Hooah. Hoo-rah. (and whatever the squids and zoomies say). Glad to hear of the respite and well earned reward...Go, Titans!

Y'know the running joke for folks in the military about the 2 beer limit...first and last. Again, well deserved.

The British, Australians and New Zealanders all allow alcohol into combat zones with no ill effects. Rationing is in place and most get two cans of beer. Hell the Royal NZ Navy only stopped the practice of a 'tot' of rum daily for all ratings about 25 years ago. It was a right but few took it up so it was dropped after 300 years of tradition. A 'tot' was about a third of a US pint!!!!

I still remember in the Australian army before moving into a FUP at.... 0' dark 30 hours..., being given a wee dram of rum in my coffee as a warmer!

I think the US Navy has been dry forever. The US Army seems to being doing this 'lets have no alcohol' for purely cosmetic PC reasons so as not to enrage the 'crazy Islamist crowd'. Hey! They are foaming at the mouth CRAZY. Not handing out a couple of cans per man isn't going to change that!

They should let them have more than 2 beers! At least a starter, one for halftime and either a victory or consolation beer :D
