Neo-Nazis screaming ‘Heil Hitler’ attack concentration camp survivors during memorial service
I know we have a new thread, but there is no way I could -not- post this. Outrageous!
Survivors of a Nazi death camp were shot at and abused as they gathered to remember their liberation.
Masked neo-Nazi thugs screamed ‘Heil Hitler!’ and ‘This way for the gas!’ at ten elderly Italian men and women, who returned to the site of the Mauthausen concentration camp in Austria.
The gang also fired air guns at a group of 15 French survivors, many dressed in the striped pyjama-style uniforms they wore as inmates. One suffered a head wound while another was injured by a shot in the neck. The four thugs managed to escape.
Jewish leaders in Austria were appalled by the weekend scenes that marred events marking the 64th anniversary of the camp’s liberation by American troops.

FIRST!
This thread has nothing to do with Israel really, but the pictures associated with that article really said it all to me.
The first shows the survivors in their Death Camp strips. Then the second shows them memorializing the deaths. The third shows them proudly marching under the flag of Israel.
It is hard to explain this to someone who isn’t Jewish, and who doesn’t already feel this way, but to many Jews this is exactly the point, purpose, and existence of Israel. It is our resurrection, our badge of courage, or symbol or pride to replace the generations of horrible things that happened to us. It is our message to the world that we will stand up for ourselves now, we are “at the table”. It screams “look how far we have come from Egypt, from pogroms, from the Camps…we are now a free people in our own land – the land of our forefathers, the land of our G-d!
I truly believe that the world in one way or another understands this, and this is why they try so hard to destroy her. They wish to put the Jew back under their thumb.

It is open season on Jews in Europe and Christians in America. All this Zionist bashing in Europe is leading to Nazis and Leftists being openly anti Jewish again.

If just 10 years ago someone told me Holocaust survivors would be harassed in Europe or that bigotry towards Christians would be accepted in America I would of said that person is crazy.

I too believe this is becoming more prevelent in Europe (and soon across the world) because of “Anti-Zionism”.
For a long time I have been warning that Anti-Zionism would make anti-Jew sentiment popular and acceptable again.
I only hope that my other concerns don’t come to fruition.
What the hell is wrong with the world? Sometimes I wonder if I didn’t get hit by a bus on 9/10/01 and everything since is some sort of bizzare, horrific hallucination while I’m lying in a hospital bed. Reality is failing the reality test.

Thing said I was a libertarian. I’ve never been more insulted in my life! (Well, okay, maybe I have been a few times, but….)
That may be the worst Nolan Chart survey I’ve ever taken. The positions were so horribly written that you’d honestly pick the libertarian choice almost every time because it basically boiled down to three lunatic answers and one “No, I do not want to be ruled by loonies”.
On the other hand, maybe that test isn’t so inaccurate after all…

In the days of Obama we’ve gotta be careful or they will put all right wingers and conservatives in this camp, look at Michael Savage, he’s banned from the UK, a political move made by Washington to butter up the public before they clamp down on the right wing media.
