Michael Yon on one of the biggest problems the new president will have to face: Afghan Quicksand Awaits Obama.
President-elect Obama says he is serious about Afghanistan. (Just don’t fumble Iraq, please.) As he must be learning in intelligence briefings, it’s going to be tough stuff. It will be like solving a human Rubik’s Cube during a firefight while the media screams every time you make a wrong move — or what is perceived as a wrong move — and there is a clock ticking and at some unknown point the Cube self-destructs.
Maybe his recent training in the combat of a two-year election cycle will have toughened him up for the international challenges ahead.
Maybe.

You know, I think Barry is going to surprise all of us, in a good way. See, he’s a Democrat and if he goes all out on the terrorists, then Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi won’t be able to say a fucking thing about it cause he is one of them.
I see interesting times ahead.
If he “goes all out on the terrorists”, I’ll have a damn heart attack. It would be worth it. Surprise me Barry.
obama is preparing to surrender as fast as possible
Everyone knows the democrats dont have a fighting bone in their spineless bodies’
Instead of feeling depressed or angry about the Obama win, I’m happy about it, because I’m anticipating (with much glee) what will happen when he stumbles.
He’s not going to be able to make everyone happy.
Pretty soon, different groups of liberals are going to feel betrayed by him, or feel let down.
When the honeymoon ends, when buyer’s remorse sets in, I suspect we’ll be seeing a lot more “PUMA” like Democrats.
Obama is bound to make mistakes after he’s been in office for awhile, which will be more opportunity for yuks.

Well, the democrats of today don’t have a spine. Used to be, they were the fighters. They loved America. Those days are past. Now the party is filled (apparently) with people who think that Billy Ayers is OK in their book.
Obama. Not my President.
