I fear that Israel will not heed the advice. The West (and I consider Israel to be part of "the West") is led by too many people who have a fastidious conscience but no moral compass. They FEEL guilty, but they somehow don't really KNOW right from wrong anymore. Lacking firm convictions, they are reduced to following "popular" opinion, which really means the opinion of the world's leftist elite. I expect Israel to stop short and capitulate soon.
