of the weakest in society for their own personal gain. How “righteous” of them.

This is simply the logical extension of how liberals use children. Liberals seek to destroy society as it is, and they use “THE CHILDREN” as their shock troops. They load them up with ideological bombs, get them into your midst then blow them up. They even work extra hard to blow those children up before they are ever born.

Sadly, this is not new or unique. During their war with Iraq, the Iranian mullahs used children to clear mine fields before sending in the troops. The kids would be issued plastic keys to paradise around their necks.

    Sick G-dless heathens.

We know a young man involved in a forward op there. His makeshift base was attacked, he was knocked out by the concussion, woke up under fire, alone. Got behind a big gun and just let loose, sending a pile of taliwackers to the demon allah.

Well, since they aren’t allowed to eat an animal after they traveled the Hershey Highway with it, they better not practice here.

It’s easy to understand God’s commands to the Israelites to wipe out certain civilizations when you read about such things.

    re: #28 by vagabond trader

I’ve been trying to formulate a Thread about how secular people interpret religion/G-d/etc., and accordingly replace actual Religion with their Leftist/Liberal leanings, and how that could actually contribute to most of the problems we see today, but can’t quite focus my thoughts.

The point however is that G-d is not a hippy, wants balanced justice (not the justice we now have where it is emotionally based), and how some of the most draconian Religious rules (ie: stoning of adulterers) over time could actually make such activity non-existent, etc and thus have caused a more perfect world.

We are on a continuous slide towards a more hedonistic, emotional World, and things are getting worse. Yet, no one seems to really stop and think about what all this “humanism”, and excusing of bad behavior is having on the overall (over decades, if not longer) society. Would a death penalty for Adultery or stealing, or the like not have a chilling effect on those types of behaviors and thus cause a more perfect society? Has the loosening of morality, and excusing of bad behavior directly contributed to more bad behavior?

    Something like that.

Wrath, we don’t need cap punishment for bad behavior we need a renewed sense of shame, a 21st century scarlet letter if you will.Amorality is valued by the secular progs, nothing good nothing bad all equal.Kids are steeped in this from a young age by the statist schools, thats where you have to start, the kids.

Yes I believe that we need to begin with the schools as that is where they are now being taught Nothingism (ie: nothing good, nothing bad, do whatever you feel, you are a start…blah blah blah).

But my question is not where are we, but how we got here, and thus my point was that possibly this all would/could have been avoided by the stricter Biblical laws. You can state that Capitol Punishment is not needed but the lack of it has allowed us to get where we are. You can also say that we only need to shame people, but the lack of these harsh sentences have led to a situation where we no longer feel shame. I propose reevaluating the root instead of the branches on the tree.

There are of course no records to verify this, but I would strongly assume that there weren’t too many Adulterous people, etc. in Biblical times, and there are definitely less in communities now who believe in Biblical principles.

It could also be argued that alongside religious beliefs in ancient times a cohesive family union wasn’t a mere convenience it was a necessity for survival, hence the harsh justice for those who strayed. The man provided food, protection, the woman reared children and maintained the household.I’m not arguing the influence of religious belief then and now, just don’t think there will be a widespread resurgence of faith and adherence to biblical morality. Unfortunate because it is essential for the health of society, no matter what the seculars think. Then again if things get really horrible, the churches and synagogues may see an uptick in believers.
