Ya know, it’s kinda sad to watch netizens continually choose to post in a forum that has become so oppressive that they can’t keep track of which 20k+ comment members have been cast out for not demonstrating unconditional loyalty to the admin. But, hey, maybe that ajax thing is like crack or something.
Anyway, I know that I have a reputation of being a fierce warrior that roams the plains of the political web, but I can also be benevolent. I’m kinda liberal, and I think I have a soft spot for the hopelessly addicted. So, I’m going to help you lizards out…
Yes, Mama Winger was banned. Many months ago, actually.
In the future, I suggest that one stop by here before asking about those that shalt not be mentioned or searched for, as it could spare you the possible sentence of 50 updings to repent for your ignorance.

But somebody needs to notify that blog owner with the list of bad apples that he’s got one too many people listed. Tex never got the stick, and I absolutely, positively refuse to set up a sock puppet to visit Herr Charles’ site.
But it was a trip down memory lane to see that huge list of names. I don’t even feel special anymore!

I am now 100% convinced that Charles is totally deranged. I said I liked Ann Coulter’s new book, so he banned me, and then brings me up randomly a couple of months later as an alleged “sock puppet” “stalker.”
I think he’s trying to prove something about himself. No idea what, though.

Nothing to it. I was referring to Charles that is suppositorily in our heads and meant to be witty and puny.
However, as we can see how 1.0 is watching this blog, he is not in our heads, but rather we are in his.
Proof? His minions are stalking us rather than their other familiar grounds, like KOS an HuffPo. He knows where the danger lies.
And another curious thing. I started calling him a moonbat and a LLL a week ago, and now we see him using the same language since I started that in posts here and abroad.

There are still many good people at LGF, but they are now standing silent out of fear of being “banned” or “blocked” and denigrated if it is done publicly. Rodan is right, many just quietly disappear, finding they have been blocked when they go to sign in the next day.
Many are banned simply for UP or DOWNdinging the wrong comment.
When they end up googling banned at LGF, they will end up here! Good post.
Just as a point of fact for the record, I have never tried to log in to LGF since Robert Spencer got Chucked, and I have certainly not ever attempted to register a sock puppet.
It’s funny to see my name on the banned list at Kirly’s blog. I never got an official “get off my blog” comment from the lizard king. I just stopped posting there when he went psychotic by accusing the DI and ICR of being funded by islamic radicals. My last comment there did get -12 down ding points. I logged-in once several months ago to do a search and I my account was still active. I don’t know if I have been banned since then, but I won’t give Chuckles the satisfaction of attempting to login to find out. I really could care less.
I have also caught several open registrations over at 1.0, but I also could care less about making any sock puppets. either
Thanks for that link to Kirly’s list. It was funny to see down in the comments, Colonel Panik was banned for the identical reason I was.
The whole thing is absurd. There are a lot of genuinely respectable people on that list… Charles is making a laughingstock of himself and his once-great blog with his childish banning.
In 2005 I registered as xray at lgf because I wanted to change my nic. I never used the new nic but did notice someone else posting as xray. Can two people have the same nic over there?
Unless he’s really that bad a programmer, I doubt it. Seems like someone else was using your nick.

I stopped visiting LGF not because of the lack of intellectual diversity. But mainly a lack of intellect.
I accept evolution as the most likely was we came to be, but its a ‘theory’ not a fact. There is a huge difference.
But I guess I should have studied music rather than science for my degree. Then I would know.

Chen, you sound like you would fit right in at the new LGF 1.0. You were banned when the Google description of LGF read “Headquarters of the Lizardoid Army”, or “Anti-Idiotarian Headquarters”. Do you know what it reads today? “Weblog covering issues dear to both conservatives and US liberals”. If they added an “anti-” before “conservatives”, it would be a more accurate description, but it’s still pretty indicative of the radical ideological change that’s occured over there.
In fact, if you were still posting over there you’d have a hard time running up a negative karma of -286. The same comments that got down-dinged two years ago would probably get up-dinged today. You’d probably have a hard time getting banned over there today, as your liberal opinions are just the kind that CJ wants to cultivate in his newly hatched lizards to reflect the new, leftish LGF 1.0.
Me on the other hand, there’s almost no chance that I would last more than a single comment over there today. Back in the day I managed to post a few hundred comments, almost all of them defending European conservative nationalist political parties and the blogs that supported them, running up a negative karma of -708. CJ simply wouldn’t tolerate that kind of respectful dissent over there today, at least not from the right.
An interesting thought experiment would be if you set up a sock-puppet over there and offered your honest opinions in the comments. Rather than being banned, I think you’d soon be lizard superstar, ranking up there with anti-conservative watchdogs like Killgore, Sharmuta and Thanos

I stopped visting because LGF is freaking boring and has been for some time now. I just don’t feel that Glenn Beck, Pam Geller, Robert Spencer and some obscure Texas School Board is a threat to me. But then again that’s just me.
Just noticed – I’m not on the list. Might need to contact Kirly and let him/her know.
At least Charles banned me for a reason – I did call him a whackjob, after all. But I only did so because he is, indeed, a whackjob.

I do not “ding,” and I have that feature turned off my account so that I can’t see my total. I can check my karma on my profile page if I want. Someone accused me of lying about that, but it’s true.
Dick Cheney has been going on the attack against Obama for nearly two weeks now. It’s been the subject of numerous threads at Free Republic. Yet I have not seen a single thread on it at LGF. I thought the Lizards loved Dick Cheney?

I think I was banned this morning. I went and asked if it was true that Charles had become an anti-christian and if so why he felt that way. I was very very respectful and offered a thoughtful outline of where I stood. I was instantly attacked by realwest and kilgore trout. They called me names and said I should f-off. I tried to respectfully disagree and tell them I was honestly asking. They then started riffing on making up backgrounds for me proving I was a plant or something. When CJ finally showed up he just deleted all my comments.
They are a hate filled, bigoted, and completely intolerant group who hold discussion and debate as beneath them. It is hard to believe I ever enjoyed the comment threads there. They treated me very badly. I was stunned.
