Clinton or Obama, which is worse? Wrong question, I think.
America has been dying via the thousand cuts of liberalism and Political Correctness for a hundred years. Since Wilson we oscillate between liberal leadership to moderate Republican leadership. IMO moderate Republicans are just Dem party light.a slower death. Remember Nixon imposed wage freezes and continued expanding the welfare state started under Johnson (actually under FDR).
Reagan was an exception to this back and forth choosing of Dem’s or Dem light.
Now if you believe as I do that all History is orchestrated by God, that nations are raised up and brought down by God, that miracles like America, and Israel came forth by the hand of God, then you should also believe man is not going to have the final say so about the outcomes.
America is blessed for one reason only: 90% of all missionary effort has come from America in the past 100 years. Now you may be an unbeliever, or of another faith. You may think much of Christianity is corrupt etc. But Christianity always brings with it the seeds of liberty and greater light.
Hospitals are built in the name of Christianity, women are elevated in status via Christianity, civil wars are fought to end slavery via Christianity. World wars have been won because Christians were praying. Communism was weakened by men that spoke like prophets.think of Reagan “Mr Gorbachev, tear down this wall!” Iraq is in the process of being liberated, for the most part, by Christian soldiers. No matter what the media says, how many suicide bombers spring up for some time after our soldiers leave that freedom will take root and will not be thwarted.
This will not be allowed to be stopped by the “progressives,” or any other ideology, Communism, Fascism, Emperor Worship, Islam, American Leftists.
Instead God is judging America right now, not destructively (although it seems like that, and it will get worse) but he is drawing together in one net all those that hate America, hate what she stands for, what she does. Note that Clinton IS a part of this administration, note that the “progressives,” have a sense of inevitability and power like at no other time in American history.
They will be seen for what they are, they will cause such damage as the majority of Americans will reject the progressive agenda for all time. You are not seeing the conquest of freedom by the progressives, instead you are seeing the revealing of rattlesnakes just before they are sprayed with gasoline and the match is lit. HAVE FAITH.
If you do not in these days that are coming, despair will be like ashes in your mouth. Already I have a hard time listening to conservative talk radio, because they see the judgment.yes, but they do not see the outcome, the triumph of God that is coming over this evil.
This idea I am expressing here ought to be a thread, IMO. It is important for all of us to reject despair right now, to really believe.

I would add to the above something about the nature of prophecy. Many people think prophecy is related to fortune telling, or predicting the future. However the future is not set in stone, even the prophetic events depicted in the book of Revelation are not set in stone, man is given the unique ability to create his future.
Even if God Himself declares all inhabitants of Canaan were to be killed under Joshua, yet the Israelites in their disobedience let many of them live, which was always a source of oppression and harassment to the Jews, down to this day with the Palestinians. Now when a Phoenician woman came to Jesus and asked Him to deliver her daughter of a demon Jesus would not answer her. (In God’s viewpoint that woman should not even exist, her ancestors should have been annihilated under the wars of Joshua 1,400 years earlier.)
However the woman persisted and broke through God’s seeming indifference and got what she asked for. The moral of the story is that even if God has declared your destruction, your faith can overrule even the intent of God.
What I am saying is it looks like western civilization is pressed to the wall and we are losing. Maybe we even deserve to lose as we have spit on God and turned our backs to spiritual light…think of LGF 1.0 as just a microcosm of what is taking place on a macro level, and why many of us are so appalled at the behavior of Charles Johnson, as to us “normal,” people it appears to be self-hatred for the values that gave us America, and it appears to be suicide.
However our FAITH can dictate and create another outcome. That is why I am a stickler about what we proclaim from our mouths with faith is greater than all the Islamic assholes, all the Leftist assholes, all the money of Soros and other evil men.
It is greater than all the lust for power of Obama and other “progressives.” But that faith must be expressed. We cannot just continue to wail about, and catalog the deeds of darkness that sicken us all. In your private moments, pray to God and proclaim an outcome of goodness and the mercy of God. While blogging, sometimes claim the outcome that you want…you will be surprised at the prophetic power already in your mouth.
2 Chronicles 7:14 – If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
I was sitting in the truck today just thinking……Was “oppression” or “colonialism” always a bad thing? Just imagine if the mightier had not conquered the weaker. Would cannibalism be an accepted form of worship? What about human, or for that matter, animal sacrifice? Christianity(not to take away from Judaism, but I don’t know that much about it to comment on it) has soothed barbarians for centuries. I understand that it has also been the bringer of death and destruction too…don’t get me wrong. But in some instances, certain peoples just weren’t/aren’t capable of forming a peaceful society. Sometimes someone has to step in and set these people on the right path. Not so much the path of God….I don’t want to claim that I am right and ALL others are wrong. Just the correct path to living side by side with ones neighbors. Mutual respect for differences is also necessary. We have taken over the lands of people yet taught them how to live civilized. They now have sanitation systems…where before their people were dying in droves from preventable diseases. There were many good things that came from colonization of backward countries.
That is just my rant for the day. I got a lot of stuff swimming in my head at the moment. Got some freaky news about my brother the Marine. He won’t go into detail, but I am worried.

Prayer does work. Years ago a good Christian lady friend helped me through one of the lowest points of my life.She prayed and encouraged me to do the same, even when things looked hopeless. It took years but we finally prevailed and no one can tell me that my prayers were not answered despite all the barriers in my path.

a sign for this modern life, young people believe in the bible as much as they believe in greek mythology. the moral decline of the west is because we have nothing but faith to go on and blind faith doesent mean jack shit to the libs and the growing army of atheists and liberals and in your face homo boys.
we need a sign and if we dont get one then we are fucked as we are now.

Is just death really the opposite of peace or simply that which truly assures Justice?
Is it really just to allow one to murder someone but live his or her entire life to its end? Is it truly just to allow someone to steal from another but not have to pay restitution?
Many confuse liberal ideals with those of True Justice. We confuse compassion for peace, and empathy for Justice.
They are not the same.

Signs follow faith. I will give an example that some people may reject but to me it was real. Years ago I was in a church founded by a real man of God with a gift of prophecy. He also could discern the spiritual realm which is real and is greater than the physical realm we are so totally aware of. In fact the Bible is not primarily a book to scold people about being naughty.
In its deeper meaning it is a guide book to the unseen spiritual universe, which if we do not see we will always be manipulated and controlled by that realm and the beings in that realm that have rebelled against God. Christ did not just forgive sins but he took back the legal ownership of this earth from Satan and the fallen angels.
Since Christ they do not have legal ownership of the earth, the legal papers belong to Christ. However they are squatters now and live here and torment the human race by bluff and intimidation.
This man of God discerned that the growing force of homosexuality in America was driven by a principality (fallen angel) of perversion. He started praying against that spirit and in two months the AIDS epidemic surfaced. You may think it is coincidence but I do not as I saw such things repeated in other areas. Did that break the perversion?
To some degree it had to slow it down, as fear came upon the homosexual community and many died. Now they try to pretend this disease happens to everyone, (which still about 90% still comes about by immoral acts) but think of how amazing a disease would come about when people are druggies, or engaged in homosexual acts. That disease catches both groups.
A disease for the most part that would end if people were moral. In other words God can, and will, send plagues upon the earth that are selective and based upon moral behaviors, not just sanitation or poverty.
Pray for God to judge immorality, the harming of infants and children, and injustice…He will hear and respond. This is true Hope and Change. Obama (Satan’s people) anticipate what is coming and try to hijack that for their own plans. In other words God is about to bring REAL Hope and Change to the earth, Satan had Obama run into that delivery truck and steal the idea which was ripe for the earth, and is part of the reason the crowds are nearly mesmerized by his message. Because it is perverted BUT based on a true message about to be delivered by God and His angels.

Both of these emotional responses don’t create any actual fairness, or justice in society but instead continue an already inherently unjust system where the perpetrator is treated better than the victim – with Murder, the victim is dead but the perpetrator lives.
None of this however even gets into the ramifications of this type of unjust system on our society when looked at over centuries. As I asked earlier, would our society be actually more Just, safer, more orderly, and more peaceful if we had imposed and stuck with such “unliberal” and unemotional rules such as eye-for-eye and tooth-for-tooth…or one where conquest is seen as good triumphing over bad?
The bottom line I guess is that we have been morally confused as a society to believe that our emotions are all we need to tell us right from wrong, and that our liberal understandings of Justice are always correct. We are fed bumpersticker knowledge like “War is not the answer”, “you can’t teach life is precious by killing”, and “its my choice”, and have been made the worse as a society for it because sometimes war IS the answer, you CAN teach that life is precious by killing Murders, and sometimes its not your selfish personal choice.

Before discovered, they were always there yet undiscerned. If you were to tell someone that he is getting sick because of these tiny microorganisms on his hands, which he cannot see, taste, measure, or even find but it was they who were multiplying and making him sick when he ingested them, he would tell you that you are crazy and making up myths. Same goes for Air until we were able to categorize, and measure it. Problem is however that all of those scientists who would have denied air, and microorganisms before they were discovered were WRONG, no matter what they could measure etc.
How more true is this if you refuse to look for the microorganisms, or work only to prove they do not exist.

Exactly. Romans states it very simply. All of creation is the evidence of God. You want to know if God exists, then look to the complexity and wonder of the creation. Darwinism, among other things stripped from us the “wonder of creation. A mind that no longer wonders is a dead mind. Scientist stupidly think that if they label something then they really understand that something.
That is why talking to Darwinists is useless, they use words like a blizzard uses snow, they no more understand the “process of evolution,” than they understand where all matter and energy came from to begin with. That is why you can ask any Darwinist what is the mechanism that produces symbiotic relationships among life.
They will then parrot all sorts of labels and describe processes that have no bearing on an outcome in biology that dictates two or more species either planned to be totally interdependent at some future date (an absurdity) or an outside intelligence directs development and dictates life forms.
I believe, I’ve felt the presence of God at a great time of need, when I called out to him, even though I was skeptical of his existence, at that time.
I don’t need any further proof or signs, and don’t really need to know all of the scriptures or prophecies.
I have remained a positive person, despite set backs, for all of the past thirty three years since he showed me he was with me, and cared about me.
I believe everyone is, or has been, on a personal journey to find the truth about God.
It is a personal journey, not one that can be gifted or re-gifted by another.
I am content with what I know, and sincerely hope everyone can know. For all those seekers, the only advice I can, or will, give is to look inside first. He knew about us and loved us before we were even created.
As for the affairs of man, there is a price for everything we do. Too many don’t stop to consider if the price of their follies are beyond that which they must pay, in value to their eternal souls.
What a load crock…no wonder slavery happened in Christian America along with millions of untold misery. Fanatics live in a make belief wolrd, or so it seems.

Sounds like you are both willingly ignorant of history and an idiot. Slavery was ended in England by the efforts of the devout Christian William Willberforce in the early 19th century, without a civil war. In America slavery was ended by the civil war which came about through the agitiation of Christians and the preaching of Charles G. Finney.
And in no small part by the best selling book Uncle Tom’s Cabin by the devout Christian Harriet Beacher Stowe. When Abraham Lincoln met Stowe, he remarked, “So you are the little woman that started so great a war.” There is no doubt slavery was ended in Western Civilization by the efforts of Christians. You FAIL.

Why did slavery even begin in good old Christian America? Why didn’t Christianity allow it in the first place? Going by your logic, it should have never happened in the first place!!
