Media Narratives Feed Terrorist Fantasies

This well written piece explains how the Leftist media comes up with justifications for Islamic Terror. The Media is allied with Islam and they are the enemy within. I wish the government would investigate the media and see if they receive money from Iran or Saudi Arabia. The Media are traitors and they need to be silenced.

For purposes of self-justification, Azam Amir Kasab, the only terrorist taken alive in last week’s Mumbai massacre, offered that the murder of Jews in the city’s Chabad House was undertaken to avenge Israeli atrocities on Palestinians. Two other terrorists cited instances of anti-Muslim Hindu violence as the answer to the question, “Why are you doing this to us?” before mowing down 14 unarmed people at the Oberoi Hotel. And if dead terrorists could talk, we would surely hear Abu Ghraib mentioned as among their reasons for singling out U.S. and British hostages.

Oh. Why didn’t you say so? Of course a naked pyramid justifies killing innocent civilians that had nothing to do with anything.

    Those people make me sick.

Re:3 Not all media and not everyone in the media. I think Levin and Rush have it right most of the time.

The main “crime” that we are all guilty of is not being Muslim. That “crime” justifies jihad, and any other excuse is epiphenomenal.

However, how about killing some Muslims to avenge the Hindus and Jews killed? Shall we start in the US? Oh, that’s not the same, the leftist media will tell us.

Until we target the American media with ACT UP style direct action, we will continue to have this problem.

SK good luck changing the media. You leave great comments IMHO. But I think it takes more to change the MSM. Maybe you can do it.

The Media needs to be taught lessons. I’ll leave it at that!

One thing we can all do—start boycotting them, today. Hollywood movies, dead tree papers, magazines (unless they’re devoted solely to baking, sewing, painting or something like that), all of it. Hit them in the wallet!

Besides the Saudi influence, the media doesn’t want to be bombed, or hit with bogus lawsuits by CAIR.

Classic modern right-wing thinking: it’s not our actions that cause anger in the Muslim community. It’s the fact that someone reported on our actions. Will you people ever grow up?

So 49er, you feel a naked pyramid is justification for killing over 170 people in India with the goal of killing more?

Someone needs to grow up, and it isn’t us.

    49erDem ,
So Muslims never do anything wrong? Care to discuss the 7th Century Jihad?

    Our actions.

Like all that aid that flows into muslim countries (jiyza) or the way we wouldn’t allow our troops to go into mosque even when we knew jihadis were hiding out in them. Oh yeah, and that politically correct “islam means peace” “it’s just a tiny minority of extremist” line…

And the way they saved the muslims in kuwait from the crazy muslim Saddam. Add that to how they sided with Bosnian muslims in Kosovo.

    Who could blame them?

So, tell me, 49er, do you feel the actions at Abu Ghraib justify the murder of innocent Hindus in Mumbai, who had nothing to do with that “atrocity”; whose just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time?

Do you think Abu Ghraib, or the Iraqi war, justify the torture/murders of that Chabad rabbi and his wife—which their now orphaned two-year old son might have witnessed? What did that kid do, to deserve being orphaned, and seeing his mom and dad butchered?

What about the American man and his 13 year old daughter, who were killed because they went to India to study meditation? They didn’t have anything to do with Abu Ghraib; did they deserve to be gunned down?

And, while you’re at it, would you like to discuss the 7th Jihad? Or, maybe, the ongoing conflict between India and Pakistan, which began long before 9/11, Abu Ghraib and both Bushes becoming president.

Would you like to offer some actual arguments, as opposed to simply screaming us, and ordering us to shut up, like some commissar enraged that the peasants are actually daring to ask questions?
As arwyn said, somebody needs to grow up.

Rodan, that’s the Left’s typical argument—Islam can do no wrong. Even when it does wrong, it’s right, because it’s in protest against the evil US, or evil Israel. Or evil something. If you disagree, then comes the dance of hate-filled rage, where they try to shut you up by accusing you of racism. Or Islamophobia. Or being a right-winger. They have no real arguments, so they just scream.
