War to the bitter end…
“We have stretched our hand in peace many times to the Palestinian people. We have nothing against the people of Gaza,” Ehud Barak said to a special session of parliament. “But this is an all-out war against Hamas and its branches. The restraint that we have demonstrated is the source of our strength when it is time to fight.”

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.
Play nice!
I gotta say that I take issue with this statement from Ehud Barak. They have nothing against the people of Gaza, but they have a beef with Hamas.
The people of Gaza elected Hamas into their government based on their stance against Israel. Since Hamas is a duly recognized and elected organization, Israel’s beef is with the people of Gaza as well.
This is a softball approach, likely meant to try and save face against the onslaught of bad press and proclimations from the UN and all lefty trash.
Hit’em, Isreal. Hit’em hard. Hit them until they are so tired of dying that they stop teaching “Kill Israel!” Hit them until they are so tired of dying that THEY cast out Hamas.
You have to identify your enemy and their supporters, or else you end up with a weak willed force that cannot defeat the enemy and make the enemy’s supporters quake with fear to the point of NOT supporting the enemy.
Lance Kates,
I agree with you. Israel should show no mercy.
War sucks but in a way I’m glad this is finally happening.
Enough with the foreplay. Let’s get this over with.
God bless Israel.
The solution is really very simple in Gaza,
10 bombs for every rocket fired at Israel. Do not discriminate between military and civilian targets. As with the bombing of the German cities in WWII the objective is twofold.
Break the economic system that allows war effort to continue and destroy the will of the enemy population. The Palis elected these thugs and now the Palis need to understand that there is a cost to pay in JDAM ‘fleas’ for ‘laying down with dogs’.
Destroy the power water and telecommunications infrastructure in Gaza
Sink that Iranian ship docked unloading arms in Gaza port and render the port unusable by mining the approaches
Blow down the Egyptian border with Gaza to allow escape.
Bomb and bomb until Gaza is empty of population and then bulldoze the ruins and leave.
Alas Israel will show the compassion that is never reciprocated. The current offensive will , as all recent israeli offenses are truncated and attenuated by PC political ,attitudes within Israel and world opinion. Not even Lekuid has the balls to do this once and for all.
That is why Israel will eventually be turned to glass by Muslims.
The West should take note that compassion for the ruthless is seen as weakness and license by the enemy.
Our elites seem to be still living on the planet Zog whilst the rest of us are harried by this Islamic hoard. Could it be that our elites will sell us down the river for the price of one more generation of …’the good life’?
Nancy actually got it right on this one when he stated posted the video of the thousands of Hamas supporters chanting “death to Israel” and other slogans in support of attacking Israel within the last month.
We can only hope that Israel brings security to HaEretz, justice to the Jewish people, and peace to the citizens of Israel.
That being said, please pray for those going into (and already in) harms way. We are arm chair Generals and bad-asses. My relatives who just got called up, are not. As much as I support any attack on the Terrorists, I worry about my family. Please pray to G-d, for them, their safety, their strength, and their success.

(General Synopsis:
In this poem, the writer asks from G-d to protect the nation of Israel, and not to let them to their enemies.)
Lastly, let us NEVER forget why this attack on Hamas and Gaza are presently necessary…because of the foolhardy, and blasphemous “disengagement”. Many of those Jews who were ethnically cleansed from Gaza as a “good will gesture” are still homeless, and their children still traumatized.

Amen to that Lance. Gaza is Hamas. Do I think there are innocents in Gaza? Sure! There’s innocents in every war. But the fact of the matter is, the majority of these people nominated Hamas as their representative government. I don’t like Obama – but whatever decisions he reaches about war, I feel like Obama’s war will then be my war.
That comment makes about as much sense to me as Bush’s statement about looking into Putin’s eyes and seeing his soul…I don’t remember anything about the flames of hell being in Putin’s eyes.
Tex:
Makes about as much sense as “Islam is a religion of peace”.

Very true Bayonet…how could I forget that one?
Tex:
Christianity: No present offensive wars against their neighbors.
Jews: No present offensive wars against their neighbors.
Islam: Offensive wars against approximately 98% of their neighbors, in addition to internal guerilla violent actions against unknown number of present home countries.
Which one now is the “religion of peace”? (if any of them are?)
Aussie Infidel,
“Bomb and bomb until Gaza is empty of population and then bulldoze the ruins and leave.”
You forgot strewing the ruins with salt. Worked with Carthage. I’m jus’ sayin’.
Howdy Tex, good to see you back.
Hey Lexus,
Man, I’ve had gastroenteritis (first time I’ve been sick in years) and have been on the mend for about a week now. What a wimp I’ve become.
It’s good to be back…and thank you.
Tex–you got that bug too?!? I was knocked down solid by that one on top of another cold for DAYS……Still smarting from it all.
