I was looking for some Big 3 stomp by Dixon but couldn’t find it on youtube.

It is often asked how Jews can support the Democrat party (and now Obama) despite it being so overtly anti-Israel. (I’m not sure I would say they all are Anti-Israel but I digress)

Here is an interesting article sort of on the subject: Melanie Phillips: He Doesn’t Get It.

I began an interesting, possibly lucrative research project today.

I read the NYT microfilm archives from 1976-77.

The First article, “PLO Is Down, But Probably Not Out”.

Ya can’t pick up the NYT without a terrorist sob story. No matter what the date.

This is the NY Jew’s paper of choice…I tell my wife to keep it outta the house!

Try Firefox, you can adjust your font size with the browser. This can be done for all of the websites you visit and Firefox will remember the font size for each website.

    Spare ribs?

Mustard rub then your dry rub?

Smoke for how long, over what?

  48. no2liberals
    48 | July 2, 2009 7:55 pm

    re: #47 by bar
Mustard is your thing, not mine.
A light coating of oil, then rub, then twelve hours at about 175-200, with hickory.

  49. no2liberals
    49 | July 2, 2009 7:55 pm

    re: #47 by bar
After the rub, I seal them in plastic wrap, and place in the fridge overnight.
The twelve hours is negotiable, maybe ten, though these are some hefty, meaty ribs.
I also take my pliers, and remove that piece of connective tissue that lays on the back of the ribs.

    re: #48 by no2liberals

    Glad to hear it.

I was just hoping that you were not cooking them for 4 hours and calling them done!
I can see where oil would work just fine and even better than mustard.

10-12 hours at that temp is perfect. That should be falling off the bone tender and not dry.

  53. no2liberals

    re: #51 by bar
The light oil helps seal in the low moisture level of pork, and helps the rub flavor marry the meat.
I go for pink to the bone, not falling off the bone.
I like my ribs dry, with some sauce on the side for an occasional dip.
