Hawaii lawmakers pass Islam Day

The continuing influence of Islamo-Fascism in American politics continues to advance. In the State of Hawaii, the State Senate passed a resolution calling for making Sept 24., 2009 as Islam day.

Hawaii lawmakers back the creation of ‘Islam Day’

HONOLULU – Hawaii’s state Senate overwhelmingly approved a bill Wednesday to celebrate “Islam Day” — over the objections of a few lawmakers who said they didn’t want to honor a religion connected to Sept. 11, 2001.

The Senate’s two Republicans argued that a minority of Islamic extremists have killed many innocents in terrorist attacks.

“I recall radical Islamists around the world cheering the horrors of 9/11. That is the day all civilized people of all religions should remember,” said Republican Sen. Fred Hemmings to the applause of more than 100 people gathered in the Senate to oppose a separate issue — same-sex civil unions.

The resolution to proclaim Sept. 24, 2009, as Islam Day passed the Senate on a 22-3 vote. It had previously passed the House.

The bill seeks to recognize “the rich religious, scientific, cultural and artistic contributions” that Islam and the Islamic world have made. It does not call for any spending or organized celebration of Islam Day.

Contributions to the world? This has to be a joke, Islam has only brought wars and genocide to humanity. It was the 7th Century Versions of  Totalitarianism. If anything Islam has regressed human progress by destroying Indigenous Civilizations and forcing others to constantly be on a war footing.

Why is Islam always treated so special as oppose to other religions?  I will never visit Hawaii and give them money. I don not support Dhimmitude with my money. This also goes against the concept of government promoting a religion. Our leaders in America continue to give into 3% of the population. This is another example of special privileges given to a group. Why not have Jewish Day, Catholic Day, Hindu Day or Buddhist Day? These Religions have contributed way more to humanity than Islam ever has.

Why are they 1/2 steppin’ ? Why not go all out and make Sept 11th “Islam Day” ?

I guess that Seperation of Church & State and Govt. not recognizing a religion only pertains to Christianity.

but islam? it seems whenever i read up on it a little, and i’ll admit im nowhere near a scholar on the subject…but i always come away thinking…”wha…whats that say?….whatre you supposed to do….whatd he say? …what just happened?…type of thing..

Centuries ago, Muslims scholars did make some contributions to human knowledge, in math and astronomy for example, primarily in the form of preserving and transmitting what had already been learned by ancient scholars and philosophers.

Historically interesting, but it should definitely be filed under, “What have you creeps done for us lately?”

    No, terrorism doesn’t count.

It’s nice of Hawaii’s dhimmis to honor the President’s ancestral religion just in time for him to ignore National Prayer Day, though.

In my experience, leftists are aware of the pathologies of the muslim world but it doesn’t resonate with them.

Leftists are too busy frothing about things like FoxNews, Sarah Palin, and gay marriage, to be concerned with suicide bombers, honor killings, child brides, and capital punishment for homosexuals. And if they do say something about the muslim world, it’s usually along the lines of “it’s our fault” or “we exploited them” or some such BS.

911 has been a real boon for Islam within 8 years of that man made disaster they are making in roads to establishing a theocracy in many western nations, Certain groups in the USA & UK are aquiesing to their every whim, Spain has capitulated, and they have a marginally Islamic President of the USA.

If we had a Teddy Roosevelt, FDR, Truman, JFK or Reagan after 9/11 this would not be happening and the Islamo-Fascist movement would be smashed. Instead we had weak leadership of both parties running the government who prevented American rage to be unleashed in charge. Hasn’t anyone notice that immigration from Muslim countries has increased? I have heard stories of how Muslims are being given fast track path to immigration compared to other groups like Hispanics, Asians and Europeans.

Bin Laden knew what he was doing and I will admit, they are winning.

As for Spain you aint seen nothing yet. After and if Israel is backstabbed and dismantles, Spain will be next. The US/EU will force Spain to give up Ceuta and Mellila on the North African Coast. Then the Muslims will demand a right of return to Andalusia. After that Spain will be forced to give Andalusia to the Muslims. If Spain obects NATO will bomb them.
    That is the plan.

What bothers me about this (beyond the Separation of Church & state issues) is that it took 9/11 to bring a “more moderate foreign policy towards the Arab world”, “Islam day”, our first Muslim Congressperson, etc.

It is emblematic of where the soul of America is today. They murder 3000 of our citizens, and our response is to give them everything we can put our hands on.

I don’t think that is possible. IIRC (and I could be wrong) Islam doesn’t use the Christian calendar. Thus wouldn’t the day “mohammad left for Medina” change every year as does the Jewish calendar, and holidays?

    Rodan,
I can’t lay blame on Bush & Cheney. They did everything that they could. The Democrats stabbed them in the back not unlike their idealogical predecessors the Reds did to Russia during WWI.

Bush was put into the awkward position of having to fight a PC war. The donks and their media with Soros sponsorship put on a full court press against Anything and Everything that Bush ever did including the defense of the USA, and we still won militarily. (Hell their still out to get Bush and Cheney. They won’t be happy til they’re swinging from a rope just ask Senator Dodd or any other Donk mouthpiece)

Do you think that without the donk back-Stab we would be putting more pressure on the Syrias and Irans of the world? The donks put us on the defensive when we were winning through propaganda alone.

I blame the American people for allowing themselves to be lead around by the nose by our POS media.

  42. 44 | May 7, 2009 11:03 am

    WrathofG-d,
Yes you are correct. Islam follows a lunar Calendar which changes every year. The Haj, Mo’s flight from Mecca to Medina is when the Islamic Calendar starts. Also, I believe this Islam Day only applies to just September 24th of this year. I don’t think it is yearly. I could be wrong though.

Well then, seems I was wrong. It happens.

I wonder if Hawaii knew why September 24 was picked, or if they just figured it was a random day.

Based on a history of Islamists telling only 1/2 of the Truth, I would bet it was the latter. Like when Islamists during a Co-Religion Conference, suggested to Christians that if they would just give up, or deemphasize the Trinity, it would go a long way to bring peace between Islam and Christianity across the world. What they didn’t tell those Christians was that it would also make them “muslims”.

  44. 46 | May 7, 2009 11:08 am

    Justa,

” can’t lay blame on Bush & Cheney. They did everything that they could”

No they didn’t. Unlike FDR who mobilzed this nation for War, Bush didn’t. he called Islam a religion of Peace, increased the amout of Muslism immigrating here, Kissed up to the Saudis and helped create the Islamic Nation of Kosovo. Bush gets no pass from me. I hold him responsible as I do the Democrats/Soros advances.

A real leader would of put this nation on war time footing, put the media in its place like Lincoln and FDR did. A real leader would tell the American people the truth of Islam’s Imperialist expansion over the centuries and stop Immigration from Islamic countries. That would be a real leader.

  45. 47 | May 7, 2009 11:13 am

Yup I remember that. They also said Christian shgould respect Mo as a holy man. That would make us Muslims. This would be like telling Jews to accept Jesus, that would be the end of Judaism.

To me real Religious dialogue and tolerance is when different faiths work together on things they have in common and respect their differences. Not changing each other’s doctrine.

To me real Religious dialogue and tolerance is when different faiths work together on things they have in common and respect their differences. Not changing each other’s doctrine.

Exactly, but because of the over willingness of Jews and Christians to find peace with Muslims, that isn’t what happens. It usually comes down to Jews or Christians breaking their religion, and bending over to the Islamists demands. Furthermore, the Islamists prey on the naivety of the Jews and Christians and trick them into making “Islam days” and compromises that within Islam mean more than they are letting on.

One example of such is this. While the Arab world whines and complains about their treatment by the “horribly insensitive West”, and the “evil, mean Jews”, and how they dare malign them in even the slightest, the following is how the Arab world reacts to the Swine Flu, and treats Jews/The West.

I really only voted for the Republican Party, not Bush. I never liked him and his dad much less. Plus I really hated Kerry so that was another motivator. FDR had the advantage of the war-time loyalty of the GOP. The GOP don’t put party over country unlike the donks. FDR also made tons of errors in his prosecution of the war with many Soviet agents like Alger Hiss in his administration.

This isn’t 41′. Times have changed. When the Japs bombed Pearl Harbor we didn’t have moonbats running their mouths about ‘what did we do to make the Japanese mad at us.’ Back then when the media got out of line FDR came down on them hard. That is apparently impossible today.

Short of a nuclear strike on the USA no Prez is going to have the mandate or wartime authority that FDR had, and even with that I kind of doubt it.

Hell, the donks are giving illegal combatants, who would have been subject to summary battlefield execution during WWII, civil rights. FDR could intern populations of obstensibly innocent US citizens without anyone batting an eye.

The probelm is the Islamic influence in our government. The Bush family was involved in Oil, so Bush grew up around Muslims and believed that Islam is OK. After 9/11 Bush could of done what FDR did. He didn’t because he underestimated what we are up against. Also he truly believes that islam is peace crap. he just couldn’t grasp what Islam is really about. Also he didn’t fight back against The Left. I’m not sure any Prez would or could get a declaration of total war against Islam based on 911. I’m hardocre, and even I can’t see the justification for that.

The approach taken by Bush & Cheney is about as aggressive an approach against terrorism as you will see by any potential Prez around at this time especially given the domestic opposition. I agree with you that Bush should have taken a more aggressive stand against the angry left. I’m not sure if the right had the media muscle to make much of a difference, and I can’t totally condemn the guy for how he handled it. Many people that repudiate Bush now should ask themselves what could they have done to help fend off the left. The left were fully mobilized on every level to take down America.

  63. 65 | May 7, 2009 3:21 pm

In order to understand Islam you must understand the story of Issac and Ishmael. To be short, Issac was Abraham’s son via Sarah, as promised by God. Ishmael was a son by a maid of Sarah as they were trying to help God produce his promise. So God eventually rejects Ishmael.

He produces the Arabs, Ishmael was bitter down in his DNA in his rejection by God. His descendents then reject the two revalatory religions Judaism and Christianity to invent their own Satanic religion. Islam at its core is for the bitter and rejected souls in th earth. That is why it does so well in prisions, and among people that are bitter and feel rejected and sit all day long on the pitty-potty. (Think of many American Blacks…Nation of Islam etc.) Or self-pitying Arabs. Islam is the great magnet of God to draw all the bitter and hateful to one place (Spiritually) for judgement.

The escape is the same for everyone, accept Christ and any rejection on you is lifted. No invented religion will help either, not Darwinism, not Obamism, or Communism, or LGFism. Mankind only has so long to accept the truth, then God will send delusions into the earth, and people WILL believe them to their destruction…think of liberalism…it is a mental disorder.

Think of CJ, who was surrounded by truth…he chose to reject.

    #1 ex,

“The bill seeks to recognize “the rich religious, scientific, cultural and artistic contributions” that Islam and the Islamic world have made”

It’s my understanding that either due to arabic culture or due to Islam, that their way of life is not built upon their own hard work.

From what little I’ve read about Muslims, I learned that they are like the Borg from the Star Trek TV show:
they gain wealth by attacking people of other cultures and taking it by force, stealing it; they do not create their own wealth.

(Well, with the Borg it was technology and not wealth, but you see what I mean.)

If Muslims don’t get wealth from stealing it from other people, they come across it by luck (e.g., oil in their lands).

They are not producers or creators. They plunder.
