53. Former LGF'er

What they call the "Anne Frank house" was actually the building where her father's business was located. They hid out <a href="http://www.annefrank.org/content.asp?PID=106&LID=2" rel="nofollow">in a secret annex</a> in the building that was accessible by a hidden door behind a bookcase.

All of the rooms had quotes from Anne's diary painted on the walls.

Like one was something to the effect of "I read in the papers today that they are gassing the Jews". I can't remember the quote exactly and they wouldn't allow cameras in, but reading the words in the place they were written was wonderfully terrible (if that makes any sense).

They had even preserved a wall where Anne had pasted pictures out of magazines to make the view beautiful. It was heart wrenching.

@Former
That is just part of the outside wall. I believe it can be raised and offer a view inside when needed.

15- Arwyn,
Is Anne Frank's house really barricaded with cement barriers? If so, that is SO SAD! That's what it looked like from your photo.

Cloudy, I was asking to refresh after I had deactivated a new picture plugin that was added last night.

If it's still happening, it isn't that.

But in <a href="http://s587.photobucket.com/albums/ss311/arwynkafir/?action=view&current=ams_screenshot.jpg" rel="nofollow">my firefox</a> it looks fine. And the image is width="527" height="395" with no div tags at all. Just p align center.

It's got me perplexed I tells ya. lol

But it's almost 1 am, I might be looking right over something.

Arwyn, you were asking me in another thread if I could try re-freshing my browser to see if that would work.

I tried that, and I tried clearing my cache and then reloading, and the Darth Vader image is still not showing up correctly.

Maybe the "width" attribute is just typed in wrong?

Say, if the image is supposed to be 425 pixels wide, maybe you accidentally typed in "25" or something?

Or, if it's in a "div" tag, maybe the wrong width was given to the "div" tag?

Cloudy, I think we all got the "exceeded it's cpu quota" thingie for a minute. Hopefully that was just because I uploaded a bunch of those pictures and not something weird. I know Savage has plenty in his quota, lol.
