I was banned because I stated my support of Serbia’s fight against Jihad. This made Killgore and Medura angry. I was banned. Avideditor who is Jewish and would have nothing to do with Nazis or Fascists too was banned for standing by me. Savage was banned because he wouldn’t bow down to Charles’s henchmen. We all have nothing to do with Fascism!
As for thr Vlams Beelang, I don’t know them that well. That’s up for Belgians to decide what they are, but they don’t hate Jews, Blacks or others from what I see. They are against the Jihad and I will not condemn them. This doesn’t mena I support them, just I will not go against anyone taking on Islam.

When I was a LGF member, every morning I posted several newsworthy links in the link viewer. One happened to be about Obama’s birth certificate. This was only one link, not the story and not any opinion and before I knew that topic was off-limits.
That’s what got me banned.
Then Charles lied about it posting a comment saying I “insisted” on posting about the birth certificate, implying that I had repeatedly promoted the story.
I was banned for having an opinion that differed from Charles’.

I would have banned from LGF for almost every possible reason Charles can come up with, including praising Christianity as the roots of reason and culture, allying myself with good European conservatives such as Vlaams Belang, standing vocally for Serbia, being against the Iraq war (just like the good Serb Serge Trifkovic), defending good people like Fjordman, Andrew Bostom, Spencer and the others Charles has thrown under the bus, and ridiculing Charles from relying on leftwing extremist sources while suffering a near-complete lack of understanding of what fascism is and how it works. The ‘near’ is the one exception: He acts like a fascist leader facing dissent.
Actually, I wonder why Charles hasn’t attacked Trifkovic yet?

I was never involved with any of Johnson’s Vlams Belaang posts, since I found it very boring. I scrolled past his Vlams Belaang stories at LGF.
I was never told why I was banned.
The last few posts I made at LGF consisted of links to pages that criticized Evolution or that supported Creationism. So I can only assume I was banned for providing those links.
So for Johnson to claim that all ex-LGFers were banned over racism or Vlams Belaang content is FALSE.
I love how Johnson tries to depict himself as the martyr when it’s folks like us who were banned over trivial or unfair reasons.

I was banned for giving a compliment…when I first registered, some folks were kind enough to welcome me, and I said “Thanks guys, you guys rock socks all the way to the laundry hamper”….I know, kinda juvenile but it’s an term of endearment I’ve been saying forever..you know..”you rock socks!”. Next thing you know I’m deleted without any explanation other than Charles putting a link to my comment that says “It appears someone is boasting”. I’m like wtf?? He thought I was INSULTING or trying to get a dig of some kind, maybe announcing myself as the “enemy”. Talk about PARANOID!! And wouldn’t you know all of his minions followed suit by claiming a “sock puppet” had infiltrated their site but Charles “stopped it”, etc, and the paranoid ramblings went on for hours, It was hysterical and sad because I saw it didn’t take much for them to all fall in line and digest what ever he throws out there as fact. Since then, I have noticed increasing hostility and vitriol towards Christianity and pro-life stances, and it is not at ALL the “conservative site” I thought it once was. I see more hatred on there than just about any other site. What is most upsetting is that the Dear Leader is trying to convince social conservatives that they are foolish in their beliefs and degradation and insults run rampant on those subjects. He has set the tone of disrespect and and hostility and the minions follow suit. Next thing you know he will be promoting a “reformed” Republican party to meet both his liberal and national security needs. Judging from these comments, Charles is certainly proven dishonest. If he has to resort to libel to justify banning people, makes you wonder what else he lies about. Not only is he a hypocrite when it comes to censorship, the whole credibility of the LGF blog should now be questioned.

I used to balk at the term “neo-con”, but in the case of the present state of LGF, I think the terminology needs to be tweaked to include a link to them. avideditor…I think what you’re describing are two tenets of conservatism. The first example has to do with fighting enemies foreign and domestic (in this case terrorism), and the second has to do with FREEDOM to do whatever the heck you want behind closed doors. We have free will and outside of harming someone else, or breaking the law, we have free will and what we do personally is between ourselves and our Creator. These aren’t “neo-con” beliefs, but rather old fashioned conservatism. That’s what true conservatism represents…TRUE FREEDOM!

For those of you confused about the origin of the term neo-con…the original neo-cons were Jewish leftists who turned against Socialism and Communism because of Stalin’s persecution of Jews and the Soviet Union’s support for enemies of Israel like Syria. Norman Podhoretz (father of John of NRO fame) was the intellectual father of the movement. There is a great book of his short essays called the Norman Podhoretz Reader. I particularly enjoyed the one dissecting the “beatnik” (precursor to hippies) movement of the 50’s.
The term eventually came to apply to any former liberal that turned conservative on foreign policy issues during the Cold War, whether they were Jewish or not.
Jeanne Kirkpatrick, Ronald Reagan’s UN Ambassador, is another famous old-school NeoCon.
The term got picked up by the left after 9-11 who used it as a perjorative.
