Free LGF!

This past week has been very eventful for all of us at the Blogmocracy. We’ve seen a lot of activity, a lot of excitement, and a lot of familiar names and old friends.

reddawn1

At the same time, however, we’ve also seen more and more evidence that there are netizens out there who are eager to participate in our discussions, but do so only anonymously or disguised, presumably out of fear and/or intimidation.

Well, I think that I can speak for many of the Blogmocracy administrators and readers when I way…enough is enough!  I will not sit idly by while witnessing the plight of netizens, bloggers, and registered members who are crying out, hungry for freedom.  People should be able to, without fear, express any reasonable opinion they want to, to whomever they want to, whenever and wherever they want to.  It is a right that most take for granted, but it is not granted to all.

From this day forward, I will no longer look the other way. It is upon this foundation that I launch the Free LGF! Movement (FLM).

The Mission:

-To expose and oppose any and all forms of intimidation used to limit the freedom of  LGF’s netizens.

-To free as many souls as possible from LGF’s culture of tyranny and suppression.

-To provide counsel to those who have recently escaped, and help reintegrate them back into the free blogosphere.

…..To that end, I’ve got a few words for some of our brothers and sisters in the occupied zone:

the chair is against the wall

john has a long mustache

Comments

Comments and respectful debate are both welcome and encouraged.

Comments are the sole opinion of the comment writer, just as each thread posted is the sole opinion or post idea of the administrator that posted it or of the readers that have written guest posts for the Blogmocracy.

Obscene, abusive, or annoying remarks may be deleted or moved to spam for admin review, but the fact that particular comments remain on the site in no way constitutes an endorsement of their content by any other commenter or the admins of this Blogmocracy.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.

Play nice!

Well, Chuck, you already banned my nic months ago without the courtesy of a reply as to why. Why don’t you go ahead and ban it again, just to make yourself feel better. As a matter of fact, print it out, put it on the floor and jump up and down on it real good — that should make you feel empowered.

This reminds me of the Rosenhan Experiment that proved people will see exactly what they want to see on the flimsiest of evidence.

The “non-existent imposter experiment” was just hilarious. Charles seems to be suffering under a similar delusion.

Don’t care if CJ bans me on 1.0 or not, since I never plan on going back there anyway.
Happy memorial day to all and a salute to all our troops – past, present and future.

    re: #26 by archonix

Yeah, I posted about it last night on one of the threads

Cognito was banned for not believing enough in Evolution for Charles.

Charles was also ‘disappointed’ that the minions at 1.0 believed what Cognito said he believed rather than what Charles said Cognito believed.

I guess Charles expected people to think he knows better what others believe than the individual.

  29. 29 | May 25, 2009 7:49 am

President Obama denounced the NK’s nuclear test, and said that the behavior is unacceptable and that it is a ‘grave threat’ to peace.

Honestly, what’s Obama going to do? They’re breaking UN Resolutions and the UN will do nothing.

That’s what brought us to Iraq, is Obama going to do the same thing with NK?

    pfft.

Of course, Most wars started by Democrats end up having those Democrats starting up Drafts.

but the definition of Theory has changed.

I’ve read old science textbooks (old as in ones that have hand sketches instead of pictures), showing the definition of a Theory as a best estimation of the interpretation of the experiment’s results in comparison to the hypothesis.

Basically, what seperates a Theory from a Law is that a Law is what happened and can be used to explain what will happen. A theory means it is the guess as to what happened and what may happen.

Nowdays, a Theory has become what Fact uesd to be. . . what, then do they say a Law is?
