Chavez ally ousted in Honduran coup
In a blow to the International Progressives movement, Honduran President Jose Manuel Zelaya has been removed by Congress and the Military. His own party that controls the Congress removed him. Hugo Chavez and his Progressives Latin Traitors are upset over this. His American ally President Hussein Obama is also upset over this.
Honduran Congress names provisional president
TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras (CNN) — The Honduran Congress voted Sunday to strip President Jose Manuel Zelaya of his powers and named the president of the Congress, Roberto Micheletti, as provisional president.
Zelaya was removed from his residence Sunday morning by military forces who transported him to Costa Rica.
I salute the Honduran Military for backing this congress led coup against this radical progressive. The Progressive/Marxist movement is a worldwide cancer and I support any means to defeat them.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.
Play nice!
Poor Barack, ‘we must work out our disputes through peaceful dialogue, and respect the elected government under all conditions’ Obama, has been foiled again. I expect more stern words to follow along with another worthless UN resolution, denouncing the actions of the people.
If only that would happen here and ship Obama’s ass to Iran.

Excellent! Obama will condemn this as it puts a damper on his plans to install himself forever.
Let’s ask Axelrod, the Marxism consultant to the administration.
He won’t do shit and the world knows it.
B-HO won’t refuse to meddle in this one.
Will Chavez attempt military action?
It would be interesting if he did, and Columbia kicked his sorry butt off to Costa Rica.

“B-HO won’t refuse to meddle in this one.”
Further insulting the Iranian citizens.
re: #9 by Intravenousdemilo
He is on their poop list.
They had a massive protest today, with estimates ranging from 3,000 to 20,000.
Venezuela offered ‘no visa required’ entry to Iranians, and apparently a large number of clerics thought it was time for a vacation.
To put it another way, this was not a coup in Honduras, but the rule of law being applied against an illegal usurpation of authority.
The Courts, the military, and his own party prevented an illegal act from taking place.
They should have thrown him in jail, instead of out of the country.
I was wondering why Obama would be more upset over this than Iran.
re: #11 by no2liberals
Good on them. Maybe their bold action will inspire us to take our country back.
re: #11 by no2liberals
One commie down, umpteen to go.
re: #11 by no2liberals
Yes It was a Constitutional Process. But It still was a Coup, but a legal and constitutional coup.
re: #15 by Rodan
It takes the military to do it right.
re: #13 by Intravenousdemilo
If only they had guns, like us.
re: #15 by Rodan
I still don’t think coup is the correct term.
No new civil or military government has been installed, only the President has been removed, while the system remains the same.
I think saying the government was protected from an illegal act requires another term.

Whatever it was, I hope something good comes of it.

Well, THAT’S positive morals.
re: #19 by LanceKates
So do I, but in protecting their constitution, the Hondurans have shown us a thing or two about what it means to be a faithful citizen.

re: #21 by no2liberals
Yes indeed. The question is, are there enough of us, and will the Military help, as they did there.
Coup d’état rule #1: KILL the people you are removing from power.
If people followed ruled #1, Hugo Chavez would already be dead instead of threatening to have his military invade Honduras.

Nothing stops us from taking him out.
Except the Administration, that is.
Oh goody. Vanilla Ice is going to be featured for an hour on A&E in about 8 minutes. Can’t wait to miss that.

Very viddee well, then.
Official US reaction to the Honduran events via Hillary Clinton….
“The action taken against Honduran President Manuel Zelaya violates the precepts of the Inter-American Democratic Charter and thus should be condemned by all. We call on all parties in Honduras to respect the constitutional order and the rule of law, to reaffirm their democratic vocation and to commit themselves to resolve political disputes peacefully and through dialogue.”…..
Whatever
re: #45 by African Moondog
That’s some liberal hubris.
They preserve their constitution and democratic principles, by removing a President that wanted to install himself for life, and Hildebeast gets indignant.
Meanwhile, in Iran, there is a seven point statement being handed out to the protesters in preparation for today’s protest, that I’m certain she would find offensive, and B-HO as well.
Honduras Defends Its Democracy
Good piece, with excellent info.
The Good ‘Ole US of A has to many whores in Congress and the Military, so the Constitution will NOT be upheld by them.

Ugh too serious for a Monday… I got a sick feeling in my stomach – that mullah vacay line and needed something more like a movie.
I found it here but I’m having my coffee, asking myself why the keystone cops routine when somebody’s strutting around with 134 BILLION in bonds and we haven’t gotten down to the bottom of it yet.

Unbelievable! They do right and get dissed for it.
Personally, I think they’ve shown us the way. Now we just need our troops home!

More importantly, hear anything about the job you applied for?
Another beautiful day on tap here 3 hours to your north (in Yankee land).
re: #53 by My5princesses
Good Morning, M5P! (hugs!) Summmer has finally arrived here in Virginia, as well!
As to the job, I won’t believe it until I start working. I’m surrently filing out their application (always a good sign), but at my interview the head guy was telling me they can’t do anything until their contract lady comes back from a mini-vacation – which is Wednesday. Then who knows how long.
On the up side, I was approved for unemployment (gak!)
re: #54 by vapig
Well, it appears things are looking better either way! My wife let the youth group from church borrow her 2007 minivan for a trip to Creation 2009, and had to use my 94 Chevy s-10 blazer. There were various complaints about it, and she asked why I couldn’t get a new vehicle. When I asked her if she’d pay for it (since I pay for her van), the subject was changed for some reason.
She was very glad to get her van back yesterday though.
Maybe she’d like to give me away for a few days too.
re: #55 by My5princesses
LOL! Naw! Good eggs are hard to find!
I’m with you on the new vehicle. I own my jeep (although it looks like my dealership was one of those shut down) and I’m NOT buying one of those egg-mobiles!
re: #56 by vapig
She is talking about getting an SUV now. There were a couple times last winter she couldn’t get up the hill near our house. She will borrow my Blazer when it snows then, and somehow it’s not such a bad vehicle in the winter.
I still have my man truck, a 1992 F-250, and my dawg.

re: #58 by LanceKates
It’s Poiple!. I used to have a 250 KTM dirtbike, before you were born. No battery on that baby, you had to rev the engine for lights.
re: #60 by My5princesses
Yeah, I had wanted to paint it white and green, however the bolts holding the rear fender on are stripped and I can’t get them off without removing the rear wheel (More than my neophyte mechanical ability will allow), so it stays purple.
re: #61 by LanceKates
Well, you were from Minnesota, so It’s Viking Poiple! Least it’s not Lavender, and you haven’t put any rainbow or Care Bear stickers on it.
re: #62 by My5princesses
Heh, true, I did take a Dallas Cowboys sticker off of it.
It is actually purple with darker purple flames.
I just wanted to make it more visible, but that wasn’t to be.
Maybe I’ll save up and buy some of those LED lights that you stick on it, but that’d involve wiring and the wiring is screwed up enough.
I’ve, since, taken off the backpack.
Can’t complain about 42-45 mpg.
re: #63 by LanceKates
Glad you took the Cowboys sticker off, don’t want people laughing at you.
Keep running it dude.
Must go for awhile, take care.
re: #64 by My5princesses
About to go ride it to work. heh.
Take care.
I notice that Charles Johnson has chosen to ignore this story and go with his obsession on white supremacists, creationism, bashing republicans, etc.
