Egypt warns Hizballah

It seems Egypt is in fact allying with Israel against the Islamo-Fascists. The Egyptians have told Nasrallah to shove it.

Egypt: Hizbullah declared war on us

In a press conferenceheld on Monday afternoon in Ankara with his Turkish counterpart, Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit responded to criticism by Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah on Sunday, saying that “They have practically declared war on Egypt via several satellite stations. The Egyptian people reject and opposes this declaration.”

“They want for there to be chaos in Egypt as there is in their country,” Gheit said of Hizbullah.

“I tell this man [Nasrallah]: No, no! Our armed forces can defend our homeland from people like you. Your interest in creating chaos is not in the best interest of the area,” he added.

Indeed this is getting interesting. It seems the Sunni Arab states and Israel have a de facto alliance against Iran and its Jihadist allies. Either way this attack on Gaza is revealing the tensions in the region. Egypt vs. Hizballah, I wonder where Al-Qaeda stands.

I doubt either Hizb’allah or Hamas would like to go up against the Egyptian Army. Egyptians can be quite brutal, as we saw under Nasser.

So, if Hizballah declares war and nobody cares, is it really war?

Here is the wiki on the Egyptian Army.

Quite powerful in the Arab world, I might say.

Yes, The Egyptians are well armed and trained. I just find it fascinating that Israel and Egypt are allied. Iran and its buddies know how to make friends.

I seriously doubt Egypt and Israel are allies per say. I think Egypt is just a little better at using their brains and understand Israel can open a serious can of whoop ass on any of it’s neighbors…so they are trying to steer clear of the line of fire at the moment.

Considering Egypt gets a HUGE chunk in foreign aid from the U.S., it shouldn’t be too surprising…

This reminds me of how Pol Pot was too insane even for the North Vietnamese.

Maybe Egypt can follow through like the Vietnamese and invade.
