An Islamic school in Australia has banned the Australian National Anthem. When one teacher complained, he was fired. More from NEWS.com.au:
A BRISBANE school has banned the national anthem at assemblies and sacked the teacher who asked for it to be played.
Australian International Islamic College teacher Pravin Chand was sacked in November, four months after his proposal for students to sing Advance Australia Fair was ruled to be against the “Islamic view and ethos”.

School chairman Imam Abdul Quddoos Azhari yesterday denied the anthem ban and said students sang it “at every function”.
But Mr Chand, whose version of events was backed by a second teacher, said he had not heard the anthem once this year.
“No national anthem to me means no integration with Australian kids,” Mr Chand said. “Western values (at the school) are a no-no.
“It’s like a paramilitary camp that place.”
Mr Chand’s employment was terminated by the college board last month on the grounds he was “not fitting into the school’s ethos”.
Where is the outcry from either Right or Left in Australia? This is sick.
I’m sure one of the bolded lines are what put a bunch in their bishts.
The “missing verse” would blow it right off.

The title says shot dead, but the article says it is unclear if they were killed. Such is the state of “breaking” news I guess.

Independent schools do not have to play the National Anthem and can follow whatever ‘ethos’ that rings their bell. Just as long as they come up to scratch and teach the State Education curriculum. There is State funding for independent schools but they lose both funding and license if they stray from the laid down syllabus.
A similar Muslim attempt to bus in 1400 muslim students a day into Camden (a historic old colonial settler town with a 98.4% Anglo-Saxon demographic) after buying a parcel of land in the centre of the town, was soundly defeated. Thousands of locals objected to the plans for a massive mosque to be established in an area with just 7 Muslims, and an associated large school. Local Council planning regulations are a drag most of the time but they really do come in very handy occasionally!
The attempted ‘invasion’ by muslims was seen off in no uncertain terms. This is really like a game of ‘Whack the Gopher’. Every time these twisting bastards poke their heads up and try to force Australian society to modify its behavior we just keep whacking them down. Great sport really!

Just another shining example that Islam is more than just a religion. When a individual truly adheres the Quran, showing unwavering commitment…they ARE a enemy of ANY non Shariah Government. Sounds like Australia has a neat little Islamic Caliphate colony parading as a school.
Yup. We have a feral little community of ‘head bangers’ in Oz. The infestation is alsa global. Remember last year or was it 2006? Some Islamic bastards dressed in leather jackets decided to deal to a couple of Aussie Lifesavers (life guards) at Chronulla beach. A bunch of Lebs (lebanese Muslims) beat up a couple of lifesavers as they were about to leave the beach after their duty period. They also made arseholes of themselves by assaulting several VERY shapely ladies wearing bikinis. The Lebs were seen off by a crowd of beach goers. Next day 3-5000 Aussie beachgoers rioted whilst looking for ‘mussies’ to rearrange their facial features after 10 or so Lebs came back looking for trouble.
The resulting rioting over the next 12 hours across 4 suburbs saw the cops arrest 12 Aussies but NO Lebs after 20 carloads of Lebs from their central ‘hive’ in Lekemba arrived looking for trouble. Most charges were eventually dropped and the Lebs theoretically ‘won’! They did however not get off without being beaten to a pulp and after the fact 7 of the cars they used were found mysteriously burned out after the Lebs trashed over 200 cars in a random act of violence especially in Maroubra Beach ( my old stamping ground).
Still there have not been any Lebs back to Chronulla Beach since and the local surfer gang.. the ‘[’braboys) have put a price on the head of Lebs attempting the eastern beach suburbs. The liberal media and self proclaimed ‘enlightened’ worthies (read… liberal leftist scum) beat their breasts but most just laughed at them! The cops who had strict orders from the commissioner did what they had to do but since then have really cracked down on the Mussies after a couple of car loads followed a police car back to Auburn Police Station and brassed it up with AK47s! A group of feral Lebs were jailed for 50 + years for pack raping ’skippies’ (Australian girls). They crossed the line at that stage and now folks go out of their way to let the Mussies know that they are not welcome downunder. They have the alternative of leaving as instructed by a Cabinet Minister; converting as the Christian Lebanese have (actually they did not convert but remained Christian since the 1st Century in Lebanon!) or being so marginalized and monitored that their lives are shit!
