Iran still behind attacks in Iraq

Obama’s 2nd favorite regime, after Hugo Chavez is still helping cause chaos in Iraq. Gen. Ray Odierno commander of US forces in Iraq, says Iran is still behind many of the attacks on US troops.

BAGHDAD (AP) – The top U.S. military commander in Iraq on Tuesday accused Iran of continuing to support and train militants who are carrying out attacks, including most of the ones in Baghdad.

Gen. Ray Odierno said the attacks have fallen in number but are still a problem. He made the comments just after the U.S. relinquished security for Baghdad and other urban areas to Iraqi forces, part of a security agreement that will see all American soldiers out of the country by the end of 2011.

“Iran is still supporting, funding and training surrogates who operate inside of Iraq. They have not stopped and I don’t think they will stop,” Odierno told reporters at the U.S. military headquarters outside Baghdad. “I think many of the attacks in Baghdad are from individuals that have been in fact funded or trained by the Iranians.”

Just got off the phone with my old Kurdish friend. He has moved back there after living in America, and becoming a citizen, nearly twenty years ago.
He is doing well, and is a partner in a paint company.
We talked about things in general, and our friends, and how many of our Kurdish friends have all gone back. We also talked about Iran, and what a deplorable situation the Iranian people have to contend with. He said many Kurds go to Iran for medical treatments, as it closer than Baghdad, and Turkey isn’t very amenable to helping Kurds. He said the Iranian people are all unhappy, and that many of the cities in the NWest of Iran are basically ghost towns. The economy is in a shambles, 30% inflation, and no jobs.

You know, it is still sickening that Obama, the President of the United States, supports the government that oppresses, violently, its people and spends money and people on killing our soldiers in another country……

Then speaks out against a country that tosses out their president when they tried to take over for life.

Makes you wonder where his priorities are.

    I’m aiming at a closer target, 2010.
Cut off his purse strings, and all he has left is his monotonous speech pattern, flat voice, and waning charm.
On the bright side, he will have more time to play with his new dog, as his old lap dog, Media, will lose interest in him.

Media will suckle up to him until 2016. He could randomly murder babies and the NY Yankees, he’d still be the DNC pick in 2012, and the world will blame the murders on Rush Limbaugh and Conservatives.

Comment for article: Pat Buchanan vs. Evolution

It really is time for Pat Buchanan to shut up. He is so full of hot air and anger. Why isn’t this guy marginalized by all media as William F. Buckley did when he was removed from his magazine? Didn’t Pat have surgery on an aneurysm? Doesn’t he understand that it is science that saved him and his loud mouth. He probably had doctors and nurses who were not Aryan and that must really bother him.

So…. because Pat went to the doctor, he’s required to believe in Evolution?

Off Topic/ That kid that said Michael Jackson fondled him got a detail wrong.

This is from an article at the Daily Mail:

Crying softly, Michael [Jackson] took off the boxers and stood, stripped not only of his clothes [for the police, so they could photograph him], but of all his dignity. All eyes peered at him to see if he was circumcised, as Jordie had claimed (he wasn’t). ‘Oh my God,’ Michael whimpered. He looked as if he was about to faint.

(”Jordie” = kid who said Jackson molested him)

They’re amazing. Evolution is just one branch of science, and science is comprised of different branches and areas of study.

A rejection of one field (or one view/theory) does not necessarily mean a rejection of all of them.

    #17 And speaking of evolution/creation:

    Journey Thru Creation

    presented by Project Creation
“The 2005 San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival winner for Best Creation Film.

What someone believes about the origins of life will influence what they believe on almost every other important issue.

In this presentation we explore the controversy between Creation and Evolution and why it matters.”

It isn’t even a field, it is a theory that, like a virus, is spreading.

They’ve changed the organization of species. Remember how it used to be? species, genius, etc

Now it is organized based on the evolutionary process…..

Pat Buchanan is a mother******. Charles hating Buchanan is A-OK by me. Sometimes CJ still gets it right. I have no dog in the creationist-evolutionist fight (frankly the topic bores me) but I hate Buchanan with a passion.

I can’t stand that man either, but to make the leap from “seeing a doctor” means you MUST believe in evolution is pretty funny… and par for the looozards (love that- THANKS WRATH!!).
