We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.
Play nice!

I couldn’t find this one on youtube, which isn’t surprising really, but I’ve been hooked on this short album recently. Recently being, oh, the last entire year…
It is often asked how Jews can support the Democrat party (and now Obama) despite it being so overtly anti-Israel. (I’m not sure I would say they all are Anti-Israel but I digress)
A George Michael type I see. I told my wife he (George Michael) was gay from day one, she denied it and she has great gaydar. I think she knew but didn’t want to admit it.
Oh man!
I don’t believe it. My favorite Albert Collins song, and it’s finally on a video.
He gets into an argument with his wife, and the guitar does the talking.

I’m getting ahead of myself. Posting my best Friday night videos, and it’s only Thursday.
It must be those St. Louie ribs in my fridge, waiting to be massaged and rubbed tomorrow.
re: #47 by bar
After the rub, I seal them in plastic wrap, and place in the fridge overnight.
The twelve hours is negotiable, maybe ten, though these are some hefty, meaty ribs.
I also take my pliers, and remove that piece of connective tissue that lays on the back of the ribs.
I was just hoping that you were not cooking them for 4 hours and calling them done!
I can see where oil would work just fine and even better than mustard.
10-12 hours at that temp is perfect. That should be falling off the bone tender and not dry.
re: #51 by bar
The light oil helps seal in the low moisture level of pork, and helps the rub flavor marry the meat.
I go for pink to the bone, not falling off the bone.
I like my ribs dry, with some sauce on the side for an occasional dip.
re: #59 by savage
Glad the tip helped, though a little surprised that an old innernut maven like you didn’t know that already.
Cash is good, but I don’t want any Cali IOUs.
Don’t get me going with da blues!

I was looking for some Big 3 stomp by Dixon but couldn’t find it on youtube.
Huge fan as well of Otis Rush.
“Lionheart” charges dropped.
One in the eye for the faux-nazi hunters.

Fantastic whiskey and relax’n tune:

Here is an interesting article sort of on the subject: Melanie Phillips: He Doesn’t Get It.
I began an interesting, possibly lucrative research project today.
I read the NYT microfilm archives from 1976-77.
The First article, “PLO Is Down, But Probably Not Out”.
Ya can’t pick up the NYT without a terrorist sob story. No matter what the date.
This is the NY Jew’s paper of choice…I tell my wife to keep it outta the house!

Outstanding!
Thanks for the link.
Perhaps there is a glimmer of hope for the forces of good in the UK to prevail over evil islam.

How do you embed the video ?
re: #16 by BuddyG
It might be admin hoobah-joobah, but I copy the embed code, and paste it here.
re: #7 by WrathofG-d
Melanie Phillips is great.
re: #17 by no2liberals
hoobah-joobah sounds like a good title for a blues song
For those of you who like me, love the Blues

It do, don’t it?
Or a candy bar.
re: #20 by Speranza
Two of the best ever.
I always loved to go see this guy live, he had a presence that doesn’t come across as well on video.
How can you go wrong with Louis?
re: #23 by bar
I always loved ol’Louis.
re: #24 by no2liberals
Yeah, I didn’t like blues so much until I heard Louis.
Now I am down for that!
Or in 80’s lingo, dude that is soooo coool!
Its like tubeular, yeah know?
I am so stoked!!!!!!
I liked Long John Baldry, too. He was under rated.
What awesome music everyone, thanks!
re: #26 by no2liberals
Long John Baldry (who was bisexual) had an affair with Kinks lead guitarist Dave Davies.
re: #22 by no2liberals
He’s tremendous. Thanks for posting.
re: #28 by Speranza
I did not know that.
One of those try-sexual types, eh?
re: #27 by melinwy
Howdy!
It’s Friday night, time for some good tuneage, right?
How about…oh, I don’t know, the eagle flies on Friday.
Fats Domino?
re: #30 by no2liberals
Yeah I was surprised to read that.
re: #26 by no2liberals
Very nice, never heard of that gentleman, but I do know I like it.
re: #32 by Speranza
Same here.
Tall, slender, nice looking, I figured the ladies wouldn’t leave him alone enough to try that.
re: #33 by bar
Dang!
I find it hard to believe you never heard of LJB. He was a plank member in the Brit Blues Invasion, along with Brian Auger.
definitely, Fats YES!

re: #37 by bar
George and his genre was what my daughters listened to, not me.
Check out this ol’guitar player. No pick.
Shame so many that I enjoyed are now dead.
Oh man!

Any chance you all could make the font size larger? Really hard on these old eyes to try and read.
Thanks.

N2L,
Tried it, doesn’t work on this blog for me. Not sure why it doesn’t.

That’s odd, it works for me just fine.
Try da_beer freaks advice, if you don’t already have firefox.
Wait a minute.

re: #46 by no2liberals
Spare ribs?
Mustard rub then your dry rub?
Smoke for how long, over what?
re: #47 by bar
Mustard is your thing, not mine.
A light coating of oil, then rub, then twelve hours at about 175-200, with hickory.
Since it’s Thursday night, how about a chuckle.

I make my wife do it by hand.

For all you beer drinkers out there, go easy this weekend.
Really, go easy.
If you know any state employees in Cali, you might want to forward this RUH-ROH to them.
Flopping Aces has some great photos from Honduras.
Night.
re: #42 by no2liberals
Buddy, if I had a hundred bucks right now, I would send it to you snail mail, PayPal, of whatever.
You, my friend, solved my problem of this site looking teeny weeny in Firefox.
