Chuck Johnson
Verb: related to Godwin’s law and Godwinism’s. To ‘Chuck Johnson’s’ is to label a person, group or philosophy with the reductio ad Hitlerum tag as means to close down debate.

Chuck: transitive verb, meaning to a: toss , throw, Noun: Short for Charles

Johnson: refers to the owner of the news aggregating, formally conservative, anti jihad site and now anti-creationism pro Darwin website Little Green Footballs. Which has become synonymous with personality cults, blogtatorship and calling previous colleagues and acquaintances of long and respected standing fascists, Nazis, Racists or ID’er (derogatory term for a belief in creationism. For simply having web links or opinions on their own personal web pages which he/CJ disapproves of.

To ‘Chuck a Johnson’ can also be used to describe over use of the delete/banning function on web forums to those who hold contrary opinions.

Charles Johnson biggest censorship ass hat 2008.

http://infidelbloggerawards.blogspot.com/2008/11/announcing-winners-of-1st-annual.html

1) Person A, calls person B a fascist on the basis of flimsy evidence or hearsay derived from an individual with known antagonistic political view points or malicious agenda.

Person B replies ‘don’t Chuck Johnson’s at me’
Or points out to fellow bloggers/posters that ‘A is chucking johnston’s’ and in effect has evoked Godwins law, thus destroying the thread and any chance at meaningful debate.

2)Blog owner deletes and bans regular posters/contributers for disagreeing with his pet hates or hypocritical changes in ideological position.

Person A: ‘look he is chucking johnson’s everywhere’
Person B: ‘I know, I don’t recognize the place now so many people have been banned. And the threads are so full of deletions it’s impossible to follow the argument, he/she sure threw a lot of (Chuck) Johnson’s’

Surfing around blogs for the Pam Geller posts about Aqsa Parvez, I notice a lot of discontent LGFers who couldn’t post their thoughts at LGF.

When you see people like that, please point them our way!

    The more, the merrier!

Guys, I posted the following to ChenZhen before noticing the request to move this to the open thread. SO, I’m reposting it here.
    ———————————-

    sk said…
    8:36 am – February 24th, 2009

I notice that ChenZhen hasn’t responded to my question. Of course, that is his choice, but if we are talking motives here, the choice not to respond may be telling.

To make things easier, I’ll reprint my response.

ChenZhen, I don’t know you from Adam (though it seems you have a lefty blog, which tells me something), and I’m puzzled. In your latest blog entry on your own blog, you do not question the motives of those who championed the “Obama is the ape in question” narrative. You just disputed the narrative itself (rather well, I’d add). What, then, are the circumstances under which you start ruminating and spouting off concerning motives?

Personally, I’m just about as anti-Islam as one can get. But I’ll tell you this: if I did what Geller did, here would be my “motives.” I’d see a girl who tried to get away from the death cult that she grew up in and was killed for it. I would feel a special sympathy for someone like that, beyond the normal sympathy for a teenager murdered by her family. I’d also know that “honor killings” are a tool that Islam uses to maintain control as it infiltrates Western countries and spreads jihad. Thus, I would be motivated to lessen the effectiveness of this tool. Finally, there is a responsibility to do charitable deeds, and if I had the visibility of PG, I would certainly be inclined to use it for this purpose.

But now back to you, and to your own motives for questioning motives.

Well, all this talk of Godwin, Nazi’s, und der Chucklemeister has given me a little inspiration this morning.

Remember the WWII Donald Duck Cartoon, “In Der Füherer’s Face”? Here’s the LGF version:

    Vhen der Johnson says:
“Dis blog it ist meine space!”
    Ve heil! Heil!
    Right in der Johnson’s face!
    Not to luff der Johnson
    Is a great disgrace!
    So ve heil! Heil!
    Right in der Johnson’s face!
    Vhen der Killgore says:
    “Put believers in their place!”
Ve heil! Heil! Right in der Killgore’s face!
Ist ve not der SuperBlog? Ja, ve ist der SuperBlog
    Superduper SuperBlog! Pure Lizardroid SuperBlog!
    Vhen die Medaura says:
    “Die Serbs are a disgrace!”
Ve heil! Heil! right in Medaura’s face!
Ist dis Lizardland sehr gut? Ja dis Lizardland ist gut!
Vut you leave it if you could? Ve vould a leave it if we could!

You see, what I really want to know from ChenZhen (and from Lex, for that matter) is an explanation for all the personal sh*t when there are important things to do. My view is that ChenZhen & Lex don’t think that jihad is particularly important. It’s just a hobby for them to opine about now and then.

As for “motives,” the ACLU is focused on getting useful court cases. And, its prestige and funding depend on winning such cases. Thus, one could talk about “motives” for every move the organization makes.

I am much more interested in understanding the motives of those who focus on motives than I am in any dirt on anti-jihad honchos.

And after reading her GOV vs LGF site (which is quite witty at times) I got the impression that she changed her mind through personal interaction with some Muslims. Sphinx I think his name is, if you read his rebuttals to legitimate criticisms of Islam they consist of ‘ well I am a nice guy and muslim and so are the muslims that I know, so you must be wrong’ or words to that effect.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter if there are ‘good’ muslims or not.

People who assume a few good muslims equals most muslims are good are missing the big picture. *Islam* is not good.

I’m not going to get into all the stuff from the quran and hadiths that prove it is bad. But the bottom line is – all true muslims, nice or not, worship a man who committed the most horrible, inhuman crimes, even raping at least one child. And muslims consider him a *perfect* example of human conduct!

Frankly, nice or not, I don’t like people who revere a child-molester.

You don’t have to read the quran and hadiths to learn about islam. Just learn about the man who created islam:

This is a little, ok, a lot off topic, but I received it a few minutes ago. I’m not a big fan of email forwards, but this one is appropriate to the Obama economic thinking!

    ***Economics 101***

Shortly after class, an economics student approaches his economics professor and says, “I don’t understand this stimulus bill. Can you explain it to me?”

The professor replied, “I don’t have any time to explain it at my office, but if you come over to my house on Saturday and help me with my weekend project, I’ll be glad to explain it to you.” The student agreed.

At the agreed-upon time, the student showed up at the professor’s house. The professor stated that the weekend project involved his backyard pool.

They both went out back to the pool, and the professor handed the student a bucket. Demonstrating with his own bucket, the professor said, “First, go over to the deep end, and fill your bucket with as much water as you can.” The student did as he was instructed.

The professor then continued, “Follow me over to the shallow end, and then dump all the water from your bucket into it.” The student was naturally confused, but did as he was told.

The professor then explained they were going to do this many more times, and began walking back to the deep end of the pool.

The confused student asked, “Excuse me, but why are we doing this?” The professor matter-of-factly stated that he was trying to make the shallow end much deeper. The student didn’t think the economics professor was serious, but figured that he would find out the real story soon enough.

However, after the 6th trip between the shallow end and the deep end, the student began to become worried that his economics professor had gone mad. The student finally replied, “All we’re doing is wasting valuable time and effort on unproductive pursuits. Even worse, when this process is all over, everything will be at the same level it was before, so all you’ll really have accomplished is the destruction of what could have been truly productive action!”

The professor put down his bucket and replied with a smile, “Congratulations! You now understand the stimulus bill.”

DJM, he was on OReilly last night.

I wanted to chuck a shoe at the TV when O’really bloviated about how anyone could piece together 15 mins of hate from ANY religion — Christina, Buddhist…

Geert shut him down when he responded that no you couldn’t because he used actual film, not actors. And OReilly couldn’t find the footage to fill 15 mins of “kill ‘em all” from other religions.

    OH SNAP!

(edit: Christian, not Christina… although my cousin probably would love the idea of a religion of Christina :o )

I wouldn’t hold my breath on the prospect of CJ coming over here to debate you guys. Ain’t gonna happen. Unless he’s used sockpuppets, I’ve never seen him comment on any blog other than his own. He’s no fun.

    sk-

You see, what I really want to know from ChenZhen (and from Lex, for that matter) is an explanation for all the personal sh*t when there are important things to do. My view is that ChenZhen & Lex don’t think that jihad is particularly important. It’s just a hobby for them to opine about now and then.

I view blogging altogether as a hobby, actually.

But as far as whether I view “jihad” as important, I do. Well, at least in the sense that I support the most rational and effective counterterrorism tactics to protect the nation while maintaining our civil liberties and not trampling on the Constitution. I don’t offer up my opinion on it as much as I used to, but I still have one.

Someday, someone is going to have to explain what the so-called “anti-jihad” movement really is, aside from ranting and raving about hijabs and footbaths, and little stunts like Pam’s. I don’t see how its really accomplishing anything. It’s not like you guys are taking Arabic lessons and translating al Qaeda websites and intercepting coded messages from the enemy or anything like that. That’s why I get a kick out of the “citizen soldier” bit in Pam’s header. She isn’t stopping jihad. She’s just pissing people off, and making herself look like a crazy fringe extremist. And yea, sometimes I can’t help but comment on it.

On top of that, how often do you see a priest, a minister, or a rabbi waving a sword to emphasize violent Bible verses, while the congregation chants “Kill the heathens”? Muslim sermons read in text only does not convey the disdain and seething hatred espoused by imams from their ‘pulpits’ for anyone not a muslim. The fact that muslims take their ‘kill the Infidels and Jews’ verses seriously, as current events show all the time, while those who follow the Bible do not, is the moral equivalence that really pisses me off about about such deliberately blind talking head dhimmis like BO’R .

    *ATTENTION CITIZENS*

It is my pleasure to inform you all that we, The Blogmocracy, have SCOOPED 1.0 once again. (That makes 2x in one day) Despite something fishy goin on over at 1.0.

The Blogmocracy: Posted a story about the $900 Million being pledged to Gaza on 23 Feb 2009 @ 5:55 PM
    {www.littlegreenfootballs2.com/2009/02/23/us-to-pledge-900-million-to-gaza/}

1.0 claims that they: Posted a story about the $900 Million being pledged to Gaza (making the same monetary complaint we did) on 23 February 2009 @ 5:16
    {http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/32872_During_Financial_Crisis_Obama_Sends_$1B_to_Gaza}

Either (a) The Blogmocracy’s time is all messed up or (b) something fishy is going on because I specifically checked 1.0 before and after I posted the above, and they had not covered this issue yet. I am confident we had it 1st.

  117. Escovado
    117 | February 24, 2009 11:24 am

    Arwyn Kafir,

I would go farther than that.

In the Bible, God promised the land to Abraham but his descendents could not take it because the wickedness of the Amorites was not yet made full (Genesis 15:16). God used the Jews as an instrument of judgment against the peoples they made war with in the promised land. (There are other reasons for the total destruction of these peoples that I won’t go into now.) Also, when Israel became wicked, God used their enemies to defeat and enslave them as well. The commands to make war in the Old Testament were directed toward a specific people at a specific time in history. God judges nations in the here and now. Anyone claiming that these commands to make war in the OT can be construed for use today is completely clueless about what is in the text.

The Koran is a different story altogether. Unlike the Bible, the Koran has no context or chronology. The passages that command Muslims to kill the infidels are directed toward all unbelievers. From what I understand, when put in their chronological order, the “kill the infidel” passages are the later ones that abrogate the earlier “no compulsion in religion” passages. Even without that, the witness of history plainly shows that Islam is spread by the sword.

The modern jihadists are simply doing what Muhammad commanded them to do. I am glad there are “moderate” Muslims who don believe that way, but there will always be jihadists because that is what the Koran commands them to do.

Yeah Wrath, they read us. And they stalk us. Why wouldn’t they, their own blog is a joke.

And if they would bother to look at the time stamps of the thread entries they would know that they were scooped. Time stamps don’t lie. Or maybe that’s too scientific for the little pea brained lizards?

  119. DJM
    119 | February 24, 2009 11:31 am

    Escovado – check this out:

If you put the quran in chronological order, it is divided in two – Muhammad’s Meccan period and his Madina period. The earlier part is in direct contrast to the Old Testament, while the later part contrasts the New Testament.

In other words, the New Testament abrogated much of the Old Testament cruelty, barbarity and punishments with more peaceful verses of kindness and forgiveness.

But in the quran, the newer part (the Madina period) abrogated the earlier more peaceful verses with cruelty and barbarity!

When a muslim quotes a peaceful verse like “To you your religion, and to me, mine.” 99 times out of 100, that peaceful verse is from the Meccan period and has been abrogated by a violent Madina verse like “Kill the unbelievers.”

As to the time stamps, I think ours are messed up, as I have seen discrepancies between post times within threads. I don’t know much about the internal coding of blogs, etc., but I assume that like everything else, it can be changed.

Wrath…not surprising 2.0 has scooped Der Chucklemeister. Since he threw Robert Spencer under the bus, his coverage of all things jihadist has dropped off. It’s rapidly becoming all creationism, all the time over there.

Quite a bit has happened in the last week in terms of the Global Jihad that der Chucklemeister has not touched on…more Buddhist schoolteachers killed in Southern Thailand, Christians attacked in Nigeria, accelerating Dhimmitude from both the US and UK governments, random Jihadist rocket firings at Israel, etc. etc.

DJM and Wrath of God, you guys are doing a great job! This is what 1.0 should have matured to but unfortunately 1.0’s growth was stunted by the blog owners huge ego.

Never mind, 2.0 will take us to new heights! 2.0 reminds me of 1.0 back in Bush days. I used to get a certain ‘conservative high’ at 1.0 but not anymore. I’m proud tosay, I’m getting that high again at 2.0!

I suspect Charles has always been a liberal. It’s just in the last 20 years or so, the Liberals have embraced the hard core looney left, causing the better liberals running over to the Conservatives, calling themselves ‘Social Conservatives’, yeah right. And now these ‘Johnny come lately’s’ want to redefine conservatives and tell us the Christians among the conservatives are a nuisance of sorts. Guess what Charles, the original voting block of the conservatives were ALWAYS been and will ALWAYS be, from day one, the Bible thumpers whom you hate so much. The majority of conservatices ARE Christians. Without them, conservatives would be another Ralph Nader party. Get that through your thick skull Charles, you and your stupid lackeys in your echo chamber.

Go start a party, lets see how you ’social conservatives’ fare. Nothing like a good ego bashing to bring you down to the ground.

BTW Charles, I don’t believe in Evolution and yes, it should be thrown out of the school curriculum. LOL!!! Go Creationist go!

    Osprey,

LGF’s shift away from the Jihad has been going on a long time IMHO, I personally think that he has just got scared of the implications of what he is involved in.

Although to be fair to the old boy, what is there not to be scared about with Holy war? I would respect CJ more if he just came out and said ‘look I have been doing this everyday for the last 8 years. I have odd/scary people invading my space 24/7, I have had enough, someone else please take over.’

But I suppose the crowd he has had following him the last few years or so is a good little earner, and ego inflation is an addictive drug, so who can begrudge him a safe little retirement in a quiet spot on the internet.

A place where he can relive his glory days, by getting on his moral high horse against people he knows will not do anything to him, other than make contrary blogs, or snarky submissions on urban dictionary.

But it would be nice, if in his retirement, he could just do us all a favor and stop Chucking Johnson’s around.

And BTW, lizard jcm in #499 and #540 said exactly what Song did, making the argument that abusive parents might be deprived of custody rights even after the child is dead. He dropped the subject when Sharmuta steered him away from that line.

    DJM

    That is some great info.

With regard to the New Testament abrogating the Old Testament.

I am not sure I can correctly articulate my position. But I will try, Jesus is described as: “and the Word became flesh and dwelt amongst us.” The word that we had at the time was only the Old Testament. I can only take that to mean that somehow Jesus is the Old Testament as God intended it. All the beautiful qualities that Jesus displays are in the Old Testament.
Jesus also claimed He did not come to destroy but to fulfil, so in light of these the New Testament cannot possibly abrogate the Old Testament.

I don’t pretend that I fully grasp the concept that I am suggesting. But I do see the Old Testament in a completely different light now and combined with the corrections that Jesus gave to the religious leaders of that day and how while obeying the letter of the law they violate the very heart of it.

So what I am saying is when the Old Testament is seen in the proper context it does not appear to be unjust and unloving or Jesus would also appear that way.

There was probably over six months ago. I think that he decided she was a Eurofascist & race supremacist, for wanting Italy to remain European, Roman Catholic and the West to stick to it’s foundational judeochristian roots.

So you see in his eyes she was goose stepping, Hitler wannabe who should be disposed of straight away. This was about the time I think that Chuck was receiving ideological imprinting from the radical leftist Ivanid Stroman (however you spell his name), regarding the Vlaams Belang affair.

    She just DISAPPEARED.

At the end of the year, when LGF votes on the Fisk and Fallaci awards, we were simply told that there would only be a Fisk award for 2008. I think CJ wanted to avoid the subject, which he could not do if he renamed the Fallaci award.)

For example, instead of saying, “I was banned at LGF, and all I did was politely disagree!” you should say, “I was chucked a Johnson!”

Bar, I don’t know enough about the Bible to debate it. Maybe “abrogate” isn’t the right word as far as it goes. I have read it, and I have done some light studying years ago.

I was only pointing out that the New Testament, via the words of Jesus, changed much of the more cruel aspects of the Old Testament, making the behavior more peaceful.

In the quran, however, the newer part actually replaces the old *peaceful* aspects, making it crueler.

    It’s the opposite.

Yup, Oriana is a Non-Person in the Big Lizard’s digital Oceania.

He doesn’t want to bring the subject up, because of Oriana’s personal history. She actually picked up submachinegun to fight with the Partisans in Northern Italy against the Nazis when she was barely out of puberty. Kind of makes der Chucklemeister look like a total fool to call her a Nazi.

Just like they completely ignore all the goose stepping that goes on in Croatia, all the nostalgia for the regime of Ante Pavelic, despite their alleged condemnation of all things “Euro-Fascist”. Anyone that brings that up on LGF is downdinged by Medaura, Jimmah, MPH and Killgore Trout, as it reveals their demonization of the Serbs as “Nazis” for the lie that it is.

Darwin IS Chuckies God. Chuckie worships Darwin. I have nothing against Darwin, from all I’ve read about him, he was a god, honest, intelligent man.

Bu Chuckie puts him on an alter to be worshiped like a God. It’s truly sick. It’s almost sad to see Chuckie having a nervous breakdown like this in public. But they way he has treated and banned people who had honest but courteous disagreements with him, I don’t feel too bad.

Yes, and on that note, I was Chucked a Johnson for also telling Charles, in the midst of his refering to the anti-jihad movement as a bunch of people in a “mindless panic about Islam”, that I felt sorry for him and the land of denial that he dwelled in. That caused a total pants pissing episode for him.

I posted this on Jihad Watch, so I’ll post it here, but I really feel as though Charles started in on this unfounded accusation of Robert Spencer aligning himself with white supremacist fascists due to the momentum and credability Robert, Pamela and Martin Mawyer (Christian Action Network, producer of “Homegrown Jihad”) were gaining within the counter jihad movement. I see CJ as an angsty pre-teen, not sure who he wants to please more – his elders, or those more schooled on this topic (ie the folks listed above) or his peers (or former peers, anyway, the liberal media). However, I noticed this whole flare up insued just weeks before the debut of Spencer’s newest book, Stealth Jihad. I will admit, at first I thought it was a publicity stunt. Then, when I saw some of the cow poo flying, and at a more rapid rate, I new this was a backlash, futile and counter productive, but nonetheless, a backlash. If Charles would just have stuck to the issues, the REAL issues, not all this Creationism blasting, then perhaps his blog would not have started to, as it continues to, spiral out. Oh well…

The Quote from Song & Dance Man made here at 2.0
I don’t know much about Canadian law, but here in America if parents abuse their children they can lose custody of them. Now this girl was murdered by her family, which in my mind is the ultimate abuse, and at that point all rights to the victim of the family should have been abolished and expunged. I don’t know if one can transfer custody of a corpse, but it might have been looked into. Or maybe the state should have marked the grave after confiscating custody from the family of murderers.

Maybe its just me and my anti-scientific creationism, but I fail to see where S&D man advocates “digging” up the corpse. But then I don’t equate Mass Deportations with Mass Murder, if we have 12 million illegal aliens in this country, I say deport them.

    My idea this morning was:
If a father abuses a 16 year and the mother knows about it and does nothing. The 16 can be removed from the home and parental rights terminated.
    Why not posthumously?
In the culture that would be a huge loss of face and honor. To add to it a appropriate inscription could then go on the headstone.

Up until right after the 2006 summer war, disputing the Clinton version of the Balkan Wars was not a taboo topic, but Killgore Trout began smearing those who questioned the MSM history of it as “Holocaust Deniers” and soon after Medaura showed up. During the VB imbroglio, anyone who openly dared to suggest the Serbs were not the only aggressors was “Chucked”. There are still few there who will broach the topic of Croatia’s fascist past and present, but they tread very carefully with it. I think the only reason Chuckles hasn’t “Chucked” them yet is because they are Israeli or Jewish posters and he still likes to maintain the image of being Pro-Israel. If he started banning to many Israelis from his blog it would bring him negative attention he can’t afford. So he tends to let Medaura snipe at them but hasn’t yet done a “Chucking”.

Kilgore: All religions are oppressive, and religious people are all facists!

medaura: The Jews were not supportive of the oppressed and victimized Albanians in the recent struggle against Serbian genocide! and I say this as someone who 1.1111111 parts Jewish myself, but Jews have not always been friendly to the Albanians and some of them even put Israel before Albania, probably because they’re blinded by their devotion to that stupid Old Testament god and do not follow the pure, clear light of reason!

Sharmuta: I agree with everything Kilgore and medaura said! Charles, you da man!

medaura: I suspect Robert Spencer of being a Jew. I’m a Jew too, of course, but I’m a special sort of Jew. Robert Spencer, and Jews who support the Serbs, are bad Jews, and traitors and do not believe in reason and truth.

Kilgore: Many Jews are no better than Christianistas. The secular, non-religious ones are alright, but I can’t stand the more religious kind!

Sharmuta: Too many Jews don’t seem to understand that there are a lot of moderate, non-jihadist Moslems out there. What’s more, some of them don’t seem to believe in evolution, and they tend to be socially conservative.

By-stander: Why are you guys being so hard on Jews? And what’s wrong with being socially conservative/ I thought this was a pro Israel site? What’s more, the creationist threads are boring, so there, nyah, nyah!

Charles: Okay, by-stander, we don’t allow that that kind of language here! Get off my website! And anyone else who thinks criticizing Jews is tantamount to anti-semitism can get off too!

Yaza—– You know, CJ and the LGFers could save a whole lot of time just by having you write their material! You’ve got the script down to a science. (Science!)

Salmantis: The only reason Christians support Israel is that they want to see Armegeddon happen!

Kilgore: That’s right! All Christians, everywhere, actually hate Jews, and only support Israel because they stupidly believe in the end times!

    Sharmuta: That’s right!

meduara: Christians should support atheism, and Albania.

Kilgore: The only thing Christians, everywhere, care about, is bringing about the end of the world! They’re as bad as the Taliban.

medaura: They’re worse than the Taliban, because they don’t support the KLA, and because they’re Crusaders. . . er, poopy-heads who don’t support reason and atheism and all that good stuff!

ImaNutt: Who needs a god? I don’t feel like I need some invisible friend up in the sky, and I don’t know anybody who does.

(Someone who just doesn’t get it): Hey, did I ever tell you about the time I met a ballerina with two heads? I’ve got a great recipe for fudge!

Kilgore: We must beware of Christian extremism even more than Islamic extremism!

By stander: I think you guys are totally wrong about Christians, and Jews, and what’s a two-headed ballerina got to do with anything?

Charles: Okay, By Stander, that’s enough! We don’t allow that sort of thing here! You’re banned!

Sharmuta: Hooray, good for you, Charles!

(Someone still not getting it): Did I ever tell you about the time I ate toe jam?

Well, Savage, I could not agree with you more. Maybe what is more upsetting to me is that I did not see the warning signs of Charles’s Traitorous tendencies sooner. When I had first joined that blog, it felt like a place where people truly understood my conservative, anti-jihad view points. Now, I could not have been more of an outcast…

km——- In the first place, there are many different theologies of the End Times, so it’s hard to generalize. Most evangelicals—-as well as a lot of Catholics—- see the creation of Israel as being part of the hand of God in history in some extraordinary way.

But however the evangelicals see Providence playing out, the important thing is that Israel is the GOOD SIDE. If all they wanted was to bring on the End Times—which incidentally they think is GOD’s job, not theirs— they might as well want Ahmadinejad to get nukes and start throwing them around. That would start some real trouble, eh?

My personal opinion is that the chief reason evangelicals support Israel is that they are so Biblically-oriented. They know the book, they cling to it! They are steeped in Hebrew history, prophecy, and poetry. (They probably have a greater attachment to the Holy Land than a lot of secular Jews.)

They also are VERY aware of God’s promise that he would bless those who bless his chosen people and curse those who curse them. They really, really believe that.

For all our new citizens, I posted at 1.0 as DownRightMeanAmerican
(hat tip to Michelle Obama) and my original nic of “bar” being short for barbqman, I shortened it because making anti-Islamic comments under barbqman may insinuate I want to BBQ and eat Moslems, when in reality I prefer BBQ porkbutt with a spicy vinegar sauce, North Carolina style I think they call it. But it works just fine here in the land of fruits nuts and flakes AKA
    Southern California.

BBQ Moslems doesn’t sound like it taste very good.

Well, DJM, I am not trying to discount that side of being Pro-Israel either, but I think it is unfair, and shortsighted of CJ to see this as something that shouldn’t be a concern, or issue for people of faith, because, oh yeah, they might have a different idea of how we got here. There are both sides of this coin, both very important and helpful to the counter jihad movement, and he is isolating a HUGE group of people who take issue with matters relating to Israel, for religious reasons. I honestly think that people of faith and athiests can work together on the challenges that Israel, and the free world face. However, at some point, the uber religious are going to have to stop cramming their ideas down the collective throat of the conservative, but secular humanists, and the athiests are going to have to stop looking at the religious views of Jews and Christians as archaic and just see that there is a fundemental difference in how we view how we got here, and where we are going when we die. The more important issue is locking arms and pushing back against the islamofacism that is threatening the liberty of Western Civilizations. Religious or not, those of us in the west are in fact great beneficiaries of that civilization, built both on secular Greek and Roman philosophies, as well as Judeo-Christian ideals, and our society has thrived. It is our responsibility to protect that with which we have been blessed.

Wow. Someone is trying to hack my blogger account. I just received 4 emails that say I was trying to access my profile and must follow the link to regain it.

LOL…I am getting chuck johnsoned by hackers again.

Talk about vindictiveness. After my banning at LGF someone tweaked google so that my old LGF email account appeared at the top of the search results for my nic. The link went to the LGF safe mail page. It quit appearing after my 30,000 comments were deleted. My email accounts were also hacked and I got infected with a Trojan Horse. It took me 3 days to fix everything.

Typical “Charles worshipping ” comments from the steady “adoring” few. Charles banning of by-stander isn’t a surprise by any us here, is it? Thanks for posting this for those who might have any doubts as to how crazy this guy has gotten.

I do feel a bit” honored” though. After my being banned, Charles chose to post my parting e-mail to him. Didn’t credit me however…just identified as more “hate mail”. Poor baby, everybody’s soooo mean to him. Ha!

When I first arrived here at this site I was wondering if there was going to be enough wind in the sails to make this project work but the response to this particular post is encouraging considering the number of replies! I haven’t posted as much as I would like but I check the site out and I like the content. Keep up the good work! It does seem like replies are more numerous when it comes to LGF – not surprising. We all hope that people continue to defect once it is apparent the emperor hath no clothes.

The recent denial of Islamic Jihadism is puzzling to me even for CJ but perhaps his true colors are showing. The hardliners will always support him but those who have the ability to reason will leave if not now, in time. For my part, I like the fact that I can say something here that I cannot over there and that is that I agree with Robert Spencer that jihadism is a core element of Islam and as such, all infidels must eventually be eliminated to support the goal of this so called religion. For that reason alone, the religion is not based on any Truth and is in fact fallacious – IMHO.

I just want to take care that LGF2 doesn’t become an evolutionism/Darwinism bashing site. I think its safe to say that there’s a lot of diversity here and we should respect each others’ views.

(Except for Islamofascists. Pedophile worshipers are not welcome if I have a say.)

    DJM,

Yes, The Blogmocracy is not solely a Creationist site, nor are we an Evolutionist site. We accept, encourage, and enjoy all points of view on the subject (and practically all subjects) as long as you can do so with class, and respect for the person presenting the other view.

Although particular Admins might have one point of view over another we, as a Blogmocracy, do not take sides but instead respect all points of views presented politely.

We extend that odd concept presented in the American Bill of Rights called the Freedom of Speech, to our citizens.

I was shocked to discover that anti-religious bigotry is apparently the “coin of the realm” over at LGF. The other day a friend of mine, also a conservative, told me I should take a look at it, so I did. Well, I need to speak with her and find out if she’s aware of the outright hatred of people of faith being exhibited, not really in the articles but in the hundreds of comments!

I have to agree with what I read on the home page of this blog, that in their zeal to marginalize people of faith, and abolish any discussion of alternatives to evolution, they are simply hastening their own demise.

In my 5+ years of blogging I have seen a lot of different opinions.
Ranging from those that consider a Christian knocking on their door to preach to them to be akin to an Islamic terrorist beheading them.

Only recently have I encountered this leftist claim that Christians are haters or anti-Semitic because of Christian doctrine, being the belief that only those who believe in Christ are saved from hell.

First of all we Christians are commanded to love our God with all our heart and all of our mind and to love our neighbor as myself, in those two very simple commandments reside all the laws and the prophets, so as long as I obey those commandments it matters not what I THINK.
Because I personally have no authority over anyone to say who goes where and for what.

If certain people want to consider me a hater because of such, then so be it, but in that same regard all religions must then be examined under the same microscope.
I personally expect Jews to believe their religion is the correct one and Buddhist, Atheists ect.. the same, because why would they or you otherwise follow said religion?

Hagar, what Yaza wrote above was a parody; those were not actual quotes taken from LGF. But they were very amusing, made-up quotes :)

I have yet to come across any Christian or group of Christians who support Israel because they want to hasten the return of Christ.

One of the reasons so many Christians support Israel is out of a sincere love and concern for the Jewish people.

As Jesus said, “salvation is of the Jews.” Gentile believers in Jesus recognize that we owe a debt of gratitude to the Jewish people.

In my case, not only do those reasons apply, but I am angry at the discrimination and violence against Jews that has gone on through-out history. As an extension of that, I support Israel.

Seeing as how Jesus’ return to earth is left up to God the Father, I have no idea how any Christian could “force” Jesus to return at any particular time period. To think otherwise is pretty laughable.

Thanks to bar for pasting in all the quotes over the ’song_and_dance_man’ fiasco.
