Ruled Britannia Watch – Bobbies’ Union Jack flag pins deemed “offensive”

This is what happens when you have a whole country ruled by a bureaucracy full of Barack Obama-style socialists - “OFFENSIVE” UNION JACK BADGE ORDERED REMOVED FROM COPS UNIFORMS

DOES THIS OFFEND YOU?

Flag of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

Well it seems that it DOES offend some UNNAMED MET officials who have now banned armed cops at Heathrow Airport from wearing the tiny Union Jack flag badge on their clothing.  These Union flag badges have been worn to show support for British military troops. Approximately 70% of these armed cops have served in the Forces and/or have children or other family members currently serving in Afghanistan.

Now who might you imagine would find the British flag as “offensive”?  Who might be whining and complaining about it ?? — Should we suspect muslims and their muslim wannabee sympathizers?

Clearly muslims have made an issue – worldwide – of crosses – or any object bearing any form of a cross (including National flags) as being offensive to them and clearly many dhimmis are tripping over each other to pander to these muslims….
Click the link to find the list of other examples in recent news where UK dhimmis are falling all over themselves to sell Britain down the camel path to Eurabia.  Even if this rule didn’t come down directly at the behest of Muslim complainers, you can be almost guaranteed that it was still made with their “concerns” in mind.

Play nice!

I am waiting for them [Liberals] to try and stop Police, firefighters and other uniformed public servants from wearing the American flag pins.

    GO AHEAD, JUST TRY IT.

We don’t have a right to be eternally unoffended. Neither do these folks.

Be offended, whine and move on.

    Welcome to freedom.

That’s the thing with oppression.. it makes you live by their standards

So, let me get this straight.
They want to ban the wearing of the Union Jack flag pin. The one with the Patron Saint of England [St. George], right?

This is fucked up. What we need is Richard III to come back from the dead, and start lopping off some heads, starting with the nitwit that came up with this idea.

    Right, Pelosi and Boxer.
    I should have known.
Both of them need check ups from the neck up, but in Nancy’s case, there is has been so much cosmetic work on her face/head, that there may not be anything left up stairs.

And yet, these same people are baffled at the growing political strength of the BNP.
Baffled and baffling, these are some maladaptive idiots.

I’m offended by burkas and I want them removed from my view!

One should note that the very existence of Christians and Jews
is considered offensive to Muslims. Why stop with badges, mass suicides would demonstrate more sensitivity and political correctness. The more you give them, the more they will demand.

Well, if the people are offended by the pin, they need to leave the country.

I am sick to death of people going to other countries and complaining about how that country operates.
If you don’t like the country don’t go.
Britain really needs to grow a pair and stop the Islamization of their country.

Australia does not put up with this crap.

    dear islamofascists,

uh, i hate to point out the obvious, but the flag you are so offended by is the official flag of the country you are living in. you may want to relocate to a country that waves a flag you can identify with. here’s your hat/scarf, here’s your coat/robe/burka there’s the door….don’t let it hit you on the way out.

In the usa we need our government to be just as afraid of “we the people” as these British dhimmis are of the Islamos.

LAW AND ORDER – crack down on crime!

The BNP will crack down on crime and restore public safety and confidence. We will free the police and courts from the politically correct straitjacket that is stopping them from doing their job properly.

The liberal fixation with the ‘rights’ of criminals must be replaced by concern for the rights of victims, and the right of innocent people not to become victims.

We support the re-introduction of corporal punishment for petty criminals and vandals, and the restoration of capital punishment for paedophiles, terrorists and murderers as an option for judges in cases where their guilt is proven beyond dispute, as by DNA evidence or being caught red-handed.

how can you argue with that.

The powers that be at the Met are renowned as the purveyors of the PC mantra, and 90% of the run of the mill ‘coppers’ can’t stand them. The regulations that forced the removal of these Union Flag pins were those that restrict the adornment of Police uniforms with non standard accoutrements. One is however allowed to wear one’s Military and Police decorations and medals!

Fair enough i hear you say, however the senior PC officers at the Met also allow culturally sensitive’ additions to the standard uniform such as head scalves and other religiously based ornamentation.

Talk about a dimmi double standard. The regular ‘coppers’ at the Met have to regularly sit through obligatory lectures on how to be politically aware, culturally aware and ethnically aware. They shoulder this BS with their usual humour and curse their senior officers amongst themselves.

    Such is modern Britain.

Churchill must be rotating in his grave at Westminster Abbey at 300 RPM by now! :)

There is a really simple solution, if you don’t like it, leave.

I really pity you Brits, having no control over your country. You guys need a Geert Wilder to resolve your problems. I doubt any current party in the UK will be able to solve your problems.
