You’re correct, this is appalling. This morning reports are out that the CBO says that the incomplete health care plan will cost $1T for 1/3 of the uninsured.
No one’s going to tune into that unless they already have an opinion. Obama will just be preaching to choir. Or should I say, The Dear Anointed One, the Lamb of Chicago, He of the Glistening Pecs and Radiant Halos, will be reading a Teleprompter to the Moonies and Kool-Aid drinkers who adoringly worship his shadow.

this is a huge story, and it backs up what all of us have been saying about what we used to call the mainstream media but has now officially become State Run Media. I have to believe this will turn off many people, even those that didn’t see the light before. I feel like I’m living in a nightmare, never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that something like this would happen.

They have chosen a side. This can not stand. What the GOp needs to do when if ever it gets power again, is use the IRS and FBI to go after these clowns. They play dirty, I say play dirty back.
ABC is a propaganda machine. Nothing less.
For example, recently ABC’s 20/20 produced an hour-long episode dedicated to “proving” people are too incompetent to defend themselves with firearms. Their “experiment” was laughably flawed to skew the results in favor of the attacker(s). It was a sham constructed to reinforce the anti-gun cause. (This is detailed in the most recent edition of the NRA’s American Rifleman mag, or any of their other monthly publications – you should be reading it right now, if not… join the NRA dammit!)
I mention this because some people unquestioningly (and falsely) believe that ABC and the other Progressive/Liberally based news media are truly “reporting” and “searching for the truth”. Like my parents in their 70’s – they have a hard time grasping the fact that Dianne Sawyer could lie to them, after a lifetime of trusting those news agencies.
Unfortunately people are being duped by these media outlets, and will believe everything ABC shows them about B. Hussein Obama’s wonderful new healthcare n’ totalitarianism abomination.
Even the BBC manages to create the pretence of separation between itself and the government – though it’s long been known as the propaganda wing of the parliamentary Labour party. I can’t quite believe this is happening to you lot. It’s weird.

The GOP clearly needs to increase their efforts at defending themselves from attacks. This does not mean that they need to go to the extent of aiming to crush and dismantle the media. Political life may involve a fair amount of playing dirty but I think that is taking it a step too far.

You think they won’t do that for the media, should their income fail them?
