Iranian Revolutionary Guards give warning

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards is a terror group. Although an arm of the Iranian Army, they have in the past sent fighters on Jihad to Bosnia, Chechnya and have aided Hezbollah, Hamas and Al Qeada in their attacks. They are now threatening the protesters with violence if the protests don’t stop. These Fascists are not playing around as they are a terror group and will not hesitate using terror tactics on their own people.

Iran Revolutionary Guard threatens protesters

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) – Iran’s Revolutionary Guard is threatening to crush any further opposition protests over the disputed presidential election and warns demonstrators to prepare for a “revolutionary confrontation” if they take to the streets again.

The country’s most powerful military force ordered demonstrators to “end the sabotage and rioting activities” and said their resistance is a “conspiracy” against Iran.

A statement posted Monday on the Guard’s Web site warned protesters to “be prepared for a resolution and revolutionary confrontation with the Guards, Basij and other security forces and disciplinary forces.”

If they use terror tactics against their own people, it could backfire as it will galvanize the rest of the population.

Continued prayers and thoughts are with the Iranian people.

I’m sure our President will aid the Freedom Fighters and take out the Terrorist groups as a part on the Global War on Terror.

Except, well, the President isn’t supporting the Freedom Fighters and has ended calling it a war on terror…..

    … crap.

I’d like to see a few infiltration teams go in there and start assassinating the leadership of Iran. And make sure to leave a calling card.

Ace of Spades on top of the bodies of everyone we wack. Just like Col. Kilgore in Apocalypse Now.

Apparently he doesn’t even support freedom for his own country. Newsflash. Mr President- If the status quo remains in place in Iran, they’ll still hate on you. Guaranteed.

Are the Revolutionary Guards the Mullah’s version of the Waffen SS? A well trained military force independent of the military high command designed to keep the populace in check?

Yes, they are an elite branch of the military and have been involved in stirring up stuff in Iraq.Terrorists as far as I’m concerned.

There was a huge protest against the Iranian Islamic Regime yesterday evening, and night in Los Angeles. I doubt it will get the international coverage the Anti-Israel, or Anti-Bush protests got.

Hopefully the Anti-Islamic Republic fury will spread and the World will actually take notice. However, we shouldn’t fool ourselves about Mir-Hossein Mousavi Khameneh. He is hardly a “moderate” or a “reformer”.

The broad strokes used by that “Defenseman” are just pathetic. That weak argument style and painting everyone with the same brush seems very familiar.

One of the issues that really confused me when I was still frequenting LGF was the feud with Atlas Shrugs and Jihad Watch. I just don’t see the issue the way Charles does–not that he may not be correct, but I don’t think the matter is a deal breaker the way he did.

Anyway, I do read Atlas Shrugged daily, and I’m so glad I do:

    Found this at Storagemanager’s site:

Samira Makhmalbaf: “Let me tell you what happened in Iran. On the night when the votes were counted, Mr. Mousavi was contacted and told that he had won the elections. He was preparing to issue his victory statement. But then the military commanders came to his office…”

For clarification, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard(IRG), or as they are alternately called, the Pasdaran or Al Quds Force, are not affiliated with the Iranian Army…at all.
The IRG has its own Army and Navy, it was their Navy that captured the Brits last year.
If you visualize an organizational chart, with the Mad Mullahs at the top, one line from them goes down to the President and Parliament, and all other normal government functions, including the military. The other line goes from the Mad Mullahs to the IRG. The President can’t say boo to the IRG, only the Mad Mullahs.
They were formed to protect the Islamic Revolution, not Iran, and one of their most important functions is to spread their ideology beyond Iran. It was the IRG that formed Hezbollah, equipped and trained them, and still does. Even the Hezbo flag is a replica of the IRG flag.
The Basiji militia come under the umbrella of the IRG, but still only report to the Mullahs.
