I understand what you’re trying to do, but unless you upload the pics to wordpress.com, they are still hosted on his site. It’s only a matter of time until he gets ticked off and either complains to wordpress, sabotages the images, or do something worse, especially if you plan on doing this for an extended period and over a multitude of posts. He’s probably just ignoring you at this point, but I’m guessing he knows.
