I think the point is that it’s the religious fundamentalists who are creating the conflict, so religious leaders are the best ones to counter them. This is not a scientific problem. It’s a problem with fundamental religion.
And it’s a HUGE problem in the Republican Party.

If there is any problem with the Republican party its these 9/11 pseudo-conservatives with their non-conservative ideas, not the “fundamentalist” who have been here there long before Capt. Queeg woke up to reality on 9/11 and then hid behind these “fundamentalist.”
That comment is almost too much to bear coming from this 9/11 pseudo-conservative.
I don’t think Capt. Queeg really understands that LGF is not the basis of the Republican party nor is it the voice thereof. The power he yields at his little hate site has gone straight to his egocentric head, now perhaps he cant really shake those deeply held lefty tyrannical beliefs.
Here in the real world the Republican party is based upon freedom and free thought we are not Democrats or Dhimmicrats, we have a big tent that allows all who love and cherish there liberties as enshrined in the Declaration of Independence;
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,
So what makes Capt. Queeg AKA Charles Darwin Johnson think his 9/11 pseudo-conservative tyrannical tinfoil-hatness can dictate who and what the ideal Republican is?

BBC- A Muslim convert has been jailed for life and must serve a minimum of 18 years after launching a failed suicide bomb attack on a restaurant in Devon.
Nicky Reilly, 22, was the only person injured when he accidentally set off his home-made nail-bomb in a toilet of Exeter’s Giraffe restaurant last May.
He later admitted attempted murder and preparing an act of terrorism.
Police believe the Plymouth man, who has learning difficulties, was “preyed upon and radicalised” by others.

Reilly – who converted to Islam between 2002 and 2003 – had admitted the charges last October, but sentencing was delayed to allow doctors to assess his mental state.

Across the pond, in the Netherlands, the sizeable Muslim population (6 percent and growing) has forced the national question to the forefront. The champion of freedom of speech, who regularly storms the ramparts of a decaying, liberal, political establishment, is lawmaker Geert Wilders, leader of the Party for Freedom.

The Dutch want to hear Wilders’ message. According to Dutch pollster Maurice de Hond, Wilders “has the most loyal following of all political parties in the Lower House.” The Party for Freedom is the fifth-largest party in the Dutch Parliament, and the third-largest opposition party.

“Fitna” is unremarkable; it’s your basic primer to Islam. The Quran commands the faithful to kill the kafir. Wilders excerpts these Quranic commandments, and shows Muslim believers articulating and acting on them.
Wilders could have easily been neutralized had Muslims across the West, and their puppy-dog proxies, allowed the screening of “Fitna,” and adopted a Western, live-and-let-live stance toward this tradition of benign protest.
But no: Predictably, at least from a cursory reading of the Quran, Muslims went berserk. By so doing, they proved Wilders right: Islam and its fervent adherents are a danger to men and women yearning to breathe free.
