4 life terms for Islamic Terrorists in Fort Dix case

CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) – A man who was the “epicenter of the conspiracy” to kill military personnel was sentenced to life in prison and a fellow plotter was sentenced to 33 years as a judge on Wednesday finished sentencing five Muslim immigrants who contemplated an attack on Fort Dix.

On Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Robert Kugler had sentenced the three others involved in the plot to at least life in prison.

Overall, Kugler seemed to accept the position of prosecutors that the plot was one of the most frightening homegrown terrorism plots ever hatched in the U.S.

Under federal law, none of the four men given life sentences will be eligible for parole. With each of the four, Kugler cited their actions in the plot, their run-ins with the law—either before the investigation began or in the federal detention center in Philadelphia—and what he called their radical Islamist ideology.

These Guys were Albanians and Bosnian. This is why I supported and still support Serbia. Muslims are not reliable. This is why we need to stop Islamic Immigration.

Keith Olbermann laughed this off last year as a Bush era over reaction to a bunch of “Keystone Kops” incompetents.

Whether it involves Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, or atheists – I would never support Muslims in any conflict.

Just last night I was talking with an Arabic Moslem and he was telling me how freaking insane he thinks Arabs are. In just our 10-15 minute talk I learned a ton about the culture of the Middle East from his point of view.

So while I think immigration needs to be curtailed, I don’t think all Moslems should be singled out. This guy loves America and the freedoms we enjoy compared to where he came from.

I would hate to exclude someone like that just because other Moslems act like hamassholes.

    Speranza,
I never support islam. America is too Pro-Islamic in my opinion. I wish we can get rid of the Islamic influence on America. Also Olbermann openly supports the Islamists.

Because Greece was so anti American in the 1960’s, 70’s, and 80’s (and anti Israel/ anti Semitic as well) especially under Andreas Papandreou’s neo Marxist regime, I tended to be more sympathetic towards Turkey (Turkey was a good NATO ally) in their conflicts with Greece. However no more!

    Speranza,
The reason Greec was anti American is because teh US supported Turkey against Greece in 1974 in their invasion of Cyprus. Same with Serbs, the US bombed them in 95 and 99.

There is Anti-Americanism on both left and right in Greece.

Anti-Americanism on Greek Left because US supported 1967 “Colonels Coup” against leftist Greek govt.

Anti-Americanism on Greek Right because of US support for Turkey in Cyprus and Albanians against their Orthodox brothers the Serbs.

The Greeks ( I used to live in Astoria) were anti American even before the Cyprus 1974 problem. They also were very anti Semitic always making comments about Henry Kissinger’s Jewish background.

The Rightwing Greeks I totally understand their Anti-Americanism. We always back Islam against Non Islamic nations. Always, I just don’t get it.

Glad to hear this. Husband does his monthly reserve drills at Ft. Dix.

The Orthodox always get the short end when it comes to conflicts because we don’t have a good PR firm on our side. There’s no CAIR for Orthodoxy, unfortunately. If there had been, people would have had a more realistic view of the Balkan issue, and the Serbs wouldn’t be viewed as devils.
