Nancy Pelosi Encourages Abortion As Method To Limit Financial Burden To Country
During an interview with George Stephanopoulous, Nancy Pelosi defends the portion of trillion dollar so-called stimulus plan which allocates millions of dollars to abortion clinics, and other “family planning” institutions by explaining how it will limit the burden children are having on society.
Yes, seriously!
STEPHANOPOULOS: Hundreds of millions of dollars to expand family planning services. How is that stimulus?
PELOSI: Well, the family planning services reduce cost. They reduce cost. The states are in terrible fiscal budget crises now and part of what we do for children’s health, education and some of those elements are to help the states meet their financial needs. One of those – one of the initiatives you mentioned, the contraception, will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government.
STEPHANOPOULOS: So no apologies for that?
PELOSI: No apologies. No. we have to deal with the consequences of the downturn in our economy.

The unspoken premise of Nancy Pelosi’s statement is frightening! No matter where you stand on the abortion debate, the cold and emotionally unattached manner in which she speaks about the manufacturing of society through specific population control should send a chill up your spine. Pelosi’s statements echo the harsh logic of any of history’s Chinese dictators, or German Fascists.

“COUPLES who have more than two children are being “irresponsible” by creating an unbearable burden on the environment, the government’s green adviser has warned.
Jonathon Porritt, who chairs the government’s Sustainable Development Commission, says curbing population growth through contraception and abortion must be at the heart of policies to fight global warming. He says political leaders and green campaigners should stop dodging the issue of environmental harm caused by an expanding population.
A report by the commission, to be published next month, will say that governments must reduce population growth through better family planning.”

If you want to reduce state and federal costs, you fire a lot of superfluous employees, cut perks and benefits for government workers and stop importing hordes of illegal immigrants who are the really big drain on services. Reduce pork, not kids.
Pelosi’s comments remind me of China’s policy towards “family planning” their female children, and only allowing males be born because of the a female’s lack of benefit to overall society. (their idea, not mine)
This idea is simply atrocious!
The fact that her comments aren’t on the front page of every newspaper, and she isn’t being forced to leave office is a tragedy, and national embarrassment.
Her remarks also reveal the mindset that kids belong to the state, not their parents, and that it’s the state’s responsibility to provide all sorts of services for them.
And, of course, when the state can’t provide—when it’s spent too much money on elegant offices, trips, special perks and pensions—then it’s the kids who have to go, not the state. In this sort of mindset, when the economy plunges, it’s the kids, not all these nebulous “services” that must be cut. The idea that, maybe, we should help kids’ parents get decedent jobs so they can support their own children, is never considered.
But, Nancy, if there aren’t any more kids, who’se going to pay all those future taxes that support government programs? Mexico? Mars?

Aborted babies don’t vote!
So, where are the data showing that women with abortions have significantly smaller families by the end of their lives? Abortion provides a way for a woman to manager her “inclusive fitness” (as the sociobiologists say). If she can’t get the man to marry her after getting pregnant, she knows that her chances to get a husband in the future drop tremendously (or she will get a much lower status man). So, she aborts. It’s a nice racket, but the eventual number of births may well be the same–only the deaths will be different.
Murder for money is always a fair trade on the side of the Stan lovers.

Interesting that “right to choose” of the mother has evolved over time into societal usefulness of child.
The callousness in which they discuss children is appalling, and getting worse.
Maybe we should work towards only having “productive” citizens born.
I think that’s what they are working towards, Bayonet, and it’s not good.
Who’se going to decide who’se a “productive” citizen? And “productive” to who? Elitists like Nancy Pelosi? The government, which is currently messing up the economy? Some insane mullah? Social workers? Donald Trump?
And suppose somebody doesn’t want to be “productive” for the good of the state, or work 24/7 for “the greater good”? (whatever that means?) ? Or suppose they’re sick, or disabled? What happens to them then? Come to think of it, are most of our politicians really good for much of anything? Are they really useful? But you know no one’s ever going to question their usefulness to society, even though they ought to.
Really, if we only wanted to have productive citizens, we’d have to dump most politicians, Hollywood, academics, media, journalists and all the rest of the liberal establishment!

Then, when there aren’t enough workers to take care of their mansions, and vineyards and businesses, and when—horrors!—they don’t have enough voters—they’ll demand we open the borders, and import more of Mexico’s poor to do the job. This is not a good idea. Mexico’s an imploding country and, anyway, growing your country’s next generation isn’t a job that should be outsourced.
Just to be contrary I plan to have 5 kids and raise them all to be productive independent individuals.

Amazingly, the only general circumstance under which additional children are a financial burden on society is when parents do not provide for them and the state does instead. A state that vigorously takes on this burden is socialized. Since the Dems do want more socialism, one can understand how “excess” kiddies might be a problem for them.
Course, Europe is far more socialized, doesn’t have any Eurokiddies, and so imports Muslims (and therefore Muslokiddies). That’s much better, I’m sure.

What i want to know is why Pelosi, a nominal Catholic, has not been excommunicated yet. It would only take a few enforced and highly public acts by the Church to make politicians like Pelosi step back from their political agendas and think a little. Fairly soon one would see Catholic politicians abstaining from votes that would put their spiritual health at risk.
The secular Democrats think that they are onto a winner here. The replacement rates for blue states is way below natural replacement hence less voters in 20 years time, so they import illegals to vote for them by becoming surrogate ‘breeders’. These low life Democrats even outsource their breeding. They know that their anti-family secular progressive mantra consigns their party to the trash can of history as their votes slip away with their emptying maternity wards.
