Israel’s “Simon” Super-Dart Door-Busting Projectile

The Israelis have developed an explosive M-16-fired “dart” that can bust doors down from 300-ft away.  I wish humans didn’t have to invent these sort of things, but I’m glad Israel has it.

WoG, the world is, and has always been, a dangerous place.
If only these types of weapons only stayed in the hands of the good guys.

On the cable channel “The Military Channel” there is a program called “Future Weapons” which has had several episodes on Israeli weapons systems. Israeli weapons engineers are brilliant!

I hate to say it but according to the video this projectile can be fired up to 30 yards from the target, which would be 90 feet.

This is an interesting variation on the rifle grenade launcher. I could use one of these when my sister’s kids take the bathroom hostage. ‘Lock me out, will you. Just you wait!’ >:)
